Representative John Conyers (D-Mich.) was speaking at a hearing on immigration policy held by the House Judiciary Committee Tuesday when he expressed his hope that “no one” in his company would use the term “illegal immigrant.”
“I hope no one uses the term ‘illegal immigrants’ here today. Our citizens are not–” he said, breaking off to correct himself. “Our, the people in this country are not illegal. They are out of status. They are new Americans that are immigrants, and I think that we can forge a path to citizenship that will be able to pass muster.”
Conyers is the ranking Democrat on the House Judiciary Committee.

For those who don’t recall, Conyers is the same representative who mocked those who ask elected officials to actually read the bills they sign into law for the rest of the nation.
“I love these members, they get up and say, ‘Read the bill,” he said. “What good is reading the bill if it’s 1,000 pages, and you don’t have two days and two lawyers to find out what it means after you read the bill?”
Conyers is currently serving his 24th term in Congress. First elected in 1965, he is the second most senior member of the House of Representatives.

Let’s see — they are here in violation of Federal law, therefore, they are *illegal* immigrants or, if you like it better, illegal aliens.
They didn’t just magically appear in this country and then, “Well, whadda ya know? They are just not *in* status, they are *out of* status, no fault of theirs at all, it’s the damn law that’s the problem!” Yeah, that isn’t even remotely what has occurred.
They came here, knowing full well they were here in violation of the law, and the law has consequences if the freakin’ Executive branch would do its job and actually enforce the freakin’ laws!

So let me get this straight. If I don’t have a driver’s license or I have a suspended license and I decide to drive, then I’m not illegally driving, I’m just driving out of status.
Or if I don’t obtain a gun permit, and I decide to obtain a gun, I’m not in illegal possession of an illegal firearm but I’m in possession of a firearm that is out of status…
I’ll have to remember that the next time I’m caught speeding. “No officer, I wasn’t speeding. My vehicle speed was simply out of status.”

2) The “Obama Dems” have gotten away with murder of our Constitution by one SIMPLE trick – Changing up the wording, and demonize those who don’t agree with the “updated wording”. Can’t our “elected officials” figure that out after four years of being railroaded??
3) Illegal is Illegal period. Simply changing the wording to “status” does not make a wrong – right! If this is the case then it applies to every murderer, rapist, criminal, and Congress member in the Country. How about Senate Dems are “Not of intelligence” – not just “Stupid as hell”.
4) This VERY old man is the reason we are having the problems we do. These people have used politics as their lifetime job, and after just a few short years EVERY member of Congress and Senate is subject to corruption because of simply being “human”. After so many years (or months in most cases) old farts like this are blasted from all sides by lobbyists offering them money, homes, etc.. It’s obvious this guy needs to step down or be elected out simply because he has been compromised.
5) (Goes back to 3) If you sneak in to the Fed. Reserve building it’s called Breaking & Entering, which is “ILLEGAL”. Gov. Court is NOT going to let you walk if your Lawyer pleads that you are simply “out of status”. GET IT MORON?!

Has anyone heard our service men are not getting 3 meals a day, they need socks, stephascopes, water purification pills or filters, electric razor to shave the dogs when they are injured. They have only one pair or none of socks and say the water taste like urine and poop.. I heard this from two callers. One on Sean Hannity and the other on Glenn Beck. Trying to get donations..and I am sending box with stephascope and girlscout cookies etc.. Can someone please get these radio hosts to tell us where to send or who to contact……P L E A S E someone our soldiers need us and we need them to stay healthy etc??????????????????/??/?

Good grief! We need to have an IQ test or at the very least a literacy/competency test before we allow someone on the ballot. To many people of very low intelligence and substandard knowledge are now in a position in our government to confiscate our hard work, incarcerate or murder us for their “suspicions” and in general ruin our lives for their kicks. I remember a months ago I flipped the channel over to C-Span and got in on some kind of committee hearing with another democrat congressman who will remain unnamed but is so old and has been in Congress so.o.o.o.o.o. long that he was actually eating a tuna or egg salad sandwich while he was asking some incoherent questions. He actually was spitting this sandwich material on a fellow congressman next him. I felt so ashamed that this is the best we have???? We wonder why we are losing as a country????
