Farrakhan Claims God Sent Recent Winter Storm ‘Calamities’ to Punish His Critics — And Here’s His Bizarre Logic

The Minister Louis Farrakhan’s official news outlet, Final Call, recently released a dramatic video claiming that a “prophetic warning” from the Nation of Islam (NOI) leader foresaw Winter Storm Nemo and a series of tornadoes that raged earlier this month. These weather patterns — referred to by Final Call as “nature’s fury” — are purportedly evidence of God’s defense of Farrakhan as well as his wrath upon humanity.

The faith leader is using the storms and his alleged predictions to urge people to heed his warnings about Allah’s allegedly destructive plans for America. On Feb. 2, in the fourth installment of his 52-week sermon series, “The Time and What Must Be Done,” Farrakhan warned that God was going to punish his critics.

In particular, he named snow, tornadoes and floods as tools that the Lord would soon be using and promised that these events would unfold shortly after he issued his video message. In a special clip that followed this sermon, Farrakhan used news reports about the storms and dramatic music in an effort to convince viewers that the NOI leader’s warnings came to fruition just five days after his initial claims about God’s plans.

While it’s clear that the faith leader believes that he predicted snow and tornadoes and that these storms were sent by God in his defense, many would argue that the winter months are prone to unpredictable and dangerous weather.

Had Farrakhan issued his “prophetic warning” in the summer and a snowstorm had followed, it’s likely he would have had a few more ears.

“You are not going to let us know, so God is going to contend with you. I don’t think you can win that one, for the scripture says he has treasured up snow in the North for that great day of battle,” the faith leader warned in his Feb. 2 message. “You haven’t seen snow like you’re going to see it. You can’t fight God and win. He turns nature against you and he’s doing that as we speak.”

In the cryptic warning, Farrakhan also told viewers that God would soon increase calamities in an effort to punish those who have spoken out against the faith leader.

“When you plan against me, the plan is already against you and to prove it he’s going to increase the calamities shortly after you hear this message,” he continued.

At the end of the video, after Farrakhan attempted to make the point that he is God’s messenger and that the Lord is willing to punish society in his defense. Text on the screen read, ”Now will you listen?”

Watch the clip, below:

This is the latest in a stream of bizarre messages coming from the controversial faith leader. Recently he accused the U.S. government of trying to kill billions, while also claiming that the Second Amendment doesn’t mean that the American public should be “armed to the teeth.”

Farrakhan’s Recent Claims:

In CONTROL, Glenn Beck presents a passionate, fact-based case for guns that reveals why gun control isn’t really about controlling guns at all; it’s about controlling us. Find out more HERE.

    1. Every dime sent to an Islamic state supports the religion of Islam, violating the 1st amendment of the United States Constitution?

    2. Redefining an establishment of religion called marriage, with interference from the state, by redefining its definition, violates the civil rights of citizens, which George Washington WARNED US TO RESIST?

    3. Handing out money to rich, fat cat political buddies to limit insurance liabilities, was WARNED BY GEORGE WASHINGTON TO RESIST IT?

How many people would move out of high risk areas, if the rest of the country stopped sacrificing their business, family, and vacation monies to these taxes?

Anybody notice how all these agitators live? They all seem to live lavishly, nicely coiffed, nicely dressed, and very well fed. Everything they point out that is wrong with America. If they moved to some other place on the planet and point at America’s rot I’d think that they mean it but just like Bin Laden, they get their low information followers to do their bidding. These guys are nothing more than well dressed Charles Mansons hoping to get their sheeple to go out and do their will on America.

BLACK, Thank you for your thoughts. But I really need your prayers.

You are right, sometimes I am arrogant, but much of “that” is tongue in cheek. You can’t see my grin.

I moderated a theological debate forum for 15 years and I’ve been round and round on just about any topic you can think of, and I’m sure I’ve heard it all. But, I don’t clam to “know: anything, because I’m just a sinful human just like everyone else with my own biases.

Isn’t this entertainment for us all? (why are we all here otherwise?) But I only “argue” about topics I’m reasonably certain of.

And I’m reasonably certain the groups I mentioned above are false prophets, heretics and teachers, based upon what I think I know about them.

You are welcome to disagree with me and even prove me wrong if you can, and please do if you think I am wrong. And I will “try” and love you as John instructs us, even if we are debate enemies.

Catfish: There are no adulterers in Heaven is true. That doesn’t mean there aren’t people there that have committed adultery. You can’t take verses like that in isolation from the rest of scripture. King David, “a man after God’s own heart,” committed adultery and conspired to have Bathsheba’s husband killed, AND he was a Jew. I am confident David is in Heaven. When confronted with his sin by Nathan, he repented. None of us are instantly made perfect. Christ came into the world to save sinners. That is the good news.

Is King David in heaven? Does the Bible confirm that?
I don’t want to cause any difficulties here, but only those who are in a covenant relationship with Jesus, the Christ, are to be in heaven with Jesus, the King of God’s kingdom.

King David lived and died before the arrival of the Christ, so he is not in line to be in heaven.

David will be resurrected to live again on the earth during God’s Kingdom. – Psalms 37:11

Haven’t really thought about that. I have always thought all beleivers from the beginning have been saved by faith and therefore go to be with God. Those before Christ believing in His first advent to come and those afterward believing in His first advent in retrospect. The promise of Christ was made in the Garden.

I often point out that one of the biggest reasons we can trust the Bible is its unfakeable prophecy. To which people often ask, what is unfakeable? Well, if it helps define what something is by pointing out what isn’t… Here’s a great example of easily fakeable “prophecy”. :P

This is all that the false religions have. None compare to the Bible, often exactly predicting the rise and fall of empires and other major, specific world events, and especially the highly specific Christ prophecies (many of them outside his control if he was just a mere human baby, for example). But by contrast, anybody can predict “nature’s fury” and then point to whatever bad weather comes next.
