This concerns the “What’s wrong with Chicago?” from yesterday. I have no desire to denigrate anyone, but I wonder, what is the unemployment rate on the South Side? Generations of welfare, failed schools, slums, areas where police are unwilling to go to protect citizens and fight gangland violence. The government has relegated the people of South Side and areas like it to poverty and utter hopelessness, using them whenever they need the votes, or photo ops. Slavery at its worst. Throwing money at a problem will not fix it, although billions have been spent.
