Dramatic surveillance footage out of the Detroit area shows the heart-stopping moment when a gun-wielding couple stormed into a tax business and started shooting — and a security guard pulled out an AR-15 and drove them away.
The security guard suffered a non-life-threatening wound to the leg and the suspects got away, but otherwise no one was seriously injured in the shootout.
It happened Thursday at a converted home business in Inkster, Mich. A man and woman armed with handguns showed up at the door and announced a holdup, despite the security vehicle parked outside, WJBK-TV reported. The receptionist had gone up to greet them, with the business owner sitting in a chair in the corner. Surveillance footage shows the male suspect pointing a gun at the receptionist’s head, and the security guard scrambling in the back office for the rifle.
“The security guard that was inside returned fire, two shots at the suspect. Did not hit him. The suspects then fled the location,” Inkster, Mich. police Lt. Jeffrey Smith told WJBK. “There was quite a few people inside the location. Very lucky that nobody was seriously injured. The security guard did suffer a wound to the upper leg area, but he’s going to be okay.”
AR-15-style rifles have been at the center of the debate over gun control in the wake of the Newtown, Conn. elementary school massacre.

God is our strength and thats what this country was built on and we need to have the Faith and Will to take it back the majority needs to be the majority not the opposite. We cant sit back anymore and think things will work themselves out STAND UP TRUE AMERICANS AND TAKE OUR COUNTRY BACK!!! its deeper than just the politicians but it starts by uprooting them. We the People!!! we r supposed to be in control, and common sense is supposed to be…I do know that prayer is very powerful and we all need to pray for our country and our politicians.

2. The security patrol truck s parked outside.
3. Shoot through the wall? What did that sight picture look like?

Feb. 16, 2013 at 5:11pmLooked sort of like a Polish Tantal side-folder to me, but the video isn’t very clear. At any rate, I don’t think it was an AR-15. Maybe a pistol caliber carbine? Either way, it did it’s job and once again a victim evened the odds and prevailed against a criminal.

Feb. 16, 2013 at 4:23pmGeez, the security guard’s vehicle has a big, “CONCEALED WEAPONS PERMIT,” sticker on the side of it. Kinda negates the whole, “concealed,” idea. Is that a local gov requirement for security guards who have a carry license, or is that someone’s bad idea for advertising?
These criminals were probably not after money so much as, “identities”.

Feb. 16, 2013 at 4:23pmBe glad he had the AR-15 (which is NOT an assault weapon)! It looks mean! It is a heck of a lot easier to aim correctly than a handgun. And, it accomplished its mission, which was to protect the premises without hurting anyone who was supposed to be in the establishment! If the guard had just a handgun, he would not have looked half as intimidating, and when he fell, he might have lost the weapon or fired it in a random direction! The AR-15 stayed in his hands, pointed at the perps! It apparently had the desired effect on the perps! Too bad they turned and ran or he could have used a few more than 2 rounds!

The perps ought to get an extended sentence for incompetent brandishing and operation of a firearm in the commission of a felony! Why don’t they go steal an airplane or something? I’m sure they’d have better results than with their gun! I’ll bet they did well in school! They should have to pay back the county for wasting education dollars on them! The security guard needs a new pair of sneakers! Better yet, a pair of in-line skates, so he can chase them down! He stayed on mission and really saved the day for everyone! Those perps owe their lives to him! Once they ran, he stopped shooting! That first round through the wall was genius! Too bad it wasn’t aimed a little better. He probably twitch-fired the first round as he switched the safety off! Good thing it was loaded and ready to fire! Courage in the face of chaos! Give that man a cigar!

The male obamanite wore an extra long shirt so it would hide the fecal bulge in the back of his britches as he fled for his life. As usual, the criminals were counting on immediate submission, and they ran when they met resistance. It probably wouldn’t have mattered where the guard fired his weapon, as the sound of even one shot was more resistance than the obamanites were prepared to deal with. Like all obamanites, they wanted the easy money.

I’ll bet her Obamaphone got in the way of her Obamagun! Oh yes! He wants to restrict or outlaw LEGAL guns, so the only people with the firepower are the ones with illegal guns–Obamaguns! Heck, I’ve even bet when they start confiscating weapons, they’ll have a program so even the poor can have a free gun for their ‘protection’; one that used to belong to someone who knew how to use it!

If he is resouceful, he’ll go to the local variety store, buy a frame and hang it over the bullet-hole. He might even take a picture and put it on his business card and shingle out front! “The tax service that isn’t afraid to shoot for you!” I hope his business goes up 100%! By the way, the stupid neighbor that wants to move doesn’t realize she NOW lives in the safest neighborhood in town! She should buy herself a gun and do her part for neighborhood security!
