15 of the Most Bizarre Purchases Jesse Jackson Jr. Made With Embezzled Campaign Cash

Here Are 15 Things Jesse Jackson Jr. Used Campaign Cash To Buy

Jesse Jackson Jr. (Getty Images)

Former Congressman Jesse Jackson Jr. admitted Wednesday to embezzling approximately $750,000 in campaign funds — and now faces more than two years in prison and a fine of up to $100,000, the AP notes.

“I did these things,” Jackson, 47, told a federal judge yesterday, adding later, “Sir, for years I lived in my campaign.”

What did he spend all that money on? Education? Medical bills? Cars? Nope! The bulk of it was spent on luxury items and knickknacks.

So, without any further introduction, here are the 15 most fabulous things the disgraced former congressman bought with stolen campaign funds, according to official court documents:

This is the judge who’ll be sentencing Jackson Jr.

“Court papers filed Wednesday disclosed Wilkins’ support for Rev. Jackson’s presidential campaign in 1988. Wilkins wrote that he has no bias or personal interest in the case, but was willing to step aside if attorneys requested.

“In 1988, while a law student, Judge Wilkins served as a co-chair of Harvard Law School students supporting the presidential campaign of Rev. Jesse L. Jackson, Sr., and on October 24, 1988, Judge Wilkins introduced Rev. Jackson when he came to speak at a campus event supporting the presidential candidacy of Governor Michael Dukakis. On March 21, 1999, while an attorney, Judge Wilkins appeared as a guest on a show hosted by Rev. Jackson on the CNN network entitled ‘Both Sides with Jesse Jackson’ to discuss a civil rights lawsuit in which Judge Wilkins was a plaintiff. Judge Wilkins believes that he has spoken to Rev. Jackson only on these two occasions, and he does not believe that he has ever met or spoken to the two defendants in these cases.”

However, prosecutors and defense attorneys did not object to keeping Wilkins as the judge for the case, and signed waivers indicating it wasn’t necessary for Wilkins to step down from the case.

I knew something was up when the media started telling us how he was “mentally Ill’ .When will the other shoe drop-i thought? sure enough he went to a mental hospital in anticipation of the law going after him for being a crook. Now he’s verifiably” mentally ill” and will get a light sentence .That’s what that was all about and watch how the media buys it.!

So let me see if my math is correct here. He steals $750,000.00. Get’s two years in a cushy Federal Lockup, and gets fined only $100,000.00.

$750,000.00 minus the $100,000.00 fine equals $650,000.00 for two years “enforced” vacation time. That equals him getting a salary of $325,000.00 a year. Sounds like a pretty good gig to me.

The latest talk is that whites created places/systems for whites. Well I would ask what black run city would you want to move to? Detroit? New Orleans? Chicago? Washington DC? All cesspools of corruption and deterioration. Affirmative action has done nothing but give them a green light to steal taxpayer dollars until the country is destroyed. There are many wonderful black people, that is not my point, it is that the lowest of the low among them get all the media attention and win elections because the media/Progressives want the dependency society that they can bribe for votes. They not only do not promote honor, decency, integrity, and good character, they actively promote just the opposite. Jessie Jr.is not an anomaly, he was born, taught, encouraged to be exactly what he is. The only thing they are ever sorry about is getting caught. You will NOT hear the press shame anyone for lying, cheating, stealing, graft or corruption in the black community, au contraire, they fete and celebrate them. All of society is falling prey to the same philosophy.

Just like William Jefferson of Louisiana who stuffed $50K in his freezer, we must understand the plight of black folks. See, Mr. Jackson Jr. was being held down by “da man” aka whitey. Whitey and his racism made him do it. Yeah, that’s it, that’s the ticket. White racism made William Jefferson stuff money in his freezer and it made Jackson Jr. buy a bunch of frivolous things. Wasn’t their fault, it’s whitey’s fault. Whitey and racism.

      @BFrezza, and Bluebonnet
This is exactly what the s.e.c. does to people that naked short stocks, and use insider trading.

They cheat money out of hard working investors, and run bear raids on chosen co.’s that bankrupts the people, and/or the co.’s then they get a little ” we’ll make it look like we did something to punish you” wink-wink scenario. Cheat $100mil from investors/co.’s, and pay a $100k fine, then walk away with 99,900,000.00 profit.

What a concept, and now they use the same scenario for the liberal communist they want to take care of.

They need to confiscate $750,000 worth of property from him, and then put his @-$-$ in jail, ban him from ever holding public office in any form any where.

DeOppressoLiber, all you have to do is look at Washington D.C.’s Marion Barry… Barry came to national prominence as mayor of the national capital, the first prominent civil-rights activist to become chief executive of a major American city; he gave the presidential nomination speech for Jesse Jackson at the 1984 Democratic National Convention. His celebrity transformed into international notoriety in January 1990, when Barry was videotaped smoking crack cocaine and arrested by FBI officials on drug charges. The arrest and subsequent trial precluded Barry seeking re-election, and Barry served six months in a federal prison. After his release, however, he was elected to the D.C. city council in 1992 and ultimately returned to the mayoralty in 1994, serving from 1995 to 1999.

If that had been a caucasian person, there is no way on God’s green earth he would have ever been re-elected. Now, please tell me that isn’t racism in the first degree, just like Obama winning 95% of the Black vote.

It is only racism if you’re white.

AS a black man i say ” dont drop the soap and goodbye”. People like him, his father , Roy Ennis and Al Sharpton are a disgrace to civil rights movement as well as black people as a whole. They feed of the stupity of folks in the ghetto ( much as folks on the right feed of the trailer park types) to line thier pockets and do nothing to help anyone but themselves. I have spoken on the phoen wiht Al Sharton when i was 13 ( my father was in civil rights) and the guy is an actor. Even his speaking voice is differnt than what he uses on TV, he is as fake as his straight hair.

Sharton, JAckson and Ennis do not speak for black people, they speak for folks in the ghetto with no sense that happen to be black.

It’s all an ego-boosting act that boils down to “show me the money” on many sides and all races. A police officer friend of mine who hung out with Jesse Jackson Sr for a while due to his security detail a few years ago said they had a good time, BS’d about football a lot, and he felt Jackson was someone you could go have a beer with as long as there was no politics involved.

I wonder if PETA will be trying to spray paint Mrs. Jackson’s fur coats when she wears them to court.
