Washington Post Fact Checker Responds to Obama Skeet Shooting Pic: Does Not Quite Answer the Questions...

The White House’s release of a photo of President Barack Obama shooting clay pigeons has yet to fully satisfy the Washington Post’s fact-checker.

The Post was left doubtful earlier this week about Obama’s “all the time” skeet shooting claim. Turns out they’re still dubious:

The White House released this photograph of the president at the Camp David skeet range on Aug. 4, 2012. We are pleased the White House has become more forthcoming about this matter, though it does not quite answer the questions concerning the president’s “all the time” language.

Don’t get me wrong, I believe the pic is a fake, 100%.
But all this speculation about the angle of the gun is wrong.
Sporting clays come out of the hut and arc across your field of vision.
They start at the height of the thrower but gravity is in full play.
If you don’t take your shot early, you are definitely tracking the clay through the arc and eventually shooting at eye level or below.
This would be especially true for the inexperienced shooter who does not know enough to lead the target.

The photo tells us TWO things about obama. First, he’s so far left, he’s even LEFT handed! Second, he blows smoke out of both sides of his mouth, just like his shotgun!

The photo is not an endorsement of the 2d amendment. It is a photo that shows that when Obama passes “gun control” laws, that the laws will pertain to the public only. President Obama and the Congress will exempt themselves (just like they did with ObamaCare) from “gun control” laws.

I have never went “skeet” shooting. However, what I have seen on T.V. is that when the release the “skeet” you hit them while they are at their highest point in the sky. The photo shows Obama shooting straight ahead. Is he so much for “gun control” that he hates the person releasing the “skeet” and is Obama trying to shoot them? I believe the photo was released to show that when Obama tries to pass his “gun control laws” (that will take away some of our liberties – that he can say “I know what I’m doing because I shoot”!

Horrible form, for sure! Only an idiot would believe that Obama skeet shots! Knowing how the man/child has conducted himself over the last four years, of course this photo was taken just for a photo op, to try and make the “idiots” think Obama is just “one of the guys”! And yes, his supporters will fall for it, since the majority of them cannot even point out states or countries on a map and most likely don’t even know the capital of their state, much less know anything about our Constitution or Bill of Rights. There really should be an “Intelligence Test” for people before they are allowed to vote! Obama would lose 99% of his voters if there were!

B Niel; Right on. Skeet ranges have “skeet houses’ from where the clay birds are thrown. Many times tie “bird” will fly directly overhead and you don’t know which house is going to throw, or where. This probably isn’t the best explanation, but anyone whose ever been to a skeet range. you know what I.m trying to say..

At phone shoot taking many picture and picking the best one would be normal. I figure after the first shot his left arm hurt so bad he quit. Low pain tolerance.
