Report: Jesse Jackson Jr. Facing ‘Significant Jail Time’ in Plea Deal

Former Rep. Jesse Jackson Jr. is reportedly looking at “significant jail time” in federal prison as part of a plea deal in a federal criminal probe into alleged misuse of campaign dollars, according to the Chicago Sun-Times.

The Illinois Democrat resigned his congressional seat in November after seeking prolonged treatment for mental illness and amid the backdrop of the investigation.

“Significant jail time is now definitely a part of the deal,” a source told the Sun-Times.

In another development, Jackson’s wife, Sandi Jackson, who resigned her Chicago city council seat last month, is facing her investigation and is reportedly feeling “like she was thrown under the bus.”

The Sun-Times reported earlier this week that the federal financial investigation into Rep. Jackson — including that he allegedly spent $40,000 in campaign funds on a Rolex watch — split into a separate probe of his wife, Sandi Jackson.

“I think [Jackson’s wife] Sandi, feels like she was thrown under the bus by her husband, ” another source told the newspaper.

  They will keep a room ready at the new Federal Prison at Thompson for all of Illinois politicians who will eventually be indicted. Chicago has more crooked politicians per capita than any place in the country. One even made it to the White House and brought his crooked cronies with him.

  This poor man is obviously a victim of racism. Has anyone else noticed that everyone of these minority politicians are investigated for some type of corruption or another. I’m sure it’s not possible that their all corrupt it has to be whitey trying to keep the brothers down. I for one am ashamed to be a part of this terribly racist conservative group that is always trying to pick on minorities and women as dear leader Obama and many of his minions when republicans had the temerity to question him on the lies he and his peeps told to cover up the embassy attack. Now I hope this message will make all of us blazers stop and think about how terrible we are and the outcome of our actions. The real problem is that the Jackson’s, in their arrogance have run afoul of the 6 or 7 familes in Chicago who run everything.

Even if you’re clean as whistle, if you piss of these families, your chances of surviving politically, or in any other way is about nil.

The Jackon’s are as dirty as the day is long….they had 0 chance.

The big story, not reported, is that junior (and Daddy) were directly involved in the bidding for Obama’s vacated US senate seat.
Had junior been ‘white’ like Blago a different outcome would have been revealed to the public, other than the usual…..exhaustion, depression and campaign fund disclosures
