President Obama is set to deliver the first State of the Union address of his second term Tuesday. According to the Associated Press Obama’s speech will include a revival of his populist re-election message on the economy, more tax increases and fewer spending cuts; and the Washington Post reports the president  is considering a series of new executive actions aimed at working around congress. The new policies include allowing homowners to refinance their mortages, provide new protections for gays and lesbians, retrofitting buildings for energy efficiency, toughening regulations for coal powered plants, and cybersecurity.
The speech comes after over a year of campaigning where critics accused the president of riling up class warfare, and an Inauguration address that took a hard left on domestic issues while offering few olive branches to the GOP.
With indications now that the State of the Union will include an agenda to support divisive issues by avoiding any compromise in Congress, are we on pace for an even more gridlocked and politically dysfunctional second Obama term?  On ‘Real News’ Monday the panel previewed what we expect in the president’s speech, and debated what implications Obama’s approach to the separation of powers will have on American politics moving forward:

Doing the same thing over and over again, expecting there to be a different result in the end.

Feb. 12, 2013 at 4:38amOf course DIC (dictator in chief) will not learn from his mistakes according to him he has never made one. I mean think about it, everything that has gone wrong or stayed wrong in his 4+ years was either GWB’s fault or he didn’t know about it. I mean he sat there and watched 4 americans die in Lybia, and blamed it on everyone from the state department on down. Fast and Furious he used executive privilege to cover up the fact that he and Holder were trying to get increased gun control in this country by letting guns walk to the cartels in Mexico. We have had 7.8 percent or greater unemployment for his whole presidency but he brushes that aside by saying that is all GWB’s fault. You as loyal american comrades would do well to remember that you have the most intelligent and likeable president and first lady ever, and to even entertain the idea that your betters could ever make a mistake is punishable by having to look at Moochelles arm fat and large tookis in stretch pants for hours on end. No soup for you!

Feb. 12, 2013 at 12:25amYou’ve got to convince the boy king Obama that he’s done something wrong. His arrogance, and hypocrisy won’t let him admit he’s done nothing wrong. And I’m sure Michelle would tell him if he was wrong.

Like I said in a different article, this POS is showing citizens of the U.S. how he can stand on their throat, and become a self appointed dictator.
This massive POS dirtbag needs to be removed from the White House by whatever means are necessary.
