Liberal News Site Releases Video Mocking NRA’s ‘Anti-Gun Celebrities List’
The National Rifle Association (NRA) has come in for a great deal of criticism in light of its recent actions regarding the shooting in Newtown, Connecticut. Now, that criticism has turned to mockery.
The Left-leaning news site The Daily Beast has produced a video highlighting the NRA’s list of anti-gun celebrities, a subject that frequently comes up during debates over gun rights. However, The Daily Beast has chosen to outright parody the very concept by cobbling together every clip of the various Hollywood stars represented on the list wielding guns.
“The NRA keeps a list of ‘anti-gun celebrites,’” the ad begins. “But watch out! They’re armed!”
Some of the celebrities represented include Meryl Streep, Dustin Hoffman, Billy Crystal, Jack Nicholson, Jodie Foster and Sylvester Stallone.
Does the humor work? You can watch the clip below and decide for yourself:
In CONTROL, Glenn Beck presents a passionate, fact-based case for guns that reveals why gun control isnβt really about controlling guns at all; itβs about controlling us. Find out more HERE.

Posted on February 5, 2013 at 7:52pmThese lists give freedom loving Americans an easy guide in order to deny material support to those who work against us.
Very good precedent, and really a website needs be created for that purpose, especially companies or organizations to look out for.
The best thing is to deny Hollywood or Network television a dime of your money if at all possible. Start actually doing something productive instead of staring at their garbage.
I have cable internet only, and it has been so for years now.

If you mean protect yourself and your family from criminals then Ok, but that isn’t exactly the same thing.
Denying these people your money is something that works though.

You have to be specific as we have Criminals running our government. I don’t think the NRA has advocated using armed force against them in a direct statement as far as I can recall.

Posted on February 5, 2013 at 3:16pmCheck out the NRA enemies list! It’s awesome: http://nraila.org/Issues/FactSheets/Read.aspx?ID=15
Here are just a few enemies: AARP, American Academy of Pediatrics, American Association for the Surgery of Trauma, American Medical Association, American Bar Association, American Firearms Association, American Jewish Committee, American Jewish Congress, Anti-Defamation League, National Council of Jewish Women, Union of American Hebrew Congregations, United States Catholic Conference, United Methodist Church, and so on.
The NRA seems a bit down on Jews and other faiths, but I’m sure just those faiths who preach against violence. I noticed they don’t seem to have a problem with Muslim groups.
You’ll also find Barry Manilow, and Ben and Jerrie’s ice cream. Britany Spears too. Check it out. You may be an NRA enemy too!

$$$$$$$$$$$$$. Sigourney Weaver- BIG anti-gun nut- was able to overcome her disdain for guns when hired for the Alien movies.

Posted on February 5, 2013 at 10:45amHmmmm. Confusing.
I guess the video was mostly showing stumbling, silly, scared characters with gun.
Their point: yeah!, Oh boy, you should be scared (mock) of these people!
But in this current political climate, wouldn’t a lib be upset even when guns are “trivialised.” In fact, that makes them MORE dangerous because they are not taken seriously for the deadly weapons they are.
I agree with what someone else said- If I didn’t know this was pro-lib, I would have still thought this was mocking them instead of supporting them.
Fail.

Posted on February 5, 2013 at 9:04amCome on folks there are many of these people that are too important to be gunned down like John Lennon. They have to have armed body guards to protect them, are they wouldn’t be able to make public appearances. Look at Mayor Bloomburg who is against guns but has to have 4 armed body guards to protect him from all the little people that want his $$ billions. All these movie stars keep the economy going when they buy their Bengtlys, Jags, Corvetts, Shelby Mutangs, Furr coats, mansions, etc. The little people are a dime a dozen and run up health care cost when they get on Medicare .

Posted on February 5, 2013 at 8:33amDoesn’t this ad prove the NRA’s point? It’s OK to glorify guns, but only if you’re making money.
It would be like Bill Clinton being an advocate for fidelity in marriage.(How many rape allegations)?
Or, if Ted Kennedy was an advocate for alcohol free drinks.(Family money came from bootleg alcohol)
Or, if Gov. Eliot Spitzer prosecuted prostitutes and johns. Oh, wait. He did……………………..
So I guess for liberals anything is OK if they do it, but not for me.

If you’re going to fight the EVIL of the Left, you have to be relentless, ruthless and show no quarter when you have them backed into a corner; EVIL deserves no less.

Posted on February 5, 2013 at 8:10amJune 2005, Supreme Court stated that IT IS NOT THE POLICE OFFICERS JOB TO PROTECT THE INDIVIDUAL. The current flood of Gun Control legislation intends to restrict the size of the magazines civilians can legally own and outlaw so called βAssault Riflesβ. Police carry guns for THEIR OWN protection not ours. It is obvious that police officers are more important than the civilians that EMPLOY THEM since we are not going to be allowed to carry the same type of guns and magazines they will carry.
The current morons in office somehow have come to the conclusion that cops, security and federal employees are confronted by totally different criminals and these criminals are a greater danger then any criminal the average civilian would encounter. The Department of Homeland Security is seeking to acquire 7,000 5.56x45mm NATO βpersonal defense weaponsβ (PDW) β also known as βassault weaponsβ when owned by civilians
Keep in mind that these morons in federal, state and local office that are attempting to restrict your ability to protect yourself and family WORK FOR US. As your EMPLOYEES the believe THEY are of greater value then US , their EMPLOYER, by allowing their security and police to carry guns they deem unnecessary for civilians to own.
