Soros: Obama Trying to Split the Republican Party & Push the Tea Party Out Into the Wilderness

AP

George Soros said he thinks President Barack Obama is trying to divide the Republican Party and split off the Tea Party “extremists” — something that if successful, would restore the balance of the two-party system.

“I think Obama is trying to split the Republican Party between the Tea Party and the establishment,” the billionaire investor and self-described “bleeding heart liberal” told a group of reporters at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland on Jan. 24.

Soros said he believes it’s possible, particularly if the Tea Party continues down its “unsustainable” track.

“If the Tea Party gets pushed out into the wilderness then actually I am very optimistic that there is a chance that the two-party system in America…will actually start functioning again,” he said. “Then you will have two parties, each of which tries to capture the middle. It is the way the two-party system works, which was distorted by extremists who fractured the Republican Party carrying it far to the right.”

The middle as defined by whom, Mr. Soros? The Left? I’m pretty much middle ground, I think, but I have no desire for your definition of ‘middle’.

What ever happened to President Putin of Russia who put out an international arrest for George Soros in 2012 for trying to destroy their economy. Soros, Rockfellers, and Bilderberg’s brought Russia to bankrupsy and now Russia is going after them. I hope.

For once in his life Soros didn’t lie about something. I think that he’s getting a bit upset that his huge investment in Obama hasn’t paid off.

Hopefully he tries to do something about it, he has enough money to make Obama’s life very miserable. He also has the connections to pull it off.

We all know that Obama want’s to be the supreme reuler, they call it a monarchy, all hale king Obama is what he want’s to hear.

Hopefully Soros is mad enough to play the game.

Considering Geraldo voted for Obama why does he not join the Democratic Party? He is another Progressive Republican who if elected into office would vote along with the Democrats. Conservative Republicans would be in the minority. The plan is brilliant. A one-party system deceptively disguised as two. Again … Conservatives must establish another party with a firm positions on the issues. Vetted Conservatives candidates run agains Progressive Republicans and be represented in both the Congress and the Senate in 2014. A Conservative must be in the Presidential running in 2016.

He no more hopes for or pines for the return to a “two party” system anymore than Hitler favored a Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor—What he and his puppet are vying for is a party that is opposition in name only— Soros and the New World Government support a two party system as long as their opposition is a party full of left leaning Rhino’s — Why can’t he and the rest of us just admit that— None of them care about the Republic. I don’t trust the republicans anymore, and I’d rather not vote for someone who will fed on their own. And even though I have never attending a meeting, nor given money to anyone who said they were tea party, and couldn’t tell you the requirements to be part of the party, I agree with more of them, than I agree the those in charge of the republicans.

That’s the beauty of it…there are no requirements to be part of the Tea Party. Just believe in smaller government, personal responsibility and the Constitution, as written, and YOU are a Tea Party person. No meetings are necessary, no money to support a party infrastructure. Just American principles. You look for candidates who support and defend those principles and you give them as much money and help as you can to get them elected. Then, you bug them every week with a phone call reminding them that you’re watching.

      Nature abhors a vacuum.

The Republican party can be hijacked. It can be driven to irrelevance & extinction by 5th columnists, political advisors, campaign managers & don’t rock the boat pols.

But just as the Whigs disintegrated in the generation prior to the civil War, so to shall something arise to replace the Republican party.

Besides Obama is not going to smell like roses. Defense spending dropped 22% in 4th quarter of 2012. That will ripple thru the economy. It will mean less spending & layoffs. The next 6 to 12 months will not be kind to the Democrat Party. Karma is a biatch.

The sad failure of the Republican party is that they have believed for over 20 years that the way to get the “middle” voters is to change policies and become more like the Democrats. Instead, they should learn how to communicate conservatism so that they middle agrees with them.
