President Obama Did Not Make a Single Call on Night of Benghazi Attack, White House Says

President Barack Obama didn’t make a single call on the night of the Benghazi terrorist attack, the White House told Congress in a letter released on Thursday. Predictably, Republican lawmakers slammed the president for his apparent lack of action.

“During the entire attack, the president of the United States never picked up the phone to put the weight of his office in the mix,” Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) said, adding that had Obama picked up a phone, at least two of the Americans killed in the attacks might still be alive because he might have been able to demand immediate U.S. aid.

I am a old vet and sorry for my country. Not mad at the President but at the people who put him there. I just want to protect my family and help my friends. I hope there are others out there also.

  I regret and find it incredible that SOOOOOO many miltary commenders just accepted the “Stand Down” orders as matter-of-fact. We have four men (and 30 more) in mortal danger and the Sewer Rat-in-Chief gets ready for an early night and his very next catastrophe. All the while, our military, sworn to defend the constitution and to ignore orders contrary to the constitution, simply shrug their narrow shoulders and dessert those men?

  Give him a break. He had to get up really early to go to Vegas, and probably had an afternoon Tee time. It’s a tough job, and he can’t be expected to stay up late for every little terrorist attack that happens around the world. He lied about that video tape, that he said was the cause for the terrorist attack in Benghazi. Do you realize know one has spoken to the survivors of the Benghazi attack. Keep in mind though, this is not all Oblamo’s doing, the handlers behind him are the ones really running the show. Do you think that one single person could keep ANY records hidden for so many years without a very strong influence? There is no way that he could be single handedly destroying the USA from the inside, there are forces behind him a lot bigger than him, trust me.   I’m glad that somebody is paying attention; but, maybe most folks don’t want to think of the unthinkable! The thought of the US Army and other US military units being ordered to march against, and fire on, US citizens is so foreign to most Americans that they can’t conceive that it could actually happen. If the military won’t follow the order, I’ll bet DHS probably will. The DHS boys have to find something to do with those 1.6 billion rounds of ammo we just bought for them!
  
  If all else fails, maybe our Sewer Rat-in-Chief will get his “Civilian National Security Force,” introduced during a campaign speech in July 2008.

Come on everyone, he had to pack for Vegas! He wasn’t AWOL, everyone knew where he was, he just couldn’t be bothered after his 5pm meeting with Penetta. At that time, it was reported that the attack was happening. It is a strong message if you don’t care that an Ambassador dies, that tells Americans how could he possibly care for the average citizen. I wonder though who thought to use the video idea? After they made that accusation I looked up the video and it had only 13,000 hits. How could the middle east be on fire over this? Also protestors throw rocks and stuff, not carry RPGs. Who did he think he was kidding. Bottom line…dead men don’t talk!

  By far, the two Navy Seals that lost their lives that day were heros beyond description. It appears that they went against direct orders to stand down, and were out numbered 15 to 1, and out gunned. They stood by their conviction to save American lives without regard for their own self-preservation. If the Benghazi-gate details are ever fully uncovered, we can thank these two men for saving our Country.

I work for a small manufacturing company and if I got a call that my employees where in dire need and injuries had happened on the job while I was at home I would jump out of my bed and run to their aid!!! That’s why I am in the position that I am in to protect and keep those under me safe as possible and ready to help them at a moments notice! If I rolled over and went back to bed and even one employee dies I would be fired so freaking fast. WAKE UP AMERICA!!!!!!

Who gave the orders to stand down, to the admiral who got fired when he was going to ignore the order and to the marines who ignored the order and got killed trying to help at the consulate?
Where did the buck stop? Is the spin now to say that Obama made no calls and therefore didn’t give the orders? What is the truth?

That would certainly explain why he would (be claimed to have) done something politically akin to shooting yourself in the foot (or other, more important locations), not calling.
