Top Obama Aide Axelrod Hired By…MSNBC

NEW YORK (TheBlaze/AP) — David Axelrod, former strategist and aide to President Obama, has landed a new job at NBC News.
The network said Tuesday that Axelrod is joining as a senior political analyst. He’ll contribute to broadcasts on both NBC News and the cable network MSNBC.
Axelrod helped run Obama’s successful campaigns in 2008 and 2012 and worked as an adviser to the president during his first term. The former political writer and columnist for the Chicago Tribune started his own political and media consulting firm in 1984.
NBC already employs Steve Schmidt, a top adviser to Obama’s 2008 opponent John McCain, as an analyst.
But given Axelrod’s coziness to the White House, TheAtlantic Wire put out a story with the headline, “How Much Is Obama Controlling the Message on MSNBC?”
Here’s what writer Connor Simpson wrote:
And while the news funneling out of the White House might be heavy on spin, the spin zone is increasingly populated by guys who used to work in the White House. The administration couldn’t control the timing of the announcement, on the same morning that the Politico report was boiling over, that David Axelrod will join NBC and MSNBC as a “senior political analyst.” Axelrod, a longtime Obama advisor and MSNBC favorite, officially left his Senior Advisor job at the White House in 2011 to work on the 2012 campaign, but he’s been a vocal supporter of his old boss from the political pasture every since. He’s supported the President, on television or on Twitter, on guns, on immigration reform promises, and on that whole skeet-shooting controversy that’s at the center of how the Obama administration beats off-message messages with its own message. (Flickr photo + Axelrod tweet = end of controversy, goes the thinking.) Axelrod he did say that the immigration bill leak was a dumb idea — on MSNBC, no less!
“…[T]he administration certainly knows its message, its people, its social media, and its fading need for a White House press corps when it has guys like Axe and Gibbs to unofficially lean the right way on a left-leaning network,” he concluded.
In CONTROL, Glenn Beck presents a passionate, fact-based case for guns that reveals why gun control isn’t really about controlling guns at all; it’s about controlling us. Who do these rats think we are? Who believes this garbage?
How many Radical Marxist Jews do you have to see come out from behind Obama to understand Blaze readers? Seriously are you really that dumb? Please tell me that you have brains. Your ignorance is really beginning to scare me..
My faith rides in the good conservative people of America understanding the truth but I’m gettting closer and closer to the point of thinking it may be time to get the hell out before these evildoers actually do to America like they did to Russia and attempted in Germany.
Not gonna be pleasant especially when you don’t even understand who your enemy is…

In the 80s ‘heinz’ tried to get ketchup designated a vegetable for the purposes of school lunch programs. In the process the Democrats sang the sang the tired chorus ‘Ronald Reagan?” was trying to starve black babies. RR had nothing to do with it. Heinz just wanted schools to quadruple their ketchup output at the hands of the jackbooted thug.

Posted on February 19, 2013 at 12:48pmMr.Whipple goes to MSNBC huh? makes sense because MSNBC and 99.9999999% of the so called ‘media’ in this country has been nothing but a mouthpiece for this regime since they subverted the constitution. Mr.Whipple can continue his BS lies to the drones who eagerly lap it up and believe every word of it.

Posted on February 19, 2013 at 1:04pmI often think about how taxpayers ultimately pay for a majority of these industries through different Ponzi schemes. Either through taxes or social payments. I think if more people thought like that then more people would care about what the government is actually putting the taxpayers money to use on.

Sean hannity is as right wing as you can get. 4 of the five on The Five are right wing. thr three stooges on fox and friends are all right wing. megan kelly is once of the most right wing and racist people who is on fox news. not so fair and balanced are they? MSNBC is no different. just the other side of the fence. far left extreme crap. but don’t call out one while ignoring the other. msnbc has no viewers. who cares who they hire.

Posted on February 19, 2013 at 2:32pmTHE_WOOFSTER, That just reminds me of Greg Gutfield’s comment on The Five a few weeks ago after 0bama had given a few speeches where he had complained about Fox News in each. He said “0bama complaining about Fox, is like a football player complaining about the only cheerleader that will not put out for him.” That statement still stands true.
