Let’s be honest: if you’re not a fan of one of the two teams or a die-hard NFL lover eking out one last game before pre-season six months from now, then you watch the Super Bowl for the commercials. There is no shame in that.
The commercials for the NFL championship game between the Baltimore Ravens and the San Francisco 49ers are the ultimate showcase for advertisers since 111 million people are expected to tune in.
Here are a few early releases to tease your interest.
“Dad, where do babies come from?” See how Kia answers this question:
Does Go Daddy live up to its reputation from previous commercials? Judge for yourself in this one between a “nerd” and supermodel Bar Refaeli:
This Coke commercial lets the viewers vote on how it ends:
When is going stag to the prom not that big of a deal? When dad lets you borrow his Audi:
Believe it or not, the men’s body product line Axe is a first-time advertiser this year. Check out Axe’s unexpected twist:
And the classic everyone watches for — Budweiser:

Posted on February 1, 2013 at 4:32pmKia = awesome!
Go Daddy = please just go ahead and file bankruptcy if thats the best you can offer…
Coke = ho hum…they’ve been eluding to this for a couple of weeks now…it’s like the amazing race..come on Coke, you’ve produced better than this before….
Audi = I burst out in random laughter…way too funny that!
Axe = well I guess you have to do something if you are spending that kind of money for an ad during the Super Bowl, but if it were me – that would not have been it….
And the Bud Ad = pretty cheesey, but will definitely make alot of people go “aawweee – i want a clydesdale…”

Posted on February 1, 2013 at 3:05pmLoved the Bud spot. The rest are just so much noise. And, I too have never watched a football game. Fooooootball is a disease (in my opinion of course). Just think of all the things you could be doing instead of sitting there watching over paid athletes beat each other senseless (ok, more senseless). Just wastes your time and potential.

Posted on February 1, 2013 at 2:03pmI don’t use GoDaddy because they are unreliable, they are down more than they are up, their customer service is an utter disaster and they rank near the bottom of the list quality wise when it comes to web hosting, across the board.
I do however enjoy their commercials with hot chicks. Would have been better without the nerd of course.

Posted on February 1, 2013 at 1:31pmYeah, I noticed that, *clearly* with Bar. The guy also looked dumbstruck, and likely was. That’s the hottest girl he’ll ever kiss in his entire life, and if he doesn’t die single, will go to his grave with a smile of undeserved pleasure on his face.
The young lady in the lifeguard commercial was quite fetching as well. Wow.

It would also be nice if there were more of us who think that being blessed by God with a child is wonderfully awesome and far cooler than some stupid shaggy dog and space story. But in Obama’s America, babies happen when the condom breaks and the abortion clinic is closed.
