Obama: Only Thing Keeping GOP Together Is Its Love Of Helping Rich People

President Obama during a discussion Thursday with MSNBC host Al Sharpton said that the only thing holding an otherwise deeply divided Republican Party together is its love of helping the rich, according to POLITICO.

“My sense is that their basic view is that nothing is important enough to raise taxes on wealthy individuals or corporations, and they would rather see [billions in sequester cuts to social programs]… That’s the thing that binds their party together at this point,” the president said, referring to the spending cuts scheduled to take effect March 1.

The president continued, claiming “75 percent” of Americans supports his so-called “balanced approach.” He later attacked Republicans for saying there need to be more spending cuts, stating that their arguments are bogus.

“[H]e went on to joke with Sharpton, a former Democratic problem child who is now one of Obama’s staunchest supporters,” POLITICO’s Glenn Thrush notes, “recalling their relative positions on the roster of speakers during Rosa Parks’ memorial service in 2005.”

“I was second from last on the speaking list and you were in the top five… that showed our relative positions,” the president laughed.

  It is interesting that Obama identifies with his missing, dysfunctional father and his father’s race, much more so than with the side of his family which actually nurtured, and educated him – his semi- missing mother . He guy had a troubled up-bringing and it shows .

Can you imagine the HEADS EXPLODING on the left if George Bush would have said something along the lines of ” the only thing keeping the democrats together is there love of helping kill the unborn”? these remarks are idiotic. and so far below the office this dirtbag is holding right now. we are seeing the dog who finally caught the fire truck and now has NO CLUE what to do with it. Keep in mind that this is the man who got his millionaire tax, complete with a bald face lie to not raise taxes on anyone but the top 2 percent. if you make a paycheck your taxes went up. This is a man that just cannot seem to break out of his career politician/ community organizing / demagoging/ perpetually campaigning self. and if you havent noticed median income is down, gas is double the price, the economy is spinning its wheels with anemic growth and a hopeless workforce. This is the greatest nation being turned into a mediocre west european socialist joke. And the jokes on you and I.

Great American presidents inspire and encourage the country. They remind us of our duty, honor and give us hope for a brighter future. This poor imitation of a leader divides, demonizes and discourages us. I can’t even verbalize my disgust with this man, it’s beyond description.

I hardly think asking government to live within its means is worthy of this type of treatment. I am sorry, but a President who talks like this is NOT MY PRESIDENT.

Look, there should be NO SUBSIDY OR TAX BREAKS for:

Oil and Big Oil
So-called Global Corporations like GE who lobby congress but don’t pay taxes.
Farmers who are sometimes paid to not grow corn
etc……

Unfortunately, when you extend unemployment benefits to 36 months, people “can’t” find work for the duration of those benefits. Look, wheat rotted in the fields when farmer’s income was not tied to a good harvest. No way does that happen in the US. Welfare mothers breed with wild abandon, knowing that as single moms, they get every state and federal benefit imaginable, to the point where they end up better off than workers.

Unfortunately, I like what I do…..but I’m beginning to think that I need to break this 35 year old streak. I’ve never been on welfare or unemployment…….Maybe it’s time for me to collect what is mine………
