Jesse Jackson Wants Homeland Security to Patrol Streets of Chicago

Rev. Jesse Jackson on Saturday called for the Department of Homeland Security to help patrol the streets of Chicago to deal with soaring gun violence in the city and for President Barack Obama to come and personally address the issue.

Jackson was holding a rally and march in honor of Hadiya Pendleton, the sophomore honors student shot dead in a local park days after performing at Obama’s second inauguration.

Jackson said Chicago needs more help than either Mayor Rahm Emanuel or police superintendent Garry McCarthy can provide, Reuters reported, and called for Obama to return to his hometown.

“When the president shows up, it shows ultimate national seriousness,” Jackson, a Chicago resident, said.

Jackson first called for “immediate federal intervention and Homeland Security in Chicago” Friday after homicide totals surpassed 45 for the month of January alone.

Jackson has been a proponent of new gun control measures, saying last month that “semi-automatic” and “assault weapons” need to be banned because they pose threats to national security with the capability to “shoot down planes.”

I know how it works in these situations where nobody sees a damn thing. America in general is scared out there minds to even call anonymous tip lines because they don’t trust that law enforcement has something to do with the drugs, violence, sex trade and gun running. I don’t blame them. Just watch the evening news or read the paper. Dollas Dollas baby! In other words human beings suck!!! LOOK AT THE LINKS BELOW and that is just in Texas.

  The violence keeps getting worse and worse in EVERY black urban area of the country. It isn’t just Chicago.
  
  Indianapolis is having so many flash mob beatings, assaults, maimings and murders, it is requiring a police presence in numbers never before seen. Cincinnati, Atlanta, New York City, Houston, Pittsburgh, Philadelphia, Camden, Newark, Stockton, Barstow, Los Angeles, on and on and on it goes, each area getting more violent as time goes on.
  
  Eventually the National Guard will be called out, as requested by city leaders in New Orleans, and Chicago will have to do the same, as Jackson is now requesting.
  
  As more illegals are given amnesty, they will be taking more jobs from blacks, causing black unemployment to reach stratospheric proportions, up from the 14% it is now….and climbing.
  
  Out-of-wedlock births will get even greater than its present 70%. More unemployed blacks will mean even more black crime. The black family unit will barely exist, and school drop outs will dramatically increase. Drugs and drug gangs with connections to the Mexican cartels will flourish. The black prison and jail population will skyrocket to surprising heights.
  
  And all of that doesn’t factor in the continuing economic deterioration and job losses.
  
  Why there are still a few people who think we will avoid CWII is a mystery to me.

  Someone needs to tell Jessie that Chicago has to get in line behind D.C & Detroit. Homeland Security won’t even go out in the street of Detroit after dark. Shucks some gangs are afraid to go out.   I don’t normally agree with Mr. Jackson, but at least he is acknowledging the problem. I hope he would address root causes of inner-city violence and not attack our 2nd amendment.
  
  The problem is with the people: What makes many of these people violent and want to kill their neighbor?

  I too, disagree with JJ on plenty of issues, but not this one. I’ve told friends for 20+ yrs that, if I were the IL Gov., I’d have the Nat’l Guard on every corner on the So. side. Poor, law-abiding people deserve, ‘homeland security’ too. I’m sick and tired of large pockets of chaos and lawlessness in major American cities.

  Rahm Emmanuel would never let a crisis go to waste. He could request Homeland Security to cordon off the most violent part of South Chicago. The TSA could place checkpoints to search everybody coming into or out of the area for weapons. Every building in the area could be searched for illegal weapons.
  
  The violence could spread to other minority areas and there could be widespread arson and looting. This would give Obama an opportunity to suspend the U.S. Constitution and declare martial law. The law-abiding citizens that attempt to protect their property can be shipped off to FEMA re-education centers.

What Jackson’s unwittingly advocating is slavery to the state,ironic for a black man huh? Jackson should stick to what he’s good at,shaking down business owners for millions. If we were to listen to Jackson a totalitarian state would quickly take shape here but he’s so ignorant he doesn’t realize it or if he does and welcomes it that would be worse. We need to take the offensive on defending our second amendment right and demand that all ‘gun laws’ created since the second amendment be abolished because every one of them violate the second amendment. I don’t care if the SCOTUS has ruled them constitutional the SCOTUS didn’t give us that right or any right for that matter so they can’t rule if the law is constitutional or not.

  Dear Leader is certainly working toward that. He’s releasing senoir patriot military officers. That’s the reason he questions them regarding civilian intereference.
  I think his civilian army has it’s begining in DHS, HHS, TSA and even the IRS. Remember, the IRS has also been given unusual power to enforce HHS regs.
  But, take heart. I know for a fact we have thousands upon thousands of patriots in the military and certain government alphebets. Obie’s enforcers will likely be dumba**es in TSA–lower educated folk who know little if anything about the Constitution. The majority are lemmings on a power trip.   P.S. – Those that know your ‘story’ of being at the side of Dr. King as he was shot know the story of how his blood found it’s way onto to shirt.
  
  - You in fact DID NOT cradle Martin Luther King in your arms.
  - You WERE NOT up on the balcony on that fateful day.
  - You WERE in the picture up on the balcony with Martin Luther King. BUT that picture was taken the day before. It was a publicity shot.
  - You WERE down in the parking lot talking to a bunch of musicians – Ben Branch and others. celebrating a little after winning a recent court case giving them more opportunities to march in the parking lot
  - When the shots rang out , you fled and hid behind the swimming pool area.
  - You DID reappeared 20-30 minutes later when the television cameras arrived on the scene.
  - You DID tell Southern Christian Leadership Conference staffers, “Don’t you talk to the press whatever you do.”
  - It was a mess for a few seconds with the police running in the wrong direction trying to find the suspect and with MLK’s friends running up to take care of Martin Luther King in his last moments.
  - You DID go upstairs and placed your hands in the pool of blood and smeared it on his shirt.
  - You DO have an “entrepreneurial instinct” and took advantage of the moment.
  - At the time you were a nobody and had no opportunities…

If the DHS starts patrolling even one street in even one city in America it is over for this country. It would expand to another city and then another then another.

This is just more in the assault on America by the antiAmerica, gun grabbing communist crowd that infest this once great country.

  Thank you for the links FREEBERTY. Have you ever checked out the Martial Law enforcement and gun confiscation in New Orleans after Katrina? By the way, my eyes are so wide open it is hard to close them even to sleep. Americans have never been in as much danger as we are now in and the danger is coming from our own government.

  fyi, they did in Joplin after the tornado, govna jay nixon didnt waste a moment asking for help from big sis,the feds jackbooted in and made misery. I will say we needed help from the Missouri Guard and they were on the scene before the tornado was gone, last member left last week- thank you to all who have helped and there is still work to be done.,,,

Step one: Create or use a crisis to create a solution for a problem. The solution must involve an increase in the power of the state. Assure everyone that the solution is temporary. Imply that things will only get worse if the solution isn’t implemented.
Step two: After frightening the people they beg for implementation of the solution. Implement while again assuring the people the solution is only temporary.
Step three: Extend the solution to other hot spots. Tell the people that the solution is now permanent.
Step four: Sit back with a cold brew and a cigar. Congratulate yourself on tricking the masses so easily.

  Because the solution is abhorrent to the majority of citizens, have a shill who you claim represents the majority of the people involved claim that the people demand the plan to be implemented. Then use the sycophants in the mass media to claim that this is what the vast majority of the people want, and that anyone who disagrees with the plan is either stupid or evil.

  We forget easily all of the acronyms assembled in NO during Katrina, and the platoons from the 82nd doing patrols with 2 loaded mags each. They rounded up guns then “for the greater good” and by then most of the hardcore thugs were already in Houston, with half of the NO PD. Increments, a thousand cuts.

I can’t believe these people. Hey, Jackson! Why don’t you implement some gun control measures in Chicago! That’ll help things right? I’m not big on name calling, but this guy is an idiot.
If criminals knew they’d be up against armed victims, violence would decrease. Either through the common sense of the criminals, or through attrition. Either way, more guns equals less crime.
