ICE Union Boss Blasts Obama Admin. for Making U.S. Immigration Law ‘Essentially’ Unenforceable

ICE Union Boss: Obama Administration Cares More About Special Interest Groups Than the Lives of ICE Agents

President Barack Obama and his administration appear to care about satisfying “special interest groups” within the Democratic base more than protecting the lives of Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officers, the ICE union boss told lawmakers Tuesday.

“Internally, the agency, in my opinion is falling apart. Morale is at an all-time low, according to recent federal surveys. The agency refuses to train our officers on these new policies, resulting in mass confusion and frustration… nobody really knows what’s going on,” Chris Crane, president the National Immigration and Customs Enforcement Council, told the House Judiciary Committee.

He went on: “As our officers are investigated by ICE for enforcing U.S. immigration law as they see other officers threatened with suspensions for lawful arrests, increasingly officers feel they have become the enemy of this administration.”

Crane said ICE agents have been “essentially prohibited” from enforcing U.S. immigration law. He said agents are unable to arrest illegal aliens who are in the country illegally or immigrants who have overstayed their visas. “It’s basically not illegal anymore, generally speaking, not unless the alien has been convicted of a criminal offense.”

He said ICE agents are being forced to accept any illegal alien’s claim as to whether he or she graduated or is attending high school or college, thus qualifying them for Obama’s “deferred action for childhood arrivals” (DACA) privileges. Agents are “powerless” in requiring illegal aliens to prove they actually qualify.

“Death or serious injury to ICE officers and agents appears more acceptable to ICE, DHS, and Administration leadership, than the public complaints that would be lodged by special interest groups representing illegal aliens,” Crane said, according to a report by the Washington Examiner.

Several ICE agents have filed a lawsuit against the Obama administration over policies that prevent immigration officials from enforcing federal immigration law.

As long as ICE and the Border Patrol are not allowed to do their jobs why not just lay them off until the govt finally decides to protect our borders. The money we save will decrease the deficit.

But there is nothing for these officers to enforce. Haven’t you heard? There ARE NO ILLEGAL aliens or immigrants. Only “Out of Status Americans”.

Pretty ironic that a UNION boss is upset at the most Pro-Union Prez in history. I don’t care if he says he’s not in the unions’ pockets, he sure as heck is. It’s very unfortunate that our brothers and sisters are trying to enforce the law and keep us safe here, when our Commander-in-Chief seems to be doing everything he can to stop them. I thought the purpose of the Executive (note the root word: EXECUTE) Branch’s job was to ENFORCE THE LAWS.

federal employees beware… unless your union leaders fall in line with the administration, they face a harder road to compromise and stand up for you then if they were dealing with Republicans…

and if they fall in line and mouth the lies that the administration wants, they aren’t protecting you any longer.

I am not knocking the FBI in the sad case in Alabama with the 5 year old child ,
But I have one question : Why are the authorities using Budget trucks fully equipped. ( The troops sure appeared to know how to use them) to deal with this? There are a number of videos that show FBI, and other agencies etc. troops? using said trucks. Is there a story behind this?

This country is split nearly in half. You have the corrupt people like bammy and you have the rest of us. Obammy wants to kills us from the air and it’s ok, he will just say “he was a terrorist and I have the right. I suspect that if he continues to act like king kenya there will be a civil war in this country. bammy doesnt want one until TSA is larger than the army which he is downsizing at this time, when that finally occurs, it’s them against us. It’s coming!
