Rush Limbaugh: ‘For the First Time in My Life I Am Ashamed of My Country’

“Ladies and gentlemen, for the first time in my life I am ashamed of my country,” Rush Limbaugh said Thursday. “To be watching all of this, to have my intelligence – all of us – to have our common sense and intelligence insulted the way it’s being, is — it just makes me ashamed.”

The conservative radio host’s ire was the result of the sequester, the looming federal spending cuts set to automatically go into effect at the end of this month unless Congress and the White House can reach a deal. He called it “deja vu all over again” and ripped President Barack Obama for keeping himself above the fray and painting himself as a Washington outsider “even though it was his idea.”

“Here we get worked up over $44 billion – that’s the total amount of money that will not be spent that was scheduled to be spent this year,” Limbaugh said. “And in truth we’re going to spend more this year than we spent last year. We’re just not going to spend as much as projected. It’s all baseline budgeting. There is no real cut below a baseline of zero. There just isn’t. And yet here they come, sucking us in, roping us in. Panic here. Fear there. Crisis. Destruction. No meat inspection. No cops. No teachers. No firefighters. No air traffic control.

“I’m sorry, my days of getting roped into all of this are over. We have the media play along with all of this, the ruling class – both parties – play along with all of this,” he continued. “It’s insulting. I don’t know how else to describe it.”

I love my country but I can’t stand the way it is being run…which is right into the ground by a government that has been tipping more and more towards the progressive agenda from as far back as I can recall. It’s the people in charge that I am ashamed of.

They ignore We The People more now than ever before…except when they want to raise more revenue of course. Got to make the sacrifices though I guess. After all, it is for the common good- like…Hawaiian vacations, golf outings, bangs on mamma moose, stuff like that.

Some people won’t believe any will change the status quo until it changes so dramatically that it affects them. I live with one. Everyone is just “not that bad” and surely we can afford to take care of everything for everyone. Those folks losing benefits due to Obamacare are the first wave of followers of The Great & Powerful O to feel the pinch. Any Reps, Ind and Libertarians are just collateral damage – and due the same sympathy as all other collateral damage in any conflict.

We need to Cloward & Piven the progressive agenda.Use the same rule book they are using ,on them.Overload the progressive programs join the groups then take them over.Pick apart the perfect progressive storm .Or just wait till it all collapses because it will on it’s own it already is.The thing is they have the media and I am sure the soviets and chinese are all for helping the deconstruction of America too.

Rush is very good at what he does, but most liberals or low-information persons do not understand what he does. He takes something that the left does or says, and says or does the equivalent, and the left freaks out about it. He is an expert at revealing liberal hypocrisy.

Rush is referring to Michelle Obama saying “For the first time in my life, I am proud of my country”. The left explains away Michelle’s comment, but they are going to rip Rush’s apart.

I’m sorry, but the Americans are in far worse trouble than just people voting Obama in…I don’t think they did..seriously, I know most Americans are smarter than that. I think you got this government through fraudulent means. There are people that have proudly stated they voted much more than once..insuring he got in. If this government has that figured out, it could keep Democrats in FOREVER..or some kind of tyrant.

  On voting day, up here in the sticks, I witnessed a voter turnout like I had never seen in my life before. And surprisingly, most all were saying “we gotta stop this”. So……..WTF?????
  
  Then, when watching the returns comming in that night, many states were declaring for the o when the poles weren’t even closed and less than 2% of the votes “counted.”…..WTF???? I went to bed.
  
  Later, I hear that several districts had way over 100% registered voter turnout (how can you get over 100%???) with not A SINGLE REBUBLICAN VOTE and no one calls foul. I find this unbelievable. Not one?
  
  Now we are starting to hear stories of people who are proudly admitting voting more than once. As I suspected.

  When you own the voting machines and the Spanish company that counts the votes you pretty much control the outcome of the election. Add a huge helping of voter fraud and you get the Commie in Chief back in even with his horrible record.

I truly stopped caring the morning after election day. It’s all going to Hell and there is absolutely nothing that can be done to reverse the course America has taken. I figure that I’ll be dead before the really scary stuff starts happening… so the hell with it all. Might as well try to enjoy what little freedom we have left before Death comes a knocking.

  There is very little to none, in the difference between both political parties. If there was Obama would have long ago been impeached, for a start. So many of these people who were voted in need to be kicked out. None of them are doing their job which is to represent the people.

I will never be ashamed of my country never ever, but I am ashamed of man, and the ones running it. They are making mess after mess after mess. You can’t give the house away than ask for rent. People need to work, Borders need shut down, Police need paid more, and the Govt. needs to give Border Control Over to all of the local Police Everywhere, let them take turns serving in the problem areas. We need to pay the police 2 x what they make now. The problems would clean themselves up. No one talks about the drugs, and that is 97% of the problem with this great country of ours. The drugs and drug cartels infiltrated and have created a society of DEAD BEATS all being paid to sit at home by Obama Clause in the White House.
