Feminist Icon Gloria Steinem Calls on Texans to ‘Dis-Elect’ ‘Authoritarian…Dictatorial, Unacceptable American’ Rick Perry

Feminist icon and activist Gloria Steinem doesn’t much care for Texas Gov. Rick Perry.

“He personally will go down in history as an authoritarian — a dictatorial, unacceptable American,” the 78-year-old Steinem told the Fort Worth Star-Telegram on Friday.

She said the Republican governor and former presidential candidate has made a lasting mark by overseeing recent efforts to have Planned Parenthood funding cut off in the state.

Women are “suffering from the lack of healthcare” because of Perry’s actions and the federal dollars lost to Texas because of him, Steinem added.

She told the newspaper Texans should “dis-elect him, get rid of him, get rid of the guy.”

“Can’t you impeach him?” she asked.

It’s not the first time Steinem has criticized Perry — in 2011, she referred to him, Sarah Palin and Michele Bachmann all as “people our founders came to this country to escape.”

I doubt Steinem lives in Texas, so she has no business badmouthing our governor. But then, she’s full of looney ideas.

And, if she wants to get rid of dictatorial executives, let’s start with the one in the White House.

FEMINIST!!! A group of women who champion women’s equality but do not want them to be in the senate, vice president or President’s office. These Feminist waged a war on the women running against men in past elections that Conservative Women ran against Liberal Men. Since then our country has been on a downward spiral. Governor Perry has kept The Great State of Texas at the top of the food chain. No other State Compares. So I see her point. She can not let Texas with a conservative Government be on top. Texas needs a Liberal government to bring it down so that Mr.Steinem will be relevant.
Feminist groups are not for empowering women. They are for a liberal agenda that’s all. If you are a woman and are empowered by yourself and work hard and earn your way then Mr. Steinsem has no need for you. If your weak , stupid, and would sell yourself as toys for Liberals to take advantage of. Well Mr. Steinsem has a office waiting.

Gloria… I think you are confused… you didnt describe Governor Perry… you just described Barack Obama. And it is Barack Obama that needs to be voted out of office for ruining this country. Unlike Obama and his abyssmal nationwide economic failures, Perry has governed Texas during a horrendous federal recession into tremendous growth and prosperity. Nice try Gloria

Texas is the prize that the Marxists want to win. They think the war on “real women” by the femanatzis and the Dems will deliver it to them. They need to make “girly men” out of men and “manly women” out of women. They have stepped up their game in the military, and this country will be indefensible soon. The women who can’t be turned are being herded into the slut coral and will be useless for anything else. They have all the tools; media, entertainment, government.

Texas has three of the fastest growing cities in the United States and it has a big problem with what to do with a several billion dollar surplus. It’s not about to go bankrupt like New York, Illnois, or California, but that doesn’t matter to this socialist/commie. Gloria, don’t tell us to get rid of Rick Perry, that could be taken the wrong way.

I never thought I’d be agreeing with this jewess on anything, but I must agree that Rick Perry is a louse. Anybody who thinks that the children of illegal aliens should pay in-state tuition but people from, say Oaklahoma or Arkansas must pay exorbitant out-of-state tuition, should be kicked out of both Texas and out of America.

If you feel that strongly about it Gloria then you need to stop talking and start doing. Nothing is stopping you from running for governor of the State of Texas.

Then you’ll have many opportunities to give your point of view to the people of Texas, and so will whoever else is running. If the people of Texas agree with you then you’ll be the next governor and you and the legislature can make the changes you need. If not, well then maybe you need to re-think things.
