4 People Were Shot Within 90 Minutes After President Obama Left Chicago, Where He Spoke on Gun Control

President Barack Obama spoke about his new gun control initiatives during a quick visit to his hometown of Chicago Friday, but the violence in one of the most dangerous cities in the United States did not abate.

The Politico relates:

Four separate shootings took place in the span of 90 minutes Friday evening in Chicago, the first coming less than an hour after Air Force One departed O’Hare Airport after President Obama spoke on the culture of gun violence and economic decay that plagues many cities, including his hometown.

An hour earlier, Obama wrapped up a personal speech at Hyde Park Academy on the South Side, where he mourned the killing of Hadiya Pendleton, the teen who visited Washington for his inauguration just a week before she was gunned down not far from the school. “This is not just a gun issue. It’s also an issue of the kinds of communities that we’re building, and for that we all share a responsibility as citizens to fix it,” he said.

Obama had said little about Chicago’s murder problem — there were more than 500 in 2012 — before Friday, instead focusing on mass shootings in his post-Newtown gun control push. But at a high school just two miles away from his Chicago home, he acknowledged the depths of devastation that street violence generated in the city.

“Last year, there were 443 murders with a firearm in this city, and 65 of them were 18 and under. That’s the equivalent of a Newtown every four months,” he said. “That’s precisely why the overwhelming majority of Americans are asking for some common sense proposals to make it harder for criminals to get their hands on a gun.” [Emphasis added]

Chicago already has some of the strictest gun laws in the country, but some legislators say looser gun laws in neighboring states cancel out their efforts.

According to the Chicago Tribune, 3 men and a woman were the victims of Friday night’s 90-minute crime wave. The woman died; the men did not.

Ever wonder why Oby surrounds himself with mostly school age children when ever he’s speaking in public? He considers himself safe from any “problem” that may occur. It’s not just that he’s openly showing indoctrination, he being shielded.

When a criminal possesses a gun he’s still a criminal. (Soon) when a legal citizen possesses a gun, they BECOME a criminal. “Will make it harder for a criminal to get ahold of a gun”. First off the criminal already has an untraceable gun. Second, the top drug dealers to the average muggers all have a black market connection to easily get guns and ammo. The ONLY thing gun control will accomplish is exactly what Oby wants in order to open the Mexico border, to get all guns out of the American citizens possession so they pose no vast threat to the completion of the New Rainbow America.

Its starting to sound like as far as are government is concerned that law abiding gun owners are becoming a work hazard to the bad guys ,they wont to take are guns away so the drug addicts and crooks;gangs have a safe zone to work in, we all should have a safe work environment when on the job ;it can be very stressful for the bad guy to do his job thinking that the next person that he is getting ready to assault might have a gun to defend there self just a though?

In how many of these murders with guns, were the guns purchased legally? Does anyone have that stat? I would bet that 0 were purchased through legal means. What does that say? These new gun laws are not meant to take guns from criminals, it is to take them from law abiding citizens. We are being dumbed down, disarmed, and soon we will be starved because the EPA is going to put the screws to so many farms. Let’s see how many people around the world starve to death because of the EPA her in the USSA er Obamatopia.

Chicago doesn’t get it ,Its a safe haven for Illegal Immigrants,It has one of the strictest gun laws next to New York in the US, Illinois just passed a law to give Illegals a drivers license ,Know they can drive anywhere in the US legally and have a US ID .Obama and the Mayor of Chicago cant figure out why there is so much gun violence in the city? Well the city of Chicago has open the doors to the Mex icon Drug Cartel .Its the perfect work place to do business ,and if thy can get away with it with out getting busted they can get a free pass into the US with a Green Card .What a deal ,And Chicago is wondering why thy have a big gang/; drug/illegal gun/problem?; Chicago is a major center hub to ship drugs all thru the east coast ;In stead of looking at what some of the real problems are Obama and his Cronies would rather put the blame on law abiding gun owners

Just did a quick check. Since Obama has been in office, there have been 14 mass murders.
These are shootings where more than 2 people were killed.

2009 – 3 shootings
2010 – 1 shooting
2011 – 3 shootings
2012 – 7 shootings

IIllinois has a land border with Missouri, Kentucky, Indiana, Iowa, and Wisconsin, as well as a water border with Michigan (across Lake Michigan) puts the blame on these states.

Legislators in Chicago … should put the blame on themselves for their failures in their gun control policies because the laws put forth do not work… instead these legislators blame Missouri, Kentucky, Indiana, Iowa, and Wisconsin, as well as a water border with Michigan (across Lake Michigan).

Chicago, Illinois needs to build a very tall fence around itself to keep the jungle residents from leaving and to keep the neighboring states looser gun laws away from Chicago,Illinois.

Let’s see, where to start and where to end? His policies are the root cause of the violence in Chi Town. He encourages welfare which sets up for a fiscally kept society, and to top it off, his environmental policies make it nearly impossible for corporations to build in the inner cities. Add to that the high proportion of children growing up without fathers, and you have a recipe for diasaster…..All he has to do is look in the mirror for the WHY it is happening!

I am telling you now buy a gun, if you are squeamish about guns, imagine yourself , in close quarter combat with your hands, feet and teeth; That is your only option Besides dying. Scissors or a knife will improve survival, if you have knowledge, the ability to use the most extreme violence you can imagine and brute strength pull it off. Even the best trained men in the world fear this type of fighting it is very personal and bloody. Ask any vet, prison guard, ex-con, inmate, gang member or police officer. Hand to hand fight to the death and it will be if you start it will be a picture that will not leave you no matter how justified. If you can run, run, if not shoot and if you have to too save your life or someone else’s fight. It boils down to beating someone to death, gutting them or putting a hole in them. That is your only choice. An alarm or 911 will get you help in minutes when seconds count. You decide. To DHS, News media, politicians’ and the big thinkers it is academic but is very personal

So neighboring cities are the problem? And why do they buy them elsewhere and bring them to Chicago? Is it because they know citizens don’t have guns there to protect themselves?

Why would they buy guns somewhere else and only shoot up Chicago, why isn’t the cities that they are buying guns in have these problems? It’s not complicated, they have a gang and people (if you can call them that) problem. And he wants a “common sense” discussion? Sounds like he wants to force his version of sense on everyone.
