The controversial military tactic of drone strikes are in the news again after a 16-page confidential Justice Department memo was obtained by NBC News, reporting that the memo gives the U.S. government broad authorization to use drone strikes, including to kill any American citizen who is believed to be a “senior operational” leader of Al Qaeda or “an associated force.” The issue over the use of drone strikes is likely to come under fire again later this week with the confirmation hearings for President Obama’s CIA Director-nominee John Brennan, who is said to be the architect of President Obama’s drone strike strategy.
Jordan Sekulow of the American Center for Law and Justice appeared on ‘Wilkow!‘ Wednesday to discuss the Obama administration’s use of drones and the legal implications of this newly reveal memo. Feb. 7, 2013 at 11:28amAnyone remember “waterboarding”? I remember how Nancy Pelosi and “Dirty” Dick Durban went crazy because of that at “gitmo” Now we have this memo about the targeting of Americans just because they are “suspect”? The silence from “them” is DEAFENING!!

Feb. 7, 2013 at 11:57amShalom,
Maybe they are being silent due to the fact that because of their overwhelming support of terrorist organizations associated with Al Qaeda (Hamas, the new Palestinian “state”, the Muslim Brotherhood, CAIR, etc.), they know that they (along with Mr. Obama) are, by the terms laid out in this memo, now eligible for removal by drone.
