Surveillance Camera Captures the Dramatic Moment a Security Guard Used an AR-15 to Fend Off Armed Holdup

Dramatic surveillance footage out of the Detroit area shows the heart-stopping moment when a gun-wielding couple stormed into a tax business and started shooting — and a security guard pulled out an AR-15 and drove them away.

The security guard suffered a non-life-threatening wound to the leg and the suspects got away, but otherwise no one was seriously injured in the shootout.

It happened Thursday at a converted home business in Inkster, Mich. A man and woman armed with handguns showed up at the door and announced a holdup, despite the security vehicle parked outside, WJBK-TV reported. The receptionist had gone up to greet them, with the business owner sitting in a chair in the corner. Surveillance footage shows the male suspect pointing a gun at the receptionist’s head, and the security guard scrambling in the back office for the rifle.

“The security guard that was inside returned fire, two shots at the suspect. Did not hit him. The suspects then fled the location,” Inkster, Mich. police Lt. Jeffrey Smith told WJBK. “There was quite a few people inside the location. Very lucky that nobody was seriously injured. The security guard did suffer a wound to the upper leg area, but he’s going to be okay.”

AR-15-style rifles have been at the center of the debate over gun control in the wake of the Newtown, Conn. elementary school massacre.

I know it is Detroit, but why are armed robbers descending on a tax preparation business? Second, why does the facility need armed guards? I have never been to an accountants office or H&R Block that required armed security. Sorry, but something is not right with this story.

WAIT – WAIT – WAIT!

This has to be a fake news report because Doomberg, Deadfish Emanual, Obama, and the ilk have repeatedly said they need to disarm the law-abiding citizen if gun crimes are to completely stopped. With that FACT already on the table, how were the two criminals able to get guns? Is this news report saying that criminals DO NOT obtain their firearms by using background checks?

Tax preparation business???! Yea right. LOL Did you see the dumb woman coming in the door? She couldn’t even get her gun out of her purse, much less use it! (Thank-God)… And the security guard missed!? This is a good video for WHY you should be ready and TRAINED to use your weapon and do NOT miss your target!

Clearly the problem here is taxes. If our government wasn’t sponsoring these difficult and complex tax systems, then this tax preparing office would not have been necessary. It thus would not be a place where people would congregate with large sums of money and it would not have been tempting to criminal activity. Paying and preparing taxes almost cost these people their lives, not to mention the temptation almost cost two otherwise wonderful disenfranchised citizens their lives as well. We must act now to immediately outlaw taxes. If we had not taxes, we would have no greedy politicians. If we had no greedy politicians, we would not need the 2nd amendment and all these guns to protect ourselves from their tyrannical tendencies. History has proven you can’t trust politicians. Stop the madness. De-fund liberals and socialists.

Glad he had an AR15 Personal Defense Rifle and not an assault rifle, imagine all the holes if it was full auto like an assault rifle. This video proves how slow a AR15 is when firing in semi auto, I did not see 30 rounds fly out in 1 second like the left believes.

Funny thing is thugs were probably in there earlier and knew guard was in the back room, he did well for having such a boring mundane job. Too bad others in room did not have guns but instead went into full cower don’t shoot me mode, after guard was killed thugs would probably cap all in room to leave no witness behind.

Remember that was basically a home invasion/business invasion, lucky thugs did not just start blasting. Lady who is going to move should be forming an alliance and network of watching out for each other. Sorry if you live in a city you are in Indian territory and need to adopt a mentality like our pioneer forefathers and arm up and defend each other with a network and respond to each others calls for help. Through our joining of forces we can take back neighborhoods and drop the rat thug population down. Unfortunately most urban dwellers are also part of the thug group mentality. Been there, done that, and left when thugs were out numbering us and we could not own guns. Now live in small town America and am armed with a PD-Personal Defense Rifle with “standard” 30 round magazines. I will never be a victim again.

I don’t see how this is a plus point for the AR 15. The security guard dashing for his gun, was the reason he got shot in the first place and he’s pretty lucky he didn’t kill an innocent bystander blind firing through the wall. A holstered handgun would have done the job, the AR 15 being on the other side of the room was more of liability than anything positive.

The tragic escape of these criminals could likely have been avoided, and Detroit could be a safer place, if only the guard had proper gun training. Now tax money will have to spent to try to find them, and there’s no guarantee that they will be arrested before they strike again.

America needs gun training, and to be properly armed to keep us safe. We’re killing unborn babies, and protecting criminals, what’s wrong with us? Criminals in the act of committing a crime do not deserve any protection, only the innocent deserve that. If someone drew a gun on Obama, the secret service would take them down without hesitation. The common people deserve the same right to protect themselves when someone holds them at gun point.

How is government funded mandatory attendance public education working in your area?

In rural America your community is going extinct at 1% population loss per year.

In urban America your community slums are growing.

In Detroit they are fueling up the bulldozers to level the place and return it to production as farm land.

This is what happens when bad guys see good guys with their AR15′s.It is a perfect home defense weapon.If you are worried about going thru the walls of your home buy the right ammo to frag out but,it will still take care of the invader.The two criminals set new 40yd dash records.LOL
