Jesse Jackson Wants Homeland Security to Patrol Streets of Chicago

Rev. Jesse Jackson on Saturday called for the Department of Homeland Security to help patrol the streets of Chicago to deal with soaring gun violence in the city and for President Barack Obama to come and personally address the issue.

Jackson was holding a rally and march in honor of Hadiya Pendleton, the sophomore honors student shot dead in a local park days after performing at Obama’s second inauguration.

Jackson said Chicago needs more help than either Mayor Rahm Emanuel or police superintendent Garry McCarthy can provide, Reuters reported, and called for Obama to return to his hometown.

“When the president shows up, it shows ultimate national seriousness,” Jackson, a Chicago resident, said.

Jackson first called for “immediate federal intervention and Homeland Security in Chicago” Friday after homicide totals surpassed 45 for the month of January alone.

Jackson has been a proponent of new gun control measures, saying last month that “semi-automatic” and “assault weapons” need to be banned because they pose threats to national security with the capability to “shoot down planes.”

he started his rules for radicals in Chicago. Then we have Bill Ayers, a domestic terrorist and a university educational of our youth. Next Jeremiah Wrights of God Damn America fame. And of course Rev. Jackson ministered the youth of Chicago in his church in Chicago. Mayor Rahm

This is a setup. The reason is to get everyone acclimated to the idea of DHS in our cities by floating this controversial idea and talking about it. Before long there will be passive acceptance by the low information voter which is most of them in Chicago. To stop it, we need a congressman to insert a clause in a bill that says this cannot come to pass etc.

I have a better idea. How about educating the people about a family structure. You one with a father, mother and children. How about educating the males not to produce multiple children with multiple woman. How about teaching them personal responsibility and not to depend upon the government for everything. How about teaching them to take the blame for their mistakes and not to blame someone else. How about teaching them that although the President is black he is not one of them and is not looking out for their welfare. Patrols and taking guns away from law-abiding citizens is NOT the solution.
