Rand Paul Makes It Clear: ‘I Really Think’ The Admin May Have Had a ‘Gun-Running Operation’ in Libya
Few Democratic or Republican leaders have been as outspoken in their views on the Benghazi debacle and the administration’s role in a potential gun-running scheme than Sen. Rand Paul. In fact, the Kentucky Republican excoriated former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton during her recent testimony on the matter, saying that if he had been president at the time, he would have “relieved” her of her post.
Since then, the senator has been consistently pressing the administration for answers on whether it had been running guns through Libya, thereby catalyzing the death of Ambassador Stevens.
A partial transcript of the senator’s Thursday appearance on Fox News featuring his key points on the issue is featured below [emphasis added]:
I really think part of the cause may have been there was a gun running operation going on in Benghazi, leaving Libya and going to Turkey and distributing arms to the rebels… They’ve interviewed the captain of the ship. A ship from Libya sailed for Turkey a week before the ambassador was killed. It was full of arms and they interviewed the captain and he actually specifically talks about the distribution of the arms to Syrian rebels… And I think the administration needs to answer, ‘are they running guns through Turkey to Syria?’
While not as direct as Paul, House Speaker John Boehner indicated in late January that he, too, might have knowledge of a potential gun-running scheme via an alleged “classified source.”

In CONTROL, Glenn Beck presents a passionate, fact-based case for guns that reveals why gun control isn’t really about controlling guns at all; it’s about controlling us. @Keaton – testimony from a ship captain – that should count as evidence. BTW, they still haven’t produced the people who survived the Benghazi attack. Where are they? What do they have to say?

What else do we need to impeach this traitor. I’d take Nixon any day over what we have now.

Posted on February 9, 2013 at 12:33pmWell just maybe the only proof we will ever get from this administration is that the weapons used to kill them were American made weapons used by our military. It is also funny how the president and Leon were else where when all this went on and were not available to respond in 9 hours! What happened to that if we are attacked a 4:30 am I will be able to respond?

Obama definitely is not the Prince of Peace. When Egypt turns the F16s and M1As on the Jews the death toll will be in the 100s of thousands. He is the master of diplomacy. For Satan.

They are not under attack- but obama given them reasons to even less fear any retaliation. What obama is doing is escalating an arms race. An arms race where nuclear weaponry is glorified in the holy book of the enemy.

Posted on February 7, 2013 at 3:00pmHillary Clinton may be done having to answer committee questions.
She may think she can pick-up her “cracked ceiling” by having kept herself poitically alive & in the public eye; by working for the friend of the “slum landlord”, and by her husband consuming large quantities of party-poop; helping Obama get elected (twice)…
Rand Paul started running for 2016; before the November 2012 election.
Ron Paul gathered quite a following –with hopes– that will –gladly– elect the son in leiu of the father.
Rand Paul only asked what he asked (the way asked) at the Benghazi hearing so that he could continue the campaign; as he is.

Posted on February 7, 2013 at 3:13pmNot so. Assad is way better than what would likely succeed him. I have given up caring how many Muslims he has and will kill. What he is facing is the muslim brotherhood. Any true dissidents will have to wait till we get a real American in the white house, and gone underground until that time.
I only care how many non-muslims get killed, for they are the only innocent. The others are accomplices to evil. It is good that Christians leave. We do not need them there as shields to be concerned about. Ultimately Islam is going to destroy itself, with a little help from it’s enemies they have declared war on.

Posted on February 7, 2013 at 4:46pmIf nobody ever over threw a dictator because it was likely that you might end up with something worse, then nobody would ever overthrow a dictator. That may seem okay to people like you, who just like to pretend that you are in danger of someday living under a dictatorship every time an election doesn’t go your way, but for people actually living under real dictatorship, a slim chance of really improving things is better than no chance. If the rebels are being supported by people who are not truly friends of liberty and don’t really want them to be free, that’s all the more reason for the countries of the free world to show them that we too support them in their struggle.

Since we have to choose a side, I figured that it was a real no-brainer that we should be against the guy who used chemical weapons on his own people. Apparently I’m wrong and it’s okay to use poison gas on people yearning to breath free, as long as they’re just Muslims.
