Al Gore Pushes Climate Change On… Jeopardy? Here’s the Video Evidence

Al Gore Pushes Climate Change on Jeopardy

Former Vice President Al Gore gestures at the John F. Kennedy Presidential Library and Museum in Boston, Tuesday, Feb. 5, 2013, as he speaks about his new book called “The Future: Six Drivers of Global Change.” Gore won a 2007 Nobel Peace Prize for efforts to raise awareness about climate change. Former vice president Al Gore appeared on an episode of “Jeopardy!” to plug his new book called “The Future” and continue his crusade against so-called man-made climate change.

“The future. I’m Al Gore and that’s the title of my new book about what’s driving the enormous changes reshaping our civilization, our planet, and ourselves,” Gore said.

He then provided the following clues to contestants:

World power hangs in the balance as this nation surges forward; in 2010 it ended the USA’s century-old standing as the no. 1 manufacturing nation. (Answer: China)

Looking to the future, we can’t ignore the climate crisis as we’ve done too often since back in 1859 when an Irish scientist noted the heat-trapping effect of this molecule. (Answer: Carbon dioxide)

The global economy is being transformed into Earth INC. by the mechanization of human jobs and this practice of moving jobs from industrial to developing economies. (Answer: Outsourcing)

Population and economic growth threaten our natural resources; one example is he erosion of this, the upper 6 inches of farming land that provides 99% of human food. (Answer: Top soil)

When the future seems gloomy, think of the work of Ilya Prigogine, who said that a system open to new ideas and influences can reform itself in his nobel-winning corollary to the second law of these. (Answer: Thermodynamics)

Watch the video below:

As it turns out, not even “Jeopardy!” is safe from Gore’s climate change lectures. He has come under fire recently for selling Current TV to Al-Jazeera, which relies partly on oil profits to operate. According to Gore, big oil is a big part of the problem when it comes to climate change.

Looking to the future, we can’t ignore the climate crisis… Like I have with my electric bill more than 20 times the national average.

More electricity is wasted (putting “carbon” is put into the atmosphere making solar panels (etc)) than those solar panels will ever generate. The grid is forced to generate huge amounts of electricity to melt, form, drill, package, ship, etc the raw materials into a solar array than that array will ever produce over its lifetime (we are front loading the atmosphere now with carbon making solar panels that will not generate anywhere near as much electricity as it took to make them). Additionally, it will cost money to maintain them and replace the batteries (their life cycle is half the solar array’s projected life cycle of 25 years… at which time they too will have to be replaced again and a tremendous cost as electricity will be exponentiall higher in the future).

The electric cars are not really electric they are coal powered now (that is how the majority of the power is generated and that will not change because solar and wind power is too expensive… its too expensive because the materials required to build and replace them continues to go up and up).

Its a failed policy to front load the atmosphere with carbon to make devices that will never generate the amount of electricity it takes to make them… that is how stupid democrats pushing the alarm about carbon in the air as they are the ones exponentially adding the carbon.

      A. A house used a few kilowatts of electricity a day. (that equates to a couple dollars a day, most of it taxes/fees/wages/medical/pensions not the cost of actual fuel)… that equats to about a thousand dollars a year… 20,000-30,000 dollars over twenty years (with inflation).

      B. If you buy solar panels for that same home (decades of carbon must be dumped into the atmosphere to mine, melt, smelt, grind, cut, transprot, etc the material to make the panels (not to mention wages, medical, taxes/fees/licenses/ etc)… ultimately panels that generat a few killowatts cost over 100,000 dollars and might last last 20 years (not counting maintenence, replacement parts, taxes/permits etc) and after 20 years they will need to be replaced as they will no longer be producing electricity at the same rate fresh off the assembly line.

…which of the above is cost affective??? Now you know why the democrats want solar panels, because they can’t do simple math, oh yeah, and they are morons.

Leave it to democrats to champion something that ACCELERATES polution… so they can complain and finger point, look at all the polution…

…if all the low information voters would stop jumping (like trained circus animals) whenever a democrat tries selling snake oil… oh what a wonderful place this would be.

Al Gore, who does he claim to be today? Is he a scientist? Is he even qualified to discuss this subject? The only way he knows hot nfrom cold is due to the fact that it written on the tub controls. I will bet you that he has not the first clue as to climate mutation. This is the real reason for the change in climate. Al needs to disapear.

It’s been going on since the beginning of time: “what is climate change”
It’s been going up and down a degree or 2, but has remained relatively constant: “what is climate change”
In the 70s it was known as: “What is 4 years till catastrophic ice age”
In the 90s it was change to: “What is global warming”
In the year 2002 this farcical phenomena changed names from “global warming” to: “What is climate change”
In the early 2000s it was found to use 200 times the normal energy rates of the average American family: “What is Algores house”
In the previous 2 decades it has been found to have burned 4 million gallons of fossil fuel: “What is algores private jet”
