Wild Video Captures the Massive Cafeteria Brawl Between Muslim and African-American Students at Minn. High School

MINNEAPOLIS (TheBlaze/AP) — A food fight quickly turned into a brawl involving hundreds of students at a Minneapolis high school on Thursday, forcing police to use chemical spray to break up the melee. Students are saying the melee was the result of tensions between 8 percent of students who are Somali Muslims and the 20 percent who are African Americans.

“I know it’s a pride thing between Muslims and black people,” student Symone Glasker said. “They want their pride back for something. I don’t know.”

Four people were taken to hospitals with minor injuries, including a staff member who was hit in the head with a bottle, according to the school and police.

The 15-minute fracas broke out during lunchtime at South High School. No weapons were used, but about 200 to 300 students were involved, Minneapolis police spokesman Sgt. Bill Palmer said.

Students were throwing food, plates, pop bottles – “anything they could get their hands on” – at school staff and police, Palmer said.

Another student, Abdi Sheikh, said he saw hundreds of students fighting, adding that it appeared to be racially motivated.

“A big riot,” he said. “It was all types of races.”

A dozen officers responded to the scene and used chemical spray to break up the fight, he added. School officials said police used chemical spray in the air above the crowd, though several students complained of the spray’s effects.

“Stan Alleyne, the Minneapolis Public Schools chief of communications, praised the school’s diversity following the incident.

“South is a very diverse high school…It is a microcosm of the city. Students function together at a high level every day. That is the strength of this school. Our students live diversity every day,” he said.”

And so now obozo wants pre-school education for all children…so that by the time they reach 3rd grade they will be fully indoctrinated into marxism, and they’ll be his little working tools. Our educational system is paid for with our hard earned tax dollars, and look at the idiots these union teachers are producing.

This would be a good foreign policy. Notice how the white students watch and laugh will the two groups fight each other, rather than step in and offer each group money to keep the peace…

These youths are just conducting their training for future prison riots…

The progressive leadership of our country have already sold us into economic slavery; with the elderly holding onto whatever they have left, the middle aged working class trying to stay afloat, and the youth convinced that work is optional.

To any Patriot reading this – stop worrying about arguments of where we are headed, you already know the answer and those that do not get it by now will learn through pain and suffering. Instead, figure out what you are going to do about it.

  This is what you get when the government tells/allows “FAVORED GROUPS” that they will not be held accountable for their actions! blacks have been rioting and assaulting people for a while now and muslims can’t be touched or CAIR will rain down lawsuits on you and their Muslim in chief protects them..   Gentlemen we have historically had to fight those insane the go too far. This is a new era in time that’s giving birth to something that threatens us all. The dollar is about to race to the bottom is what scares me as countries cut currency. And stocks keep going up, you watch.

  When someone takes the time to look up their password so they can log in and respond to a story, why does someone at the Blaze get to decide that the response is too intelligent or too insightful to remain on these pages? I keep hearing stories about how the main-stream media is not including conservative viewpoints, is preventing their readers from reading the whole story, is only reporting what they think their readers should read, and how very bad that is. And then the Blaze hypocritically goes and does the very same thing. Whoever trashed my response to this story, is just as despicable as those “biased” main-stream media censors.   Multiculturalism is a farce and always fails in the end. There are plenty of examples in history that prove that diversity has lowered the standards for every organization that put this crap through. If you hire someone because of their color of their skin or you hire someone because of their religion instead of hiring them for their ability to do the job that company will fail in the long run. The production will go down and overall degrade that company.

  Multiculturalism does not work because it begins with the wrong premise. We don’t have time to teach about every culture in our government schools, without setting aside time for more important subjects. There is something that supercedes all cultures, the Creator given worth of each individual. Each human being, born or unborn, has as much right to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness as the next person. Devaluing that basic human tenet is the underlying reason for all the wars, killings, hatreds and conflicts. When will any of us respect the point of Martin Luther King’s re-statement of the greatest truth that the content of our character has nothing to do with the color of our skin or our worldly ancestry. Originally it was said “love your neighbor as yourself.” Teach that and we won’t be reading of such horrible events as this hateful spectacle.
