Hillary Clinton’s New Web Site Sparks Increased Speculation That She’s Planning a 2016 Presidential Run

Politicos and media outlets, alike, can’t stop themselves from continuing to question whether Hillary Clinton is planning a 2016 presidential run. Following her heated 2008 primary battle with President Barack Obama and her subsequent tenure as Secretary of State, Clinton has said that she plans to take time to rest. However, a recent change in her official web presence has done little to temper speculation about potential prospects.

On Jan. 31, the same day that she disbanded her 2008 presidential campaign group, a new homepage and web URL went live. Those seeking her old campaign site (HillaryClinton.com) are now directed to visit “the Office of Hillary Clinton” (located at HillaryClintonOffice.com), a web site that features a large image of the former candidate with her name to the left and a link inviting people to contact her “office.”

Naturally, the new web site has some wondering if this is corroboration that Clinton is gearing up to hit the campaign trail again next election cycle.

In the past Clinton has been somewhat vague about her future plans. KCRG-TV recaps her recent responses to questions about a potential 2016 candidacy:

When asked last week at a global town hall if she was thinking of making another run for the White House, Clinton said “I am not thinking about anything like that right now.”

And in an interview with CNN later that day, when asked if she’s decided against another candidacy for president, Clinton responded that “I have absolutely no plans to run.”

But she added that “I am lucky because I’ve been very healthy. I feel great. I’ve got enormous amounts of energy that have to be harnessed and focused, so I’m very fortunate. I’m looking forward to this next chapter in my life, whatever it is.”

As to what that next chapter would be, Clinton gave a hint, saying “I don’t know everything I’ll be doing. I’ll be working on behalf of women and girls, hopefully writing and speaking, those are the things that I’m planning to do right now,” she added.

So, the web site, at this point, isn’t necessarily confirmation of anything definitive. After all, it may simply be a hub for people to contact the former Secretary of State. Either way, it is certainly an intriguing development in the career of an individual who has been dubbed America’s most powerful woman in history.

  John McCain proved that the youth have taken over and all you have to do to get the old f_arts to vote is to say the Republicans are going to do away with SSI. I wish they would chand out the 15 year old picture of her. The other day I saw a current picture and she looked like a 80 year old H_ooker. She is all puffey and I bet she is wearing shoes that are 3 sizes larger.   This from a representative of the most transparent administration in history.
  
  WHEN she decides to run we all need to remember this and “What difference at this point does it make?” needs to become a rallying cry. I needs to become a rallying cry against a politician who’d just presume to sweep under the rug the fact that several Americans died in a place they shouldn’t have been, on a day muslim extremists celebrate, and after multiple requests throughout the day had been made for help and were ignored!
  As a Iraq vet, I can’t even fathom the mindset that would allow calls for help over the course of an entire day to go unheeded and thus let our men and women die unnecessarily.

If its Christy verses Hillary an interesting election it would be. As a life long Democrat I would keep an open mind and follow the campaign closely. Of course Hillary would probably win simply because the far right would stay home or vote 3rd party (again).

Hillary will sorta disappear over a year or so. She will lose some weight, get some plastic surgery, polish up some speeches, and write a book about her time as Secretary of State.

Then sometime in 2014….BAM! she will appear on the scene…looking slimmer, younger promoting her book on all of the talk shows. If she gets strong positive response to run, then she’ll assemble her team.

Obama gave her the Imperial nod on 60 minutes. He knows Joe can’t win, but if Joe runs Obama will support him half-heartedly.

Hillary is in a better position to distance herself from Obama’s policies should she need too. Joe however can’t do that very well without being disloyal, and since he has given a glowing endorsement to all of Obama’s policies it won’t look good for him.

The GOP will run Christie and Rubio at the same time for the GOP primary and support each of them…with the intention of Christie being prez, and him naming Rubio as his vice prez.

True Conservatives, Constituionalists, Libertarians, Reagan Conservatives, The Tea Party, will be disgusted once again, won’t turn out in very large numbers and Hillary will win.

This pattern will be repeated until the Elite Rino’s of the GOP are run out of the party…or a viable 3rd party comes into power.

Miss Hilary needs to stay at home and make sure her crooked finger “Bill” is behaving. She’s eaten her way across our country and all others. She’s turned into a middle-aged pig. We don’t want to see or hear of her running for president, however; had she been elected president opposed to Obama, we may not be in dyer straights. A woman president knows how to budget, because she’s had to do this for her and her family for many years. Obama is spending money as if he has a tree out back of the Whitehouse. If he loved Amrerican’s, loved his country, he would put a lid on the use of Air Force One and Two. He would stay in the Whitehouse and do his work. He can’t stay still five minutes, much less in the Whitehouse five months straight without leaving. He’s spent more money in four years then all past presidents. It’s just ridiculous.
