Egyptian Judge Orders YouTube Blocked for a Month Over Anti-Islam Film That Spurred Riots

CAIRO (TheBlaze/AP) — A Cairo court has ordered that the website YouTube be banned in Egypt for 30 days for carrying an anti-Islam film that caused riots across the world.

Judge Hassouna Tawfiq ordered the government Saturday to block YouTube because it carries the amateur film produced by an Egyptian in the United States. The film “The Innocence of Muslims” caused uproar in September 2012 in 20 countries for denigrating Islam and the Prophet Muhammad.

The controversial film was initially cited as the reasons sparking the riot against the U.S. embassy in Libya where four Americans were killed including Ambassador Christopher Stevens. Soon after the attacks, the experts began saying the reasons for the riots were much more than just the anti-Islam film.

Lawyer Mohammed Hamid Salim, who filed the lawsuit last year, alleges the film constitutes a threat to Egypt’s security.

The ruling can be appealed. Past verdicts ordering the blocking of websites deemed offensive in Egypt have not been applied.

At the time after the riots against the film, the Obama administration and other countries asked YouTube to review or remove the video from its website. YouTube complied with some requests.

Who is suprised that Morsi or this Judge he has running this little snit would do something like block youtube. Wait a second. Define irony-Egypt CAN NOT look at things such as this video because they are banned, not allowed, against the law or whatever and many other internet sites I’m sure and American’s who CAN and are allowed to view anything within the the law have these search engines such as Google or the other major ones are being tracked, watched, having their data and information saved and a slew of other un-constitutional poop sucked out of their living rooms. BOOOOOOO!!!!

Um, really? A video spurred all the riots? These people have NO common sense. What about all the movies and “art” that’s been in direct opposition to the Christian faith. Do you see us rioting? As God is there judge. And boy that day is coming. These are the same people that Obama sympathizes with.

Ah yes, The religion of peace and all the peaceful followers. This ladies and gentlemen is the kind of backwards thinking you get when women are not allowed to vote…along with the child rape, hatred of everything and trying to murder everything or person that bothers you. That being said I don’t want to hear any crap about not all muslims are radicals ok cause I don’t see the non hardliners doing anything to stop the child rape,murder and hatred of everything they disagree with.

They disconnect u-tube for the supposed video, and they’ll let a man rape, beat and torture his own 5 year old daughter. I wonder how long god is going to let this go on. What kind of people believe in Allah and commit these crimes against people.

This video didn’t cause any problems until it was supposedly translated and sent to Egyptian journalists by Morris Sadek . Wouldn’t you love to know exactly who and what was behind all of this ? Especially since the Obama Administration hid behind this for weeks after four Americans were murdered , the president was missing the night it happened, and the Secretary of State was never informed about Stevens’ request for more security . The ” We Don’t Know Anything About Anything ” Obama Administration , aka the BLAME The Video Administration….

Why do you think clinton left? and panetta and the other top brass will be replaced and or dealt with because they are taking the blame for it. The ambassor was sent there by obozo to be assassinated..that was his plan all along, to get rid of any and all who knew or was involved with this gun running operation. Why would panetta and other military brass take the blame?…survival, that’s why..they will be given immunity for taking the blame…the choice, immunity for taking the blame or a drone target…they are making their choice. Isn’t it strange that there is an “outrage” over a stupid movie, when not a word is said when a woman is stoned to death, a child is raped and strangled by her father as an “honor killing”, someone beheads a Jewish reporter or massacres a Jewish family, a female reporter is gang raped, non Muslim citizens are burned alive, hung, beheaded, tortured, acid is thrown in the face of women… but they are “outraged by a movie that is so poorly produced that high school kids with an Ipod could have done better. No wonder, people with these values can’t crawl out of their primitive/violent lives. And CAIR would have us believe these values are “normal”.

That’s Bolshchit! AP is formatting the judges’ action to make it look as if the reason for the riots were in fact, the video. Repeating the lie is what this is.
