George Soros Says He Donated to Pro-Obama Super PAC With ‘Great Reluctance’

George Soros Donated to Pro Obama Super PAC With Great Reluctance, Discusses Income Inequality With CNN Money

Billionaire investor and political activist George Soros was speaking with CNN Money in Davos, Switzerland when he said he donated over $1 million to a pro-Obama super PAC with “great reluctance.”

CNN interviewer Poppy Harlow noted that Soros has been vocal about his opposition to Citizens United, which opened the door to super PACs, asking: “Did you just sort of throw up your hands and say, well, if this is the law of the land, if the other side is doing it, I’m going to do it as well?”

Soros replied: “Well, [I donated] with great reluctance, because I think that Citizens United has really unleashed an unlimited amount of money into the political system, which is very, very unfortunate.  But you have to live with it.”

Soros openly added that he “compromised” his principles in making the donation, but said it was excusable because money doesn’t decide elections; it just helps mobilize the electorate.

The two then turned to wealth disparity, Harlow asking whether Soros thinks “enough has been done” to address the “growing wealth gap” in the United States.

According to Soros, the “principle now is accepted” that the super-rich, like himself, should pay more.

“Since you cannot grow the total pie, because of this deleveraging,” Soros concluded, “if you could have a more equitable distribution of the pie, then the large number of people could actually see an improvement in their living standards.”

They have been since 1998 when he stated during an interview with Fareed Zakaria that he was targeting the US Economy for his next project since it was in his way of domination of the World’s Financial Markets. He was convicted in France of insider trading and he does in a way that is hard to trace. One article on the internet I have found claims that he get some of his followers in his beliefs into positions of power in the economy sectors he is targeting. When he feels the time is right he gets on the news and makes innocuous statements which are coded ways to flip the switches of his project on and just sits back an makes a profit of his leveraging of a region/country’s economy.

He did this with the British Pound Sterling in 1990′s.

This monster satisfies all the criteral of a “world ruler” as identified in Ephesians 6. This monster destroys entire national economies..4 so far…and in the mid 80′s He started on the USA. His modus operandi is selling short on a free fall crash using his hedge funds. Since this is a very risky way to do business…he rigs it by tunneling into a political party…setting up his own “secret party.” matching these political crooks up with big capitalists that want a statist government guaranteed monopoly…and getting these crooks to fill the government…spend their way to free fall currency devaluation…and cashes in on a warning from his cronies as to when the credit rating drop is coming.

The networks “cosy” up to Soros…because he used Bill and Hillary’s possession of Hoover’s FBI files to rig the selection process of all the major news networks towards liberal replacements. That level of dirt on the people in power forces early retirement or absolute compliance. Its been 20 years now…and Soros owns the lef

He started this with the USA with Bill and Hillary Clinton in the late 1980′s. He owned them body and soul from their inception through Hillary’s run in 2008… The only reason he jumped ship is that Hillary had a hard 53 percent disapproval rating and could not get elected…period. So he went with a sweet talking mulatto named Obama who COULD get elected. Bill and Hillary were summarily told to back Barak in that years Bildeburger meet

We just have to sit and watch as he destroys this country, and that is what George Soros wants. He would love communism in the United States, then he could assume control since he has already bought off the governemnt.

    Soros strategy is simple,,

Bankrupt and crush currencies through debt expansion by promoting unsustainable progressive/socialist policies..

This debt causes inflation, which is a redistribution of wealth from earners/savers to assets. the super wealthy get their wealth from asset price inflation, NOT earned income, this is why most all the billionaires promote the left, not for ideological reasons, but for power and wealth. They know that Leftist policies drive up assets (they own) and destroy currencies.

This destroys the wealth of the very people that the Left claims to defend…

Actually Citizens United wasn’t about allowing corporations like Exxon to donate to campaigns, it was to allow organizations that are incorporated like the NRA to donate to campaigns. Under the McCain/Feingold silence conservatives, err I mean campaign finance reform act, organizations like MoveOn.org and others could run ads containing lies up until and on election day, while incorporated organizations such as the NRA had to stop running ads 60 days prior to the election. Basically because the NRA didn’t incorporate as a 501(c)3 when it incorporated a century before, they would be silenced while the liberal pacs that were incorporated as 527s were allowed to run any ad that they wanted, including false ones, until the very end. Now how fair does that seem? Let’s see, allow a few thousand libs to lie, while stifling an organization with millions of members from telling the truth. Yes, I can see how the liberals think that’s fair.

Hey Keaton, the Citizens United decision wasn’t about allowing Exxon to donate to campaigns, it was about allowing organizations like the NRA to run political ads in the same manner that liberal 527 pacs do. When a group with a few thousand members is allowed to run fraudulent ads until election day, but an organization with millions of members have to stop running ads months before, how is that fair to the millions of voters who are members of the MUCH larger organization? Why should MoreOn.org be allowed to run ads on election day, but the NRA have to stop 60 days earlier.

Take your money and spend it normally–own multiple houses, collect cars, use your private aircraft–and don’t forget to hire ALL THE PEOPLE that you would need to ENJOY YOUR LAVISH LIFESTYLE! When things move along within the realm of rational behavior, the cream rises to the top! But, when one turns the economy upside down, the s4!t rises to the top! SOY – Agree, We have a terrible election system. In the following article there is a link to a 14 point plan to fix the election system. That’s how corrupt it is…14 point plan. No one thing will fix the corruption.

The reality that this Soros freak is still free just goes to show how corrupt the ICC is. He is the first one that should have been prosecuted for International Crimes. But, no Soros’s buddy Clinton is the one that gave the UN the go ahead to set-up that monster system to try Milosovic.

Isn’t that interesting ? Soros and our Obama radical Democrats BOTH trashed Citizens ‘ United which gave corporations equal rights with unions . Now what could that possibly mean ? Oh, and that bit about him ” compromising his principles ,” since when does a radical Lefty have principles to compromise ? They only care about pushing their arrogant agenda for the ” dumb” masses who are too stupid to think for themselves !

The ends always justify the means with progressives, it is never about the individual..only the collective…by the time everyone will see that it may be too late.

    He was “compromising his principles”?

Are those the principles that allowed him to attack the currencies of several countries, seriously financially damaging millions of people?

Are those the principles that allowed him to advance and profit off the fellow jews that he helped into the gas chambers?

If Mr Soros were to compromise his real principles, he would become a good man.

      Hi Kiwi,

Of course he has principles….the deal is we don´t know what exactly that word means to him. It is more like a very dark list of principles, and he is very faithful to them.

      Hi NZkiwi,

I think the principles he’s referring to are revenge and vengeance. He was dissed by O and VJ by not being allowed to visit the White House and help guide the election.

When he still gave them money….. that was against his principles in those regards.

He went against the spite he has for them.

How do you voluntarily give money reluctantly? The only time I ever give money reluctantly is through some form of taxation.

MISTER: Reading Soros’ explanations of anything is a walk down the ” voluntarily reluctant ” road. The guy speaks in twisted, convoluted sentences . A different mind-set.

I heard Soros asked to met with O several times last year and Valerie Jarret told him no.

    No wonder he was reluctant….

      Hey Monk.

Late night last night, went out late with a few friends, drank a little too much.

Soros is starting to find out his Frankenstein monster is out of control.

How have you been? I hope all is well with you.

Regarding Barry & Spooky Dude, they don´t need meetings. SD is Barry´s BFF and they chat all the time using WhatsApp….(I miss Beck doing SD voice…haven’t heard in a while)

He has to go through intermediaries because there’s a limit to how much an individual can donate,I don’t know what the figure is but there’s a limit.

Soros openly added that he “compromised” his principles in making the donation, but said it was excusable because money doesn’t decide elections; it just helps mobilize the electorate.

    Eh-que me?!?

I had read that George spend a ton on establishing “media groups ” for this election cycle. I think the tsunami of Far Left MSM propaganda we are now engulfed with gives credence to that statement. This guy is one devious, twisted, crafty, bets-on-losses , old dude. He is the Goldfinger Wizard of Oz who wants to control the world.
