Second Grader Playing ‘Rescue the World’ at Recess Suspended After Throwing Pretend Grenade at ‘Evil Forces’ (With Adorable Interview!)

7 Year Old Alex Evans Suspended for Throwing Fake Grenade at Pretend Box of Evil Forces During Rescue the World Game at Recess

(Photo: Fox 31)

It’s getting harder and harder to be a kid these days.  Back in the day, children frequently played “cops and robbers” and other good vs. bad games at recess and around the house.  Now they’re getting punished for it.

On the heels of three 6-year-olds being suspended for making gun signs with their hands during recess and a 5-year-old girl being suspended and labeled a “terrorist threat” for threatening to shoot her friend with a “Hello Kitty” bubble gun, a 7-year-old Colorado boy at Loveland’s Mary Blair Elementary School is reportedly in a similar position.

So what did he do?  Apparently the 2nd grader was playing “rescue the world” at recess when he threw a pretend grenade at a make-believe box full of “evil forces.”  There wasn’t actually anything in his hand, nor was there a real box.

“I was trying to save people and I just can’t believe I got dispended,” Alex Evans said.  After demonstrating how the game is played, he said he threw fake grenade at the box “so nothing can get out and destroy the world.”

Fox 31 has more on the story:

But his imaginary play broke the school’s real rules. The school lists “absolutes” designed to keep a safe environment. The list includes absolutely no fighting, real or imaginary; no weapons, real or imaginary. Click here to see the Mary Blair “Absolutes”

“Honestly I don’t think the rule is very realistic for kids this age,” says Alex’s mom Mandie Watkins.

Alex is like a lot of 2nd graders, perpetual motion. His mom says the little boy doesn’t understand why pretending to be a soldier was wrong. “I think that when a child is trying to save the world, I don’t think he should be punished for it.”  [Emphasis added]

The mother adds that Alex will be staying home until they can get the issue resolved.

This is a demonstration of the preconditioning (“propaganda”) our children are facing.

Get the children all preprogrammed to fear firearms and understand that you will ostracized if you do not comply.

Even my 20 something children’s friends have irrational fears of firearms instilled from their school based indoctrination that all firearms are evil and cannot be tolerated or justified.

Same thing is happening on the economic front – children are being taught that only greedy people want to have more than others and we should all have the same outcome.

Of course our political overlords are exempt from all of this – just like the old Soviet Polit Bureau was.

I just pulled the pin on an imaginary grenade and threw it in the ———– killing all occupants. I detonated an imaginary device to finish all the evil off after that . You will have to use your imagination to figure out where all this took place. I love living in an imaginary world.

Wait until he figures out what the Establishment has done, created a world where eventually, every time he sees a politician, he will think of his class mates who made fun of him, the time he could not spend with his family because he had to pay his rat race taxes?

Every time he looks at a politician he will see his favorite boss in that mental parade of pictures in his mind, not some big white smile and a joke about J-Z?

It’s not hard to describe what the Establishment has established?

Here you have a kid acting like a kid playing, using his imagination and perhaps thinking to himself that he alone can/ could make a differance- But to the Progressives , he stepped out of line and was not following the “Prescribed Indoctronation” process where he will learn that He is not unique,America is not exceptional and where all must be willing to comply to big Government without question. The boy must have been posssessed…… May the power of Christ……er… wait…Let’s try that again……. May the power of Obama compell you …Yah thats it !!… may the power of Obam campell you ….May the power of Obama compell you…………..

Listen son…better leave that extreme silence to the professionals. Liberal Hollywood directors. Only they can be trusted with shooting people in the head, exploding bombs, stabbings, dismemberment, torture and killing people by the thousands.

Now mind you…they do NOT condone this violence…they only wish you to see the evil in it…and of course make them RICH by buying tickets to see the gore-fest.

Christ when I was this kids age, we had 4 big pine trees at our house and I used to play army and they where monsters. I would use pine cones as hand grenades and toss them at them.. I would take into school modle tanks, I built to play with panzers and tiger tanks of WW-II

Today I would have been locked up and the key tossed out…..hope this kid grows up to be a conservative.

The Progressives see children like this as a threat as they, the Progressives, are the evil ones. Here the statists try to futher blur the line of traditional American values by teaching that fighting evil is socially unacceptable.

This is so sad. I grew up in the 60′s. I had my Mattel Six Shooters (two guns!!),chaps, cowboy hat and plaid shirt. Being from Oklahoma, we played cowboys and indians. As we got older we graduated to BB guns. My five year younger brother was told to “RUN!!” many times. I always liked a moving target!!! He and I laugh about it now. Today’s kids miss out on so much.

Not to worry… in a very short time, after the collapse, the Country will no longer exist. The land will be occupied by the highest bidders and sold off to them for it’s natural rescources. The kid won’t have any school to worry about, anymore… if he’s still alive; in which case he will ‘really’ have to worry about NAMBLA and other such perverts, who will have survived just fine, and be running whatever scraps are left.
Sorry….. did my cynicism fall out for everyone to see…….

Left wing, politically correct people are by far the most dangerous on earth. They would sooner kiss the ass of a terrorist than jail them. They would have the kids so brainwashed, it would take generations to fix. They have to be stood up to and told, they are wrong.

I see now that the “thought” Police are alive and well. I had always believed that we were safe from being arrested for “thinking” or pretending to do something. I was so wrong.

When I was in grade school (back in the 70′s) we played “Laser Blazer”. Just like “Freeze Tag” but in order to “un-freeze” someone by touching them – you had to pinch their (her) tit. We didn’t know any better being little kids : ) but the Principal but a HUGE halt to that righ now, plus after investigation she suspended the kid that thought of how to ‘un-freeze’. Well….you can bet that this action would be “completely acceptable” these days, and the kids are probably doing worse than an innocent “pinch”.

2013 Liberal Teacher Bias: 5 grader full copulation, “OK, but here’s a free rubber”. Pointing a finger like a gun, “You’re outta here!”.

This is how children learn and comprehend good Vs. evil. We all did it. You didn’t want to be the robber, you wanted to be the cop. You didn’t want to be the indian, you wanted to be the cowboy.

Our “educational system” is doing everything possible to ruin our children.

Oh my gosh! Not again. Are you kidding me? I feel so bad for kids these days and having all this PC crap. I’m only seventeen but when me and my brother were younger, we played cops and robbers and soldiers all the time. We never harmed each other and none of us grew up thinking violence and murder was okay. My friends and I used to play the same games on the playground at our school, we never got in trouble.

It’s just so stupid to even think that kids having imaginations will somehow harm people or grow up to harm people. Why can’t these people just let kids be kids?
