4 People Were Shot Within 90 Minutes After President Obama Left Chicago, Where He Spoke on Gun Control

President Barack Obama spoke about his new gun control initiatives during a quick visit to his hometown of Chicago Friday, but the violence in one of the most dangerous cities in the United States did not abate.

The Politico relates:

Four separate shootings took place in the span of 90 minutes Friday evening in Chicago, the first coming less than an hour after Air Force One departed O’Hare Airport after President Obama spoke on the culture of gun violence and economic decay that plagues many cities, including his hometown.

An hour earlier, Obama wrapped up a personal speech at Hyde Park Academy on the South Side, where he mourned the killing of Hadiya Pendleton, the teen who visited Washington for his inauguration just a week before she was gunned down not far from the school. “This is not just a gun issue. It’s also an issue of the kinds of communities that we’re building, and for that we all share a responsibility as citizens to fix it,” he said.

Obama had said little about Chicago’s murder problem — there were more than 500 in 2012 — before Friday, instead focusing on mass shootings in his post-Newtown gun control push. But at a high school just two miles away from his Chicago home, he acknowledged the depths of devastation that street violence generated in the city.

“Last year, there were 443 murders with a firearm in this city, and 65 of them were 18 and under. That’s the equivalent of a Newtown every four months,” he said. “That’s precisely why the overwhelming majority of Americans are asking for some common sense proposals to make it harder for criminals to get their hands on a gun.” [Emphasis added]

Chicago already has some of the strictest gun laws in the country, but some legislators say looser gun laws in neighboring states cancel out their efforts.

According to the Chicago Tribune, 3 men and a woman were the victims of Friday night’s 90-minute crime wave. The woman died; the men did not.

Are they not the reason why crime rate is so high? With all the laws and bans on guns there.

Solution: Round up all the gang members in Chicago,take their weapons, jail time, and tell the ACLU to suck wind. Solved. Also concealed carry for law abiding citizens with NO restrictions.

Since Chicago has so much gang violence – like other cities too. Then Why aren’t gang members charged as domestic terrorists? I’ll tell you why. The majority of gangs are blacks and hispanics. IF they are rounded up and charged like terrorists then the called Civil rights organizations would be screaming RACISM. So the liberals would rather let thousands die and blame guns and not the people who use the guns. Ohhh but if the gang members were White then they would be screaming to round them up. pffft.

They keep using “adjacent states have lessor gun laws” so that is where the Chicago thugs get their weapons. But if that is true why don’t the adjacent states have the gun violence issues that Chicago does?

Using basic algebra you can strike “lessor gun laws” out of both sides of the problem…and that leave the simple fact of Chicago criminals are more violent than those in adjacent states. So this is not a multi-state federal issue…it is a CHICAGO CRIME ISSUE.

The Democrats and the Liberal media are all responsible for this mess in America. During the Roosevelt administration and thru the Johnson, Carter, Clinton and now Obama, have told the Black people we, the govt. will do things for you like give you free money, free education, free everything because liberals believe you are too stupid and lazy to do for yourself!! Consequently we have now and had for decades people who have lost all incentive to work and do for themselves, thus relying on the govt. to take care of them. And the main stream media is complicit, by condoning what the democrats have done to the black population and to an extent white and hispanic people also! So now we are witnessing the result of all of this coddling and financing of welfare. Where and when it will end, who knows, but all of America is in danger!

Domestic enemies of the United States Constitution do not build communities, politicians, do not build communities, they are already established in the USA? Gun violence in Chicago is due to the fact that people want to be addicted to feeling good, and are more then willing to sacrifice everything except make the damn stuff legal, even in an age of high tech?

Police and or citizens do not want to enforce the laws in Chicago because of long term apathy due to the drug war that creates an underground economy – tax free? Don’t lecture us about building communities, sir, gun free zones in Mexico are tearing communities apart, at the rate of 60,000 per year, that is rounded to 7 innocent civilians killed in gun free zones in Mexico, every hour?

Domestic enemies of the US Constitution should be shamed, they should be made fun of, if that is what it takes to open their eyes to the error of their ways? Texas and other states are armed to the teeth, and crime is well under control, armed citizens are not running around like zombies, much to the disappointment of the “yell fire in the theatre” media since most of us are NOT in danger, but the stampede to the infringement of the right to bear arms, puts millions in danger?

When you have apathy in Chicago, with the toughest gun laws on the books, violating citizens civil rights, domestic enemies of the US Constitution are to blame? It takes apathy to build a community?

I want to know the numbers of criminals that vote for gun control.

If I remember a survey done in prison 100% of inmate are for gun control.

Hey thier crooks, thieves and murderers, why would they want YOU to have a gun?

Just like; liberals, socialists and polititions, why would they want YOU to have a gun?

This is the FIRST President we’ve had that I believe is Working to Disarm us so that He Can in turn Subjugate us and Rule unoppossed.

We can’t overturn a dictatorship without guns.

  3 cases of black on black shooting and one case of black on white shooting if you go by the statistics.

Why won’t Chicago just create a force to deal with gang violence, They can call them The Police Dept,
They can issue them guns and authority of arrest, pay them a salary with benifits, even have a Commissioner over see daily activities and report to the Mayor, and if they can’t do the job Fire them and find someone who can, Problem solved!

Last year I sold a beautiful house at a loss in central IL specifically to escape their moronic laws and uterly corrupt political system. IL folks are great people; they all know that Chicago’s tentacles extend to every corner of the state.
After living in Chicago, San Francisco, Miami, and Trenton, I can honestly say I’ve never seen anything good come out of an urban or suburban area of the USA. There is little or no concept of self reliance in those areas. My best friend lives in central NJ. Before both Irene and Sandy I offered the use of my generator and trash pump (for flooding). His response? ” It’ll be cool, bunkrboy”. Yup, it’s way cool when your basement sits full of water for almost 2 weeks.
