‘For All the Skeeters’: White House Releases Photo of Obama Skeet Shooting

In an apparent effort to put the kibosh on the burgeoning “skeeter” movement, the White House released a photo Saturday of President Barack Obama shooting clay pigeons.

“President Barack Obama shoots clay targets on the range at Camp David, Md., Saturday, Aug. 4, 2012,” reads the caption on the official White House photo.

Obama’s remark in an interview last week that “we do skeet shooting all the time” was met with open challenges and skepticism even from the Washington Post’s famed fact-checker. TheBlaze’s Jon Seidl coined the phrase “skeeter,” in line with the “truther,” “birther” and other “-er” movements.

Skeet are in the AIR?, not across from the shooter like a string of tin cans. They are IN THE AIR. This big-earred Kenyan Communist Moooslem isn’t even aiming at skeet. SERIOUSLY? He should be shooting down his shoulder line not out in front. (No balance). His fingers and hands on the gun are wrong. (just grab a shot gun and see how your hand would be gripping the stock and trigger) The gun **** is too high and does not sell the reality of the shot. There is no recoil or kickback unless he is shooting low powder blanks. And as others have said, Why the second plum of smoke out the side of the barrel? The setting looks wrong. The whole thing is BS but non shooters will buy into it, what a facade.

  Single barrel or double, my point was he is resting the gun on his hand rather that gripping it like most shooters would grip it. If he rested it on his had that way and shot, he would lose control of the shotgun.

Good Lord, look at the stance. I’ve never seen skeet shot when your aiming level with the ground. At least put the stock on your shoulder correctly. “The Emporers Clothes” is getting desperate!!

The head set that covers his ears was specially made. they had to split a cocoanut , paint them dark blue, and carve out the inside so his ears would fit. I’m surprised he was able to hold that shotgun up with those tiny hands and puny skinny little arms. Do we really need this guy on our side, not that he really is, just asking.

Sometimes, there is a last-minute decision not to skeet shoot. So instead, all the time, he displays a pre-recorded version of him skeet shooting, while he mimes it, all the time.

In about a week he’ll hold a press conference, toss a clay pigeon, shoot it, and then ask “Any questions?”. The press will then say “That Guy crushed that controversy!”. The people will go home happy, duped, since they will never come to the realization this was never about if he has or can shoot. It was his misrepresentaion of those facts to project an image that is, very likely, not representave of what really happened.
