Carter: Obama ‘Embraced’ & Thanked My Grandson For Helping Break the Romney ’47 Percent’ Story

Noted peanut farmer Jimmy Carter in a CNN interview Thursday night claimed President Barack Obama actually “ran across the room” and thanked James Carter, the former president’s grandson, for his role in bringing failed presidential candidate Mitt Romney’s “47 percent” comments to light.

“When James went to meet President Obama, President Obama ran across the room, embraced him and thanked him profusely for his time,” Carter told CNN’s Piers Morgan.

You’re all familiar with the story: James Carter gave the secretly shot footage to Mother Jones’ David Corn who, in turn, made Romney’s remarks a major talking point in the 2012 presidential election.

“There are 47 percent of the people who will vote for the president no matter what. All right, there are 47 percent who are with him, who are dependent upon government, who believe that they are victims, who believe the government has a responsibility to care for them, who believe that they are entitled to health care, to food, to housing, to you-name-it,” the former Massachusetts governor says in the video.

“That, that’s an entitlement. And the government should give it to them. And they will vote for this president no matter what…These are people who pay no income tax,” he continued, adding “so our message of low taxes doesn’t connect.”

Corn was rewarded for his efforts with a George Polk Award, one of journalism’s highest honors.

Jimenez Carter was and still is a detriment to this country.
1. He GAVE away the Panama Canal, we never voted on that. Did he pay for it? No. Did my ancestors pay for it, yes. My ancestors are tax paying US citizens.
2. He invited the commie Robert Mugabe to the White House in 1980 and fully supported this dictator’s rise to power in Zimbabwe.
3. Jimmy Carter went to North Korea and brokered a deal with Kim Jung Il that was supposed to keep that rogue state from attaining nuclear weapons. Jimmy’s “negotiation” called for the United States to provide the North Koreans with $4 billion worth of light water reactors and $100 million in oil in exchange for a promise not to develop weapons plus assurances that inspectors would be allowed in. On Aug. 28, 2003 North Korea announced that it possessed nuclear weapons.
4. Have you ever heard of the D.O.E. (Dept. Of Energy)? Ya that’s right, the Department of Energy was formed on August 4, 1977 by President Jimmy Carter. It’s main goal was to reduce the United State’s dependence on foreign oil. Looks like it has done a real good job over the past 32 years now doesn’t it?
5. He revived securitized mortgages after Kennedy killed them to save our economy from the ruin they both knew derivative loans would cause. FDR started them with the same knowledge.
6. Gas lines and shortages at the pump.

  Jimenez Carter also failed to punish Iran for taking our people hostage. They sent them back because Reagan called them casualties of war, and that left no question as to his intent.

From the get go the lamestream media picked the former Massachusetts governor, Mitt Romney to run against Emperor Obama . . . thus, Emperor Obama wins 2nd Term with the help of Peanut farmer Jimmy Carter Grandson’s secretly video taping of Mitt Romney’s 47% comment ….
4 year before – The media picks the person who will be come president Obama … 4 years later, the media picks the person in the other party Romney to run against Obama … Media coverage of election was rigged for Obama to win… Obama stole the election.   No he wasn’t. It’s true that there are about 47% who are so solidly in the camp of each party or the other that the remaining 6% are all that rally matter, but it’s a lie that the 47% who are sure to vote Democrat are identical with the 47% who don’t pay taxes and are dependent on the government. There are plenty of those who vote Republican.

I don’t think Carter’s dear grandson had one thing to do with Obama winning and Carter and Obama know that. Romney told the truth about the 47%, but the 47% became the 94% at the polls and that is how he won. The liberals just threw out a few votes to make it look possible, but failed at that in a few states.

Carter figured four more years of Obama, the worst POTUS and we would forget all about him ever being in the White House. Most of us have because we now just call him the peanut farmer. When Obama finally gets out I can think of a lot of things to call him rather than ex- President Obama too. Matter of fact I have some choice names for him now, but will keep them to myself; just because he disrespects over half of us Americans I won’t disrespect him while he holds the office of Commander-in-Chief….well maybe I won’t.

Funny how conservatives act like it was the 47 percent video that ruined their chances of a “landslide” victory (remember those predictions). With or without the video, your Mitt the Twit would have lost anyways because the american people as a whole aren’t a bunch of old, white, jesus f**king, gay bashing, inbred, gun-totting, freaks of nature. Face it, modern day conservatism is a dying ideology and within 10-15 years, when Texas, Georgia, Arizona, etc. are blue (thank you immigrants), you tea party idiots will be dumped on the side of the road like the segregationists of the 60′s.
