CNN Asks If Rubio’s Infamous Water Break Is a ‘Career-Ender’
Yes, CNN wants to know whether Florida Republican Senator Marco Rubio’s (sadly) infamous water break from his State of the Union response is a “career-ender.”
CNN tells POLITICO:
@dylanbyers We are joking, it was a tease.

Posted on February 14, 2013 at 6:23amRubio should be the poster boy for a drink more water campaign. I mean, we live in a country where people complain about and ban soda. Here is a man drinking water. I’d say he is setting a great example.
This is the most belittling thing I have seen the media do to a politician yet. Yeah, lets not have a discussion about what Rubio said… no look… he drank water… OMG……….WOW

Posted on February 14, 2013 at 1:42amSo he took a sip of water, so what? People have done this during speeches since time immemorial. Let’s pay attention to what’s really important: his platform. He supports amnesty for illegal aliens, so that means that he’ll never get my vote – nor those of millions of others of the same opinion.
Face it, Rubio is The Stupid Party’s answer to Obama: countering the Democrats’ Black model with their brown model. Fergit it!
Remember the age-old rule: Whenever Republicans try to act like Democrats, they lose. Repeat this last sentence every morning until it’s ingrained.

Posted on February 13, 2013 at 10:12pmChris Mathews can pi$$ down his leg at the mere mention of Odumbo’s name and they want to destroy Rubio for taking a drink of water. If I were a brain dead liberal, I too would want to destroy him over a glass of water…….sure couldn’t do it with logic or common sense!
Liberalism, like homosexuality are mental illness. Liberalism is evil.

Posted on February 13, 2013 at 8:29pmMaybe they are obsessed with this because the only thing they are allowed to drink – under penalty of death – is Kool-Aid.
Dang, I’m gonna go get a nice, tall glass of cool ice water!

Posted on February 13, 2013 at 8:13pmRubio was also breathing the entire time he was speaking, surely that alone should disqualify him from ever holding office again. Now can I get a pay check from CNN?

Posted on February 13, 2013 at 7:50pmOh, I don’t know…was Candy Crawler’s over after she committed an enormous breach of etiquette at the presidential debate? Was Anderson Cooper’s even threatened after Kathy Griffin repeatedly kneeled down to “address” his crotch on New Year’s Eve, or if we are just referencing politicians, life seems to be moving along smoothly for many who have certainly done much worse:
B.Clinton
H.Dean
H.R.Clinton
M.Barry
R.Emmanuel
R.Menendez
C.Rangel
Etc.,etc.,etc.
Every one of these public servants’ careers should have ended for what they did. On a positive note, J.Edward’s did end!

Posted on February 13, 2013 at 7:43pmThey are fixating hard on this one thing, due to the fact that not one day goes by where one of their own Useful Idiot Gollums doesn’t make an off-the-charts monumentally embarrassing blunder.
This is all they are going to get for a very long time and they know it, so they are flogging the crap out of it. So rolling my eyes right now.
I agree with Beck about Rubio being the guy most likely to be “turned to the dark side,” especially in view of his attendance at the Bilderberg conference last year, among a couple other things.
However, he is a first-class public speaker, and I don’t think he needs Donald Trump telling him how to drink his water.
The fact is, whoever was assisting Rubio should be explaining or possibly being fired.
Drinking on camera from a bottle is beyond unprofessional, but obviously it was an emergency, which should never have been allowed to happen.
Standard procedure or any interview or other speaking engagement would be a podium, desk or table, a pitcher of water, and a glass.

Posted on February 13, 2013 at 7:40pmThe man took a drink of water so whats the big deal. Would of liked to seen him reach over and pull out a bottle of jack and pour a shot. Now that would of been cool. Keep up the good work Marco and get used to the liberal attacks.
