Rep. Steve Cohen Says Co Ed He Tweeted Is Actually His Daughter

Rep. Steve Cohen (D-Tenn.) raised eyebrows on Tuesday when he tweeted affectionately at a very attractive 24-year-old during the State of the Union address, but then promptly deleted the messages. Many speculated that Cohen, 63, was carrying on some kind of love affair with a much younger woman.

However, in a stunning twist, Cohen told NBC News on Thursday that the blonde bombshell he was tweeting at, Victoria Brink, is actually his daughter.

The Hill first reported that Cohen, a long-time bachelor, deleted tweets calling Brink “beautiful girl” and remarking “ilu,” short for “I love you.” The congressman claimed there was nothing inappropriate about the tweets and the woman was actually the daughter of an old family friend. Well, now he says she is actually the daughter of an old girlfriend of his.

Cohen said he became overwhelmed with excitement when Brink tweeted that she was watching the State of the Union.

“When she let me know she was watching the State of the Union address I was thrilled that she wanted Steve Cohen to be part of her. I had such joy, that I couldn’t hold back from tweeting her,” Cohen said.

How did he discover three years ago that he had an illegitimate child? He says he “googled” Brink’s mother, an old girlfriend of his.

“I googled her mother, found out she had a child and the math looked pretty accurate…The mom told me we had a lot of catching up to do,” Cohen explained.

Brink’s mother reportedly told Cohen he was the father. Cohen recalled her saying: “Yes every time I look at her I see the German Jew in her face.”

“I’m Lithuanian — close enough,” the congressman added.

Cohen told NBC News that he “loved her” and was “proud to be her dad.” The two have apparently gotten to know each other over the years and he took her to a White House Christmas party.

“I’ve been able to take her on a tour of the Capitol and the White House, I want her to see my world and be a part of it,” said Cohen.

We didn’t see this one coming.

  Speaking as one who has HAD THE PHONE CALL…of “could you be my daddy?” from a 24yr old….the FIRST thing that is done today by any rational man is:
  
  a DNA test.

  My DAD would have never, not in a million years, let me pose for a photo like that. But you have to do a LITTLE more than forget about a sperm deposit you made some years ago to actually RAISE a child. (Ooooo, that’s cold! Shame on me. I’m sure she’s a very nice girl.)

  I’d, sure as heck, wouldn’t let my daughter pose for a picture like that, but she looks to be in her twenties, so she is an adult and doesn’t have to listen to my objections anymore. Still, my daughters would have more sense.
  The fact that he initially lied is telling. If I was tweeting my daughter, why would I lie about it? I would be proud to tell them who it was.

Obviously this man suffers from a lack of commie care at the age of 4, hopefully we will introduce legislation that allows all of us to benefit from the authoratative study that proves beyond a reasonable doubt that citizens who do not receive Kommy Care at the age of 4, sustain irrepairable damage to the their moral character, this unfair attack by society on their intelligence is an act of racial injustice (because they were born and not aborted) that they will never recover from for the rest of their adult lives, and should therefore collect Social Security effecitve immediately for their disabilities due to not receiving Kommy Care at the age of 4?

Liberals hate it when you talk their language, carressing these long words with the loving care of stirring your emotions to action? Don’t worry, as we speak, we will prove beyond a reasonable doubt, that we were wrong, the correct age is 3?

Just the kind of behavior that can be expected from Democrats – illicit sex and illegitimate children. At least, unlike a lot of Democrat politicians, he didn’t sleep with another man, or at least once he didn’t. Thankfully, GOP politicians are better behaved – no illegitimate children from them.

So all John Edwards did was admit it when the child was a baby, not 24…

Which just goes to show that while there is plenty of shady and immoral behavior that goes on within the Political Arena, not everything every Democrat does is unethical, immoral or illegal…just most of it. This speaks volume as to just how lack luster the media has become. With all the truly heinous things that this administration is doing, they can turn a blind eye, but they feel the need to cover this non-issue because it’s “sensational”. Makes you kind of sick, doesn’t it?
