Chloé Simone Valdary Delivers Rousing Pro Israel Speech at University of New Orleans

During a pro-Israel campus event this week, University of New Orleans sophomore Chloé Simone Valdary delivered a stirring speech about the alarming rise of anti-Semitism currently spreading across the globe. She urged her colleagues to stand for Israel as its enemies vow to wipe the nation off the face of the planet.

“That thing we said would never happen again is happening,” Valdary said, referring to the Holocaust.

Valdary, who created the campus-based group Allies for Israel, said radical Egyptians chanted for the death of Israel over and over again during the so-called “Arab Spring” and other radical Islamic nations continue to call for Israel’s destruction.

“How will we respond?” she asked. “George Washington said that the time is near at hand, which must determine whether Americans are to be free men or slaves. I believe the time is near which must determine whether Jews and those who love them are to be courageous or cowards. To ignore the calls for annihilation or go to battle.”

Sadly, many of the above comments prove that Valdary speaks the truth. I wish she could speak at every university in the nation especially mine (UC Irvine) where anti-Israel events occur every year with many anti-Jewish and anti-American speakers.

I’m quite happy someone in college is standing up for Israel. It seems the popular thing to do to demean it, attack it, and spit upon it. I wonder if those against Israel know they’re defacing God’s own country?

  So the condition for being a US citizen is you must swear allegiance to to America? My first loyalty is and has always been to my family, friends, neighbors, and colleagues. How many soldiers go to war to fight for their President or their government? By my reckoning, the vast majority go to fight for their loved ones. Now if I determine that my family is better off if both Israel and the US remain strong, independent nations, who are you to tell me I must choose one or the other? I have relatives and friends in both countries after all.

How?! It’s one thing to SAY “kill all the Jews” it’s a WHOLE DIFFERENT matter to actually be ABLE to do it, and then TRY to do it.

Now granted, the Ayatollahs are a bunch of bastards and I wouldn’t be sad to see the Mosad suffocate them in their sleep. If anyone will drive a state over the edge it will be the ecclesiastics of Iran. But their power may be waning in their own state–they’ve kind of managed to systematically alienate every other segment of Iranian society, and at this rate Iran is likely bound for another revolution.   One thing I hate about TheBlaze is their rabid support of “chosen people” and Israel. These same “chosen people” that they are supporting (as useful idiots) are the same “chosen people” that are constantly undermining conservatives in the media, Hollywood, and the government.
  
  There are two groups in the Republican Party. The “useful idiots” branch which is currently in control and puts Israel first and then the “Ron Paul” branch that cares about America and not Israel. The RINO branch does everything it can to prevent the other branch from being heard.

  The “chosen people” you speak of that you say The Blaze supports are the people of Israel; they are not the American Jew. There is a huge difference. The people of Israel (be they Jewish or not) have a right to exist in peace even if they do not mirror America as a Republic. I understand that their society is much more socialistic than our and I do not believe it is superior in any way, but they have a MUCH smaller population and an electorate that supports their way of life (just like, let’s say France). The American Jewish population deserves criticism due to their support of an American move towards socialistic rule. If American Jews want to be governed as Israel is, then they should move there as WE don’t want their form of government “democratic” as it may be.

That person is ignorant and knows nothing. nobody is threatening and rising up against Israel right now, the only thing to be concerned about is an economy getting worse, with standard of living plummeting at a fast rate and goverment taking away rights in a futile attempt to keep order after a financial or economy collapse.

Israel isn’t anywhere close to that financial situation so there fine.

I wasn’t surprised this was in New Orleans. The city has a large population of Holocaust survivors (sadly diminishing) and excellent Holocaust education programs, out of the Southern Institute at Tulane. Good job and keep telling the truth!

Regardless of your stance on borders, statehood, or even religion, she embodies the universal truth among decent people that Israel has the right to exist peacefully and without brutal, constant attack from the Palestinians. If the Arab world really cared about the Palestinians, they would embraces their brothers and sisters by granting them citizenship, allowing them to own land in their countries (Iraq, Jordan, Syria, Lebanon, Saudi Arabia, etc.), and allowing their children to do the same. There are no “Palestinian Refugees”; there are only Arabs who have remained unwelcome by their own for the last 50 years.
The world will not allow the anti-Semitics to ever again commit the kind of genocide that Hitler brought to the world. Good, decent people see the signs and are awake.

These same “people” don’t want to live peacefully inside that land, they want it all to themselves and will stop at nothing to push Israel and the Jew into hell for it. The Israeli people DO want to live in peace, but they have not been able to. They are constantly under threat and fear of a suicide attack or bomb falling out of the sky and blowing them apart. So it is easy to sit here at home by a warm fireplace in peace and criticize those living in a place where you could be blown apart from a missile attack at any time. And we haven’t even thrown in chemical weaponry into the discussion yet.
  
  No, Israel has a right to defend itself, even (and especially) if that right is expressed in the form of a preemptive strike. Just as I have a right to defend myself with my firearms if someone armed and with ill intent attacks me or invades my home. If you are a second amendment supporter who screams at the top of his or her lungs against gun control and the limiting of our rights, and you turn around and say Jews are evil for feeling the same way about defending themselves.   You confabulate so much it’s tough to understand a logical point. First, it must be said that Hitler had no animus towards Jews as a young man. His was a learned hate. Second, hate towards Jewish behavior was wide spread at the time of Hitler. It was not confined to Germany, which begs an answer to the age old question, “Why have so many disparate peoples and cultures, throughout so many different generations, come to that same conclusion about Jewish behavior?”
  
  Finally, Israel is Zionist, not Jewish. Zionists ride the coattails of Judaism and ethnic Jewishness. Zionism is a political philosophy, as was Nazism. Israel is a Zionist state, like Germany was a Nazi state. German Nazis called for an ethnic Aryan state. Israeli Zionists call for an ethnic Jewish state.

  Jerk, your comments are appreciated as it continually reminds me there are still alive those who hate Jews. There are Jews involved in pornography, organized crime, drug and arms smuggling and various other nefarious activities. But because some are involved does that mean Jews are all bad? That’s like saying all blacks are bad because they are so involved with drug sales and shootings. Or all whites are bad because most of the people causing the present economic disaster are white. Israel allows other religions unlilke those who surround there country who would demand conversion or death if they prevail. The Jews have brought there condition upon themselves but not because of the views of racists. Jews were given this punishment because of their disobedience of God. However, it will change. Where are the people in government to speak out loudly against the blatant evil, the selling out of Israel, the bankrupting of America, the spreading of communism, the selling of welfare?
