NBC News’ chief White House correspondent Chuck Todd said Tuesday that it’s a “mythology” that there’s an anti-conservative media.
Todd was on MSNBC’s “Morning Joe” and lamented the fact that there are “fewer and fewer Republicans that will go on non-Fox shows.
“I think that the mythology of the big, bad non-conservative media has gotten into some offices,” Todd said. “There’s this fear of, ‘oh we can’t do, we can’t do anything that’s not [Fox]‘…I feel like it’s a mythology that now younger staffers believe and then it infuses, and then these guys, they actually believe the spin that’s out there, ‘oh my God, that’s what the mainstream media does, they do anything to disrupt the conservative agenda.’”
He continued, “And so literally, you only–[South Carolina Sen. Lindsey Graham], John McCain, you know, that’s been my, I just fear that it’s sort of like this whole, there’s this whole sort of this, the mythology of this, that the media’s out to get conservatives is believed among more and more actual staffers.”

Feb. 20, 2013 at 7:01pmThe myth here is saying NBC is a news source. All Democrats flock to NBC, CBS, ABC, MSNBC for interviews because they know that there will be **** ball questions. Let them go to Fox and watch them squirm in their seats. Of all network reporters and interviews, I would believe what Scott Pelly (CBS) would say. I think he is an upright person. MSNBC has the bottom of the barrel as prime timers.

Look at the lack of interest in Benghazi? Look at no budget accountability? Look at Russian newspapers slandering the US? Look at Chinese diplomats telling other nations you can’t trust US politicians? Look at Al Gore hallucinating about the planet, meanwhile every third world nation is trying to get out of the ghetto?
Look at the Wah Wah moment? Look at cameras throwing grieving mothers on film, even though the majority of Americans are safe and sound, they yell “fire in the theatre” with the camera lenses? Look at the coverage of the CEO of the NRA? Look at how they laugh at Rush Limbbaugh? Look at how they invent racism that does not exist?
Look at how they avoid the conversation of 40% of children without fathers, or the fact that women are incapable of creating another life form as “part of their body” (it’s an alien life form, you are the host)? Look at the prison system and how it is bankrupting California, but they want to pass even more gun laws that they acknowledge won’t work?
Joe Biden suggests we defend ourselves with shotguns made from the 1800s?
You can cuss and fuss,
you can pout and plead,
but you can’t blame media greed,
on conservative, and be believed?
You see its not the story,
it’s not the glory,
its about being American,
that’s obligatory?
America is more than a flag,
its being a dad?

NBC edits tapes (Caught NUMEROUS times) to make Conservatives look like racists. CNN continually insulting conservatives, as well as ABC, CBS, WAPO, NYT, etc….. But he doesn’t understand why Conservatives will not go on other News Outlets besides FOX News.

Feb. 20, 2013 at 3:10pmThe only problem with the concept that it’s mythology, is that prominent people like john stossel who’ve been part of the industry for decades not only confirm that there is bias, but that it’s actually far worse than people even think it is. Add to that the fact the multitude of instances the main stream media have been caught either reporting innacurate stories or actually fabricating patently false stories about people and groups, all of which just happen to be conservatives and/or republicans.

Without direct interviews, they will be left with need for more research and will have to work much harder at the strategy of denigration. Liberal voice is so dependent on distortion and outright lies. Without the material to work against, they lose a major tool in the toolkit. Conservatives avoid liberal media to prevent distortion. Liberals avoid conservative media to avoid exposure.
