Want to See the ‘Dunder Mifflin’ Super Bowl Ad That Only Aired on One TV Station?

The appropriate answer is, of course, “Yes.”

Enjoy:

For those of you who aren’t familiar with the brand, “Dunder Mifflin” is a fictitious Scranton-based paper company used in the NBC comedy “The Office.” The show has become popular enough that Quill Corporation, a subsidiary of Staples Inc., actually sells products, including notepads, sticky notes, permanent markers, storage boxes, etc., based on the “Dunder Mifflin” brand.

The above video was the winning entry in Quill’s Super Bowl ad contest and ran on only one station, a CBS affiliate in the Scranton-Wilkes Barre area, which is a total shame because it’s much more creative than a lot of last night’s Super Bowl ads (for instance).

    This just in:
In response to the Dunder Mifflin Superbowl ad depicting workplace violence involving paper products, Barack Obama appointed Joe Biden to study high capacity magazines, HP printers, restroom stalls and universal backass checks.

The president will also investigate the purported mistreatment of young felines.

I quit watching The Office after too much left-wing propaganda, usually spewed by the Hispanic homosexual character Oscar.

Although I don’t care for The Office, I did think the commercial was funny along with many of the other Super ‘Bowel’ ads. I think Paul Harvey’s was the best.

GREAT post from WOODYEE. I saved those links and will email them to everyone I know.

The NFL and Superbowl in particular show everything that’s wrong with Amerika in a nutshell. The NFL are supposed to be a bunch of tough football players on the gridiron who spout the virtues of gay marriage, gun control, and other leftist goals. Then it’s all summed up in the Superbowl where it’s corporatism at it’s worse. People actually watch the Superbowl to see the corporate ads, just like sheep. These huge, evil mega corporations that try to get you to part with your wallet in a process called a TV commercial. Corporatism is not capitalism. Capitalism is all about competition, corporatism is all about one company gobbling up smaller companies through consolidation and thus, lowering competition. No wonder the US is hated so much by other countries.

The Dodge ad featuring Paul Harvey and the story of God creating the hard working, responsible, caring man called a farmer was by far the best ad. I found it to be inspiring.

God created Adam the Landscaper and gave him a free Garden to eat from. When Adam the Landscaper broke the Law and stole from God, his punishment was he was booted from that Garden and served a life sentence as a farmer.

“Dunder Mifflin” sounds like poor feminine hygeine.

THAT was funny! I loved the reaction of the cat at the end! The only standout (for me) during the Superbowl, was the one with Paul Harvey’s voice over.

You (Loyal American) young-uns ought to listen to him here in “If I Were The Devil” from about 1965 – VERY PROPHETIC, because Left Wing politics has a history which is easily accessible and quite repetitive – https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZaGVCO6CByQ

another good one to listen to (while you’re at it) is comedic Red Skelton reciting the Pledge of Allegiance, here – https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TZBTyTWOZCM

That’ll bring you to tears. The rest of the commercials during the Superbowl were droll, excepting the emotional ones, and I’m not tuning in to the Superbowl for emotional commercials, because I’m getting all the emotion I want from THE GAME!!!

Bring back the HUMOR, NFL!!! And Thank You, for leaving politics and gay-ness out of it!!!

Okay, that was cool, but I really did like three real commercials for the game, The M&M, and Leon Sandcastle where a couple of the funniest. Note the Red M&M wanted nothing to do with that Piñata’s rear entry. The Dodge Truck ad was the best for a serious situation.
