Shock Video: Mall Security Guard Forced to Tase Mother After She Attacks Him While Toddlers Hurl ‘Gay’ Insults

Get ready for what could be the most incredible video of the year (so far).
Two mothers with out-of-control children were charged with seven misdemeanors between the two of them after they got into a violent confrontation with a security guard at an Atlanta mall. One of the moms ended up getting tased and the video of the incident has gone viral.

Darien Long is the security guard and on-site manager for Atlanta’s Metro Mall. The inner city shopping center is not like the typical suburban shopping mall. Metro Mall has problems with drug dealers and gangs of shoplifters, and people selling stolen merchandise. Mr. Long calmly faces these issues each day. He told a local news report:
“I’m always out numbered, that’s why I have the video camera. I’m always concerned with my safety, but not to the point where I won’t act.”
That is not anymore apparent than in the video posted below, which although it is from an incident that happened in May has just been recently going viral.
Mr. Long says that he was just trying to keep a group of unruly children from going back into the building. In the video, the mothers have a problem with this and the conflict quickly escalates. Initially it involves some rough language being tossed at Long. In addition, the kids, who appear no older than toddlers, join in, hurling “gay” insults at Long.

But it doesn’t end there. One of the women eventually aggressively approaches Long and starts punching him. After enduring several seconds of abuse, Long eventually pulls out his taser and fires. The woman goes stiff as a board and hits the ground — in front of her children — before eventually coming to.

Even after that, a man who appears to be the childrens’ father approaches Long and tries to stage a fight at “6.” Long keeps him at bay by threatening to tase him, too.

I’m half black and hispanic, and I’m sick and tired of the “black community” my father who is black has never been more ashamed of this “black community”. Most people see blacks in a negative light, but no one has the balls to say out loud because they don’t want to be labeled as racist. Its not racist if its true.
Blacks are no longer the proud people they once were. They have become dependents, they have become burdens, they have become racists and thugs. Anyone that says otherwise is a liar. My family and other black families have become educated and successful, but we’re labeled as “uncle toms”. Its amusing to me, my family built our success through education and hard work. We don’t take a penny from the government, yet the one’s who throw this term at us are uneducated, unemployed, and are on the governments tit.
Look above, this is what being “black” is. Keeping it real, black pride, whatever the hell you want to call it. Real inspiring. I wish I could say I could blame all of this on the democratic party. They have kept the black community down for so long with their offers of free money, government housing and so on. At some points the black community needs to stand on its own feet and become the proud people we once were. Quit taking hand outs and be proud. As it was I’m still surprised some “investigation” into mall management or ownership didn’t turn up a white person somewhere (italics implied) to blame. After 30 + years of an almost entirely black political establishment in Atlanta, someone will still try to blame the “White Power Structure” for a problem too big to be swept the rug by the black folks in charge. I feel sorry for those children being brought up with parents that engage in this type of behavior. What they see and are learning is forming how they will be later in life and they will probably continue this cycle. I fear for their future.
One more thing, not to be racial but what is it with black woman and their complete lack of civility and their arrogant combative behavior? I just don’t understand it.

If you wanted an example of why the country is the way it is, just look at the responses to that video. We should be shocked by the behavior of the women, children and father. We shouldn’t care at all about their skin color (It’s meaningless. There are people of many skin colors with videos doing similar despicable acts.) We should care about children exposed to behavior like this and now think it’s okay and acceptable to act like this. We should care that a security guard like this man had absolutely no backup available at the mall. If he had, it would never have escalated.
Any ‘real’ ideas about how to address this kind of moral decay? I’ve seen nothing but rethorical stuff so far, and wedge drivers.
C’mon folks, stop driving wedges and try to find solutions.

Fake ID’s, shoplifters, stolen credit cards and bad checks. My commissioned sales team made more money on seizing the credit cards than they did selling the merchandise! We had one card that had embossed numbers stolen 3 years prior with a magnetic number stolen days before. That one paid my guy $150. The police missed the perp by seconds when he bolted from my store. I can only imagine how much worse it is now.

Whites are right to loudly complain about what is obvious to everyone. If there is racism it comes almot exclusiverly from the black sector anymore. I was raised in a predominately white society, largely influenced by Christianity, although our home was divided in that regard, I benefited from a society that knew of and respected His Grace.
One of the benefits of past American society, at least where I lived, was that bad white people were appropriately discriminated against or resisted so the the good could live in peace and tranquility. The bad did not dominate the good. Race was not an issue. We did not have to accept people just because their flesh was a particular color, in this case white. It was more of a content of their character sort of thing.
We did not have to pretend to like something or somebody in order to not be accused of being racist.
There was a degree of sanity that is presently lacking.
On a road trip out west in the early 1960s, while stopping at a Spokane restaurant , I do recall my mother, standing up to and giving the owner the riot act for not waiting on a fine black family who were being neglected because of their skin color. I do not think my mother would have stood up to defend those shown in this Atlanta mall story, with the exception of the security guard.
Note in the video how the children are learning from their parents.

While I do agree that the Blaze does enjoy these stories showing sub-saharans like these acting like primates, the fact of the matter is they don’t create these videos, the idiots provide the footage.
This is how it is in these inner city cesspools. I think it is a valuable lesson for those who live in civilized areas to see what these people and these areas are really like. These thugs would rob or kill you in a heartbeat and trust me, you are not welcome in their neighborhoods, their malls, their restaurants. Somehow you think people like the ones in this video are not racist?
Fast forward 12 years and the little kids yelling gay slurs are the ones selling crack outside the cell phone store. Not maybe. 100% guarantee. Those children should have been removed from the parents on the spot. But it is already too late for them. They are screwed.
The black community needs to handle this, fix their generations of this being normal behavior. I know several black people that hate these ghetto trash people making a whole race look dumb. They need to handle it. They don’t all act like this, but at least 50% do. And as much as it pains Blaze readers to process this, I would bet Mr. Obama hates these people as much as we do. Not hates their votes mind you, but these type of people would torment him mercilessly for being a halfie, speaking properly, dressing nicely, etc…I would bet he thinks they are trash as much as we do.

Oh, I completely agree. That’s why I would never tie this type of behavior to any one specific race. The madness of the pack mentality crosses all racial barriers. Where I live, the demographic does tend to be one specific race more than others, but I’ve been all across the US and I’ve seen it among others as well.
People like MaryElizabeth automatically leap to the conclusion that, since the perpetrators in a particular incident are black, we at TheBlaze must be commenting on it because we’re not black. That actually says more about HER than any of us.

I believe GB would post the story whether or not it was black people in the video. The point of the piece is the decline of our civilization. And those standing up to it. The security guard in the video is also black.
However, I do agree with you that there seems to be a rather large number of racist or at the very least bigoted comments. I know many normal black people that would have the same reaction to this video that I have. It has nothing to do with color, and all to do with city mentality. Here on the west coast our cities are no as populated with black people, and the same crap happens. I really wish those of you who are making the prejudicial comments would realize that you are part of the problem. Why do you want people of other races to act like you when you act like a$$es?
That said… I really did like the way the assailant did a swan dive to the pavement when he tazed her ****. That security guard has more patience then me as I would have tazed her sooner, and the baby daddy that stepped up to him.

You should look up YouTube sometime. Look into ‘fights’ and you’ll see people of all kinds of skin colors doing this garbage. I can’t stop you from failing to understand the reality that skin color has absolutely nothing to do with the quality of a person, you are entitled to your opinion no matter how flawed it is.
I feel sad and sorry for folks that can’t see past the color of a person’s skin. We all have our burden’s to bear and being blinded by something so minor just seems a great waste of opportunity in life to me. I have friends of many skin tones, I am married to a woman who’s skin tone and origin culture is different from my own and she is a wonderful person, just like my friends whose skin or culture heritage origin varies from my own. All of us would condem garbage like is on that video. I know that doesn’t mean much to the skin-blind folks, but maybe someday you’ll be able to move beyond that hurdle and find that the content of character, and actions make all the difference about people in the world.

Honestly, the thing that bothered me most about this video was what
‘Mom’ was teaching her children.
I just recently watched a very stupid movie called Idiocracy. The only redeeming part of it for me was the little intro. In the beginning of the movie it’s explaining about the whole survival of the fittest and how the stongest and brightest will be the most likely to survive and blablabla. Then it shows a couple with high IQs who choose to not have children until after college, then after their careers established, then they’re old and infertile. It flashes back and forth between that couple and some trailer trash couple who is having a ton of kids. The dad is unfaithful and knockin up the neighbor girl. Their kids are having kids as teenagers and so on. This is who ends up sowing the seed of humanity on earth. I see videos like this one and I think of that movie and how it might become a reality. Sad.
