Why Is Mexico Asking the U.S. Senate for a Registry of U.S. Gun Owners?
Mexican lawmakers will ask the U.S. Senate to create a registry of all commercialized firearms in border states, which includes California, Arizona, New Mexico, and Texas. Mexico says it will make it easier to trace guns used in violent attacks.
The measure was reportedly approved on January 9 by Mexico’s Permanent Commission, a government entity that meets when Mexico’s Senate and the Chamber of Deputies is in recess. Gun owners in Arizona are calling the proposal “foolish” and an “invasion of privacy.”
Watch KPHO-TV’s report below:
A number of the gun owners interviewed by KPHO-TV also referenced the Obama administration’s disastrous gun-running operation known as “Fast and Furious.”
The operation, conducted by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF), allowed illegal straw buyers to walk across the border with nearly 2,000 firearms, including semi-automatic rifles. The weapons ultimately ended up in the hands of Mexican drug cartel members and were used in a number of crimes, including murders and kidnappings.
Further, a gun from Fast and Furious was found at the murder scene of U.S. Border Agent Brian Terry in December of 2010.
Democrats in Congress have been calling for a ban on semi-automatic rifles and universal background checks for all firearms sales, some even calling for a national gun registry. Further, Democrats in Missouri and California have proposed bills that would result in the possible confiscation of semi-automatic rifles.
TheBlaze has reached out to several members of the U.S. Senate and will update this story as new information becomes available.
In CONTROL, Glenn Beck presents a passionate, fact-based case for guns that reveals why gun control isn’t really about controlling guns at all; it’s about controlling us. I was not aware that the Constitution was about Wrights[sic].
Maybe I should have been educated by you, since you seem to be a Constitutional Scholar. (sarcasm)
Actually Einstein, the Constitution is the rules of the trust, ONLY to be followed by the TRUSTEES, NOT the PEOPLE !!!!
“Government is a trust, and the officers of the government are trustees. And both the trust and the trustees are created for the benefit of the people.”
– Henry Clay
Since you are a constitutional scholar who understands our Wrights[sic], I shall have no need to explain to you who Henry Clay was.
I am not going anywhere. This is MY COUNTRY !!!!
Whether or not I am doing something “wrong” is NONE of your Business.
If you ever have another beneficiary with a claim of damages, seeking redress from me, then we shall have an “issue”. Until then, you and your “government” will be left in the dark as to what I am doing. lol.
The “Government” will no longer know my “business”

@michaelmoron you are the most stupid person i’ve ever known. the constitution it’s not only about wrights, it’s also about responsibilities. if you are part of a community you need to contribute to the management of it, if you don’t like it, you go to **** your self to venezuela were nobody pays taxes. and if you’re not doing something wrong, why are you so scared to give your information to the government? are you planing doing something against the authorities? the information is not to protect you, is to protect all of us from people like you. moron.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
There are no authorities. Just Indentured Public Servants aka TRUSTEES.
The ONLY time a trustee (Law enforcement officer) has authority over me is when there is a claim against me from a person who is seeking redress for damages.
This is exactly why I would tell ODUMBO to go Fu@k himself if he told me to dance or sing for him.
HE HAS NO AUTHORITY OVER ME !!!!
It painfully obvious how you have been ideologically subverted by your public education and the Main Stream Media.
Just study Law and REAL American history for a few years, and you will have some understanding of what is going on. This should rectify the problem and reverse your indoctrination.
The reason it grants authority to the people to abolish the Government is because under trust law the GRANTORS / EXECUTORS (We the People) can fire trustees and rewrite the rules of the trust (The Constitution)
Under Trust law, a Trustee has NO Authority over a Beneficiary and is subservient to the Grantor.
Under Trust Law, One can be a GRANTOR and BENEFICIARY.
Under trust law, One can NEVER be a TRUSTEE and a BENEFICIARY or GRANTOR at the same time.
I also think since we Norteamericanos, cannot legally own property in !Mexico, neither should Mexican nationals here, be allowed to own real property.
Tax ALL wire transfers to Mexico at 20%, let those who economically support !Mexico, pay for our border fences and controls. Ban all foreign aid of any kind to !Mexico, they do not need it, and it only goes to enrich a very few. Screw Mexico and it’s citizens, who cares what “they” want anymore?
Posted on February 19, 2013 at 4:02pmMexican Drug Cartels have been using active and former Mexican Military to do Home Invasions and murders inside the United States. 2008 (Phoenix Home Invasion) assassination of a Jamaican drug dealer by heavily armed and tactical geared Mexican Nationals. You cannot blame Mexico. The only ones to blame for this is the current US Administration.
Barry Obama, Eric Holder, and the rest of the band of 40 thieves are responsible for providing illegal firearms to Mexican Drug Cartels. This failed Operation “Fast and Furious” resulted in the death on US and Mexican Citizens. This administration should be held responsible and Mexico should file charges against this lot with the ICJ.
There was never a plan to follow these Firearms (read on this operation.)The whole plan was to make it look like to the world that US citizens were buying and selling firearms to Mexican Drug Cartels. This way the current administration could shut down legal FFL holders and ban assault weapons. Why has no one asked about “Operation Castaway” – same as “Fast and Furious” but firearms where sent to Central and South America. These Firearms have been used in numerous murders.
We must draw the line in the sand, here and now.
I look for legislation from all States bordering Mexico except Anti American California. I would like to see a Governors meeting between all Border States except California, to discuss this current situation.
Seriously with high tech monitoring and “license requirements” you could legalize drugs, or at least stop trying to save people that don’t want to be saved, because innocent people are getting killed including law enforcement officers?
What’s the competition? Long term drug users that manage their addictions? The porn industry that has people doing things they would never do sober? If people are going to die whether this stuff is legal or not, why not manage it better? Why not license requirements that you go to an autopsy of someone with lung cancer if you want to smoke tobacco, or anything else?
Yup, in your town, licence drug use, and as part of the license, you are required to go to autopsies of previous licensed users that died? You can only have drugs on the weekend? When ever we find a discrepancy, we can bill the Mexican government. If any illegal Mexican aliens do anything that costs the American Taxpayer money, we could bill the Mexican government as well. This would include education, healthcare, welfare, incarceration, and everything else, for which we foot the bill. These people are Mexican citizens, as well as citizens of other countries. The country of origin should have to pay for all expenses incurred by their citizens…or come get ‘em and take ‘em home. If the individual countries won’t pay, we should deduct it from our U.N. dues.
We should insist that all illegal Americans who have illegally entered other countries be subject to the same rules.
Posted on February 19, 2013 at 11:46am@ Texas: acually, it is the other way around…The UN has always had problems with members refusing to pay the assessment levied upon them under the United Nations Charter. But the most significant refusal in recent times has been that of the U.S. Since 1985 the U.S. Congress has refused to authorize payment of the U.S. dues, in order to force UN compliance with U.S. wishes, as well as a reduction in the U.S. assessment.[13]
After prolonged negotiations, the U.S. and the UN negotiated an agreement whereby the United States would pay a large part of the money it owes, and in exchange the UN would reduce the assessment rate ceiling from 25% to 22%. The reduction in the assessment rate ceiling was among the reforms contained in the 1999 Helms-Biden legislation, which links payment of $926 million in U.S. arrears to the UN and other international organizations to a series of reform benchmarks.[citation needed]
U.S. arrears to the UN currently total over $1.3 billion…
Posted on February 18, 2013 at 3:49pmThose Mexicans sure do like our guns huh? They have a great interest in our guns,what’s the problem you didn’t get enough guns from Holder now you want to try and take them as well? There’s plenty of us armed so it’s going to be a real bitch for you to take them,you can try of course.
Posted on February 18, 2013 at 3:48pmA war is coming in the next decade. It’s either a race war or a war with China, Russia or the Muslims but you can bet its coming.
With the left trying harder and harder to conficate guns and create a national registry. The Mexicans asking for a list proxy for another country or reason.
Wake up and get armed.
Exactly right. The cruise ship incident is a great example of how soft the city minded have become. A toilet not flushing for 18 hours is not Armageddon.
Posted on February 18, 2013 at 3:45pmMexico’s violent crime problem does not come from legal registered gun owners in the US. It comes from the crooked and cowardly Mexican government who let the drug cartels run the country!! WAKE UP MEXICO!!!
Posted on February 18, 2013 at 3:42pmStrange, all they really have to ask for is a registry of all of the firearms that the BATF under Eric Holder intentionally released into Mexico, in order to help with trace back to crime. Maybe they should ask Holder and Obama for their list of serial numbers.
Posted on February 19, 2013 at 6:39pmWould not surprise me if Mexico has been asked to do this by some agency in our own government. I saw where somebody had suggested they were a proxy for another country but haven’t seen where they may be our proxy.
Posted on February 18, 2013 at 3:39pmSo how much resistance will our government put up to giving Mexico information on individual U.S. gun owners? I think that all firearms owners being forced by Federal law to register their firearms is coming, either through Federal law or by U.S. leaders signing the U.N. small arms treaty which would result in mandatory firearms registration. Unfortunately many of our government leaders consider the 2nd amendment is outdated and should be ignored if not repealed.
Posted on February 18, 2013 at 3:46pmHow can they force me to register a firearm. Technically speaking, they have no idea what or even if I own one, outside of hearsay. Register? Nah, not gonna happen, I’ll pass, thanks.
Posted on February 18, 2013 at 4:24pmGhost, if you ever got one from a shop and had to do paperwork, the yellow fed form(-4473?) is on file. The 1974 privacy act says they should be private and for BATFE us only, but not with this current crowd.
There will be an “event” that sets it off. Planned or not, it will set into motion a sequence of events that will not be reversible.
