Washington Post Fact-Checker Still Skeptical About Obama Skeet Shooting Claim: Pic ‘Does Not Quite Answer the Questions…’

The White House’s release of a photo of President Barack Obama shooting clay pigeons has yet to fully satisfy the Washington Post’s fact-checker.
The Post was left doubtful earlier this week about Obama’s “all the time” skeet shooting claim. Turns out they’re still dubious:
The White House released this photograph of the president at the Camp David skeet range on Aug. 4, 2012. We are pleased the White House has become more forthcoming about this matter, though it does not quite answer the questions concerning the president’s “all the time” language.

It looks like Barry’s go-to-guy for Photo-shopping birth certificates (maybe the same guy that did Danny-boy Rather’s Bush National Guard work?) did a terrible job on this obviously FAKE skeet “shooting” picture. I BET he may have handled the shotgun for a “macho” photo op with his little b*tch fingers and bony, girl-like arms barely able to heft the weapon, but I do not think he ever actually fired the gun. Reason why I think this? Look at the gas coming from ONLY the muzzle and ONE of the two ports on either side of the barrel. How does THAT happen? Exactly… It DOESN’T. The wannabe dictator-in-chief caught in yet ANOTHER in a LONG list of blatant LIES. Piece of scat.

“Smoke” is easy to produce in Photoshop. Importantly, does his stance indicate recoil from the gun? (Not really) That would be easier to determine if there was a SERIES of photos….gee, I wonder why there aren’t more pics being issued….
One thing for sure, his team of top-notch experts eases him through all of his —and his handlers’— lies and fictions about his dubious past, his college records, the list goes on and on. This is just one more addition to the big giant facade.

Posted on February 3, 2013 at 12:30pmI just spotted something in the photo that tell me it was staged or photo-shopped! As you know I have shot trap, skeet & sporting clays for years. Look at the picture and look at the muzzle on the top barrel you see the gold ring at the end of it?? That’s a Midas choke tube you need that to shoot the gun because without it you could damage the threads inside the barrel that the Midas choke screws into….Okay now look at the bottom barrel…Whats missing??? That’s right the other choke tube is not there!! Skeet is a shooting sport that requires two quick shots at most every station, there called doubles. You need a gun like an over under shotgun, semi-auto and I have seen a few use a pump shotgun but for most its takes too long to cycle the second shell the target is too fast. The photo shows the president shooting an over under shotgun but there is no choke on the lower barrel!! He would be crazy to try and shoot skeet with this gun, I’m calling B.S. on this one!! It’s a total FAKE!!

I use PhotoShop in my job and I could do it but it is time consuming for me and it would be without compensation. I just really do not have the time to do it but that may not stop you if you could find the time. Really great idea! Or, put in soemthing that looks like the 23 executive orders even. Just a thought…

Posted on February 2, 2013 at 5:18pmSkeet shooting I’ve done was never parallel to ground unless you let the clay pigeon almost hit the ground The idea is to aim up like shooting a bird, just in case someone or animal is on the ground anywhere near that area. Maybe he was ‘skeet’ shooting a target on the ground? hmmmm? photo shop pulling trigger?

I think the Post’s point is this maybe the only time he’s ever fired a gun…therefore the need to record it for posterity (for when guns magically don’t exist someday….I’ll have my phased plasma cannon with a 40 watt range by then).

The only time a shotgun is discharge horigintally is when
1) You are shooting at a target
2) You are shooting at game
3) You are posing for a picture
If he knew anything, he would know this.
In shooting skeet, you set horizontally, call pull and then shoot up towards the lauched pigeon. I mentioned this in the other story and I’ll mention it here.
Plouffes ‘skeeter birther’ comment was a command to the left to attack all who will call out this obviosly bogus photo. SO3 is heeding Plouffes command.

I took a straight edge and set a line between the front and rear sights. The line goes above Obama’s eyes. This means he was looking down and probably had his eyes shut. I would guess he is afraid of the gun.

Very rare, only know of one gun type that has this which is a 12 Gauge Browning Citori Grand Prix Sporter Over/Under Shotgun 30″ Ported Barrel (trap shotgun, not a shorter skeet shooting shotgun). Obama is left handed so shooting correctly. Wanted to determine if this photo was photoshopped.

Posted on February 2, 2013 at 3:12pmNot an ounce of recoil showing at this point of the shot??? His cheek on the stock isn’t the slightest bit distorted. Try shooting a shotgun with the stock that high on the shoulder, and your cheek pressed onto the stock like that, and see what happens, even with a light load. He might have been holding the shotgun, but the smoke of a shot being taken was definitely added later… I have no idea what kind of power would make that kind of smoke… If my shotgun smoked like that I think I’d turn it in to the EPA myself!
And by the way, he is NOT standing on the skeet range at Camp David. There is no position on that range that has a road next to it (and trees behind) as depicted in the photo. See Google maps (Camp David, MD) satellite view. The skeet range is the semi-circle at the southwest corner (lower left) of the property. Notice the area behind and around the shooting positions…

Posted on February 3, 2013 at 2:39amThe less than lethal bean bag rounds used by law enforcement have Black Powder propellant and smoke like that. They also don’t recoil very much. If he really wanted to look “manly”, he could ride over to the Air Force Base and get the CATM (small arms instructors) to photograph him pounding some 00-Buck rounds through an old 870 pump. Three boxes of those will tune up your stance

I am sure they had to weed through thousands of pictures of him shooting skeet to find this perfect one.

But it appears the Pravda media is falling all over itself trying to dig up any form of evidence that can back up his claim. They trotted out an obvious fake last week and now have offered this image up. Of course people are going to pick out every flaw in it. Are you not concerned that the White House and it’s accomplices in the “media” are constantly lying?

Posted on February 2, 2013 at 3:03pmHis grip is completely wrong on the barrel and trigger plus the way he has braced the stock up on his shoulder. Now he may have fired it once for a photo pic, but I have used shotguns for hunting small game and this screams “Fraud” at me.
If this has not been photo shopped then he only fired it once in his life. And with the way the shotgun is braced, he would be feeling it for some time with a nice bruise on his left shoulder.

Posted on February 2, 2013 at 4:12pmWhen I was young, I worked at a Skeet Range. Tax payers paid a lot of money for that Range at Camp David. Why was he firing in a what apears to be a polo shirt. He’s the President, Where was his firing vest with the extra padding?? Unless we don’t care if he gets hurt. Honesty is not the best policy for those handling the President. I feel sorry for the President. He does’nt have a clue to how helpless he really is.
