Univisión Employee Calls Sen. Marco Rubio a ‘Token Slave Boy’ on Facebook

An assistant to a top executive at the Spanish language television network Univisión, which is known for revealing details about Operation Fast and Furious and for asking President Barack Obama pointed questions about his failing to reform immigration law, attacked Sen. Marco Rubio (R-Fla.) on a staff member’s Facebook page, calling him “a token slave boy” according to the Miami Herald.

The Miami Herald explained that the attack was made Wednesday against Rubio on his spokesman Alex Burgos’ Facebook page after he announced the senator would be giving his response to President Barack Obama’s Tuesday State of the Union address in both English and Spanish.

“Oh. wow, the loser is going to speak after our President,” Angelica Artiles wrote on Burgos’ Facebook page, according to the Herald. “Anything to get publicity. Ask him to do us a favor and stay home that night.”

Artiles, executive assistant to VP of News Daniel Coronell, was not alone in her comments. Burgos engaged as well. Here’s some of the back-and-forth:

“While you may be content with mediocrity under this President, I am not,” Burgos wrote. “And fortunately neither are patriots like Marco Rubio who have opportunities like next Tuesday night to offer an alternative way forward. I am proud to work for him and actually feel sorry for you for writing this.”

Artiles shot back: “Patriot? LOL Alex Burgos.”

She then used a diminutive term for Rubio’s first name, “Marquito,” and proceeded to compare him to a Disney dwarf, a “token slave boy” and a “fool” who was passed over by Republican Mitt Romney on his presidential ticket last November.

Burgos stopped responding, but others took up Rubio’s cause and attacked Artiles for being a “troll,” Internet slang for someone who posts inflammatory statements to gin up responses. The conversation went back and forth in English and Spanish.

The harsh words by Artiles are not the first to mark Univisión’s criticism of Rubio.

The Miami Herald noted that the station is owned by a Democratic donor Haim Saban,who has called Republicans “anti-Hispanic.” In August, comments were made on Rubio’s Facebook page by someone using Univisión’s account, calling him “a mediocre politician” and saying that “Jeb Bush is more Latino and talented than him.”

Univisión released this statement after Buzzfeed called out their August Facebook post:

“An unpleasant comment not authorized by Univisión News was posted on this page. That comment does not represent the views of Univisión News and we have taken steps to ensure that this situation does not happen again.”

So far no one at Univisión has commented on the latest Facebook comments, the Miami Herald noted.

At least Marco Rubio is making a remotely American attempt to deal with the issue of entitled illegal aliens CLOGGING up our country. And the ignorant humans who are attacking affirm he might be getting somewhere.

The radical “advocates” from the Latino groups are racist, destructive, and…they have no idea what a constitutional republic is. Period. They use mob force and call it “democracy”. Oje gente, this is not a democracy. Rubio is elected to work for us. So let him try. Univision…why don’t you help Mexico by TRULY broadcasting and talking about the MURDER and CORRUPTION in Mexico.   On every other point, I like Mr. Rubio (my senator), but this point for me far outweighs any liking I had for him. He is much more of a progressive than I ever thought and, as a result, he no longer has my support at all. And yes, I have e-mailed him on this particular stance of his, voicing my extreme displeasure.

For some unknown reason, let us hope it leans toward incompetence rather than cover up, The Blaze did NOT provide us with an Image of the, one supposes, Lovely and Talented “Angel the Artless”.

At one time I would have agreed with Barber 2:55 about cops and “pigs”. But in the last 3 years my experience with “Officers of The Law” from State Police to Local Patrolmen has convinced me that PoPos in general are not only NOT noticeably more Honest, Noble, Full of Integrity, and Trustworthy that the Rest of Us they have POWER over, but in too many cases are actually LESS. Disrespectful and contemptuous of what THEY call “civilians” (think THAT little distinction all the way thru) and quite prepared to trample the rights and reputations of innocent people in order to cover for their own.
Their CORE Value seems to be a kind of Pack Loyalty, not much different than any Gang Bangers or Union Protection Racket Thug.
I continue to suggest that the ONLY People who CAN be Trusted with Power over their fellow Sovereign Citizens are those to whom the phrase “one of our own” would be an anathema to be responded to with a Fervent and Zealous “the people I swore an oath to Protect and SERVE are MY OWN!” Such a person would regard the least of the fellow citizens he serves as an order of magnitude more important than “the thin Blue Line.”
When the LahPed is not only so INCOMPETENT, but so COWARDLY, and more importantly, so KLANISH, as to RIDDLE a pickup, with two innocent women in it, with bullets for being guilty of NOTHING but looking vaguely similar to a suspect’s vehicle, the time has come to rethink the respect the Uniform and The Badge DESERVES.

Marco Rubio is a neocon that is John McCain’s intern into the philosophy of progressive Republican conservatism.

Rubio was a keynote speaker for the global governance Council of Foreign Relations. Rubio espoused hatred toward the Tea Party principles and spoke against libertarianism.

Rubio’s rabid interventionist foreign policy is dangerous and will bankrupt a constitutional republic,

President Thomas Jefferson spoke English, French, Italian, Latin, and he could read Greek, and Spanish. President James Madison spoke English, Greek, Latin and Hebrew. President James Monroe spoke English and French. Benjamin Franklin, America’s first diplomat and well-known genius spoke English, French and Italian. President John Adams spoke English, French and Latin.

Someone past a third grade education might not understand the ignorance behind an English only stance. English should be the primary language, to claim it should be the only language spoken is absurd.

Univision and those associated and supporting it embody reasons we reject the arrogance and sense of entitlement by far too many Latinos. It also serves as an example of what happens when we abide by their mandate to accept/honor “diversity.”

It was a sense of unity that formed and grew this country and law and order that served as a support system. 20-30 million illegal aliens, Univision, LaRaza, ACLU, unions, and the U.S. Chamber of Commerce are but some of the entitites tearing it apart.

  So, at 2:07 were you calling Civl War Cometh” “Adolph” (one presumes as in “Hitler”) and accusing CWC of “playing the race card”. Or were your referring to someone else on the thread or in the original story? What, specifically did you mean?
