Trust Us, You’ll Want to See the Body That’s Attached to This ’60 Years Old’ Face — Trust Us

Take a look at this picture — posted on the popular sharing site Reddit under the simple headline “60 years old” — and try to imagine what the body attached to it might look like:

Reddit photo of 60 years old bodybuilde goes viral

Thinking?

Thinking?

Thinking?

Got the mental picture? Okay, now, did it look anything like this?

Reddit photo of 60 years old bodybuilde goes viral

(Reddit user CrazyDrummer)

Let’s just get the obvious out of the way: we cannot verify that the image is, in fact, real. Could it be Photoshopped? Definitely. But that hasn’t stopped people from liking it: It already has over 1,700 comments on Reddit.

HuffPo captured some of them:

“That’s not fair. He has dad and grandpa strength,” said ISwearThisIsOriginal.

“Santa only works 1 day out of the year. The other 364? He lifts,” commented BOMPendragon 228.

If the photo is real, it’s quite an impressive one. And hats off to Mr. 60-year-old ripped man.

What do you think: real or fake?

The guy looks great. But There are a lot of 60 year olds who look that good or better. Look at Rachel Welch and she’s older. Bruce Willis looks younger than that guy. Sheesh some older babyboomers and some of their kids are so prejudiced and UNAWARE. No wonder the country is messed up. God Bless!

I’m 95% certain this is real. Having used Photoshop extensively for the past 20 years I can attest to the extreme difficulty in head swapping anyone with poofy frayed **** when the back grounds are different. If they are the same it is immensely easier. This gentleman has a poofy frayed beard over the area of most concern. If Photoshopped, there would be plenty of signs that there was some sort of masking job done for the beard. Also, this is a sharp, well detailed picture with very little compression artifacts. Whenever you see a low res, highly compressed image, that is controversial, assume it’s fake. Not to mention it’s not that implausible for a 60 year old to be ripped….

I just turned 62. I started a bb lifestyle late in life, when I was 34.
Gym 4-5 x a week, lift hard for 30-40 minutes, then go home and eat and sleep.
60-80 caps, tabs, and other means of dosing suplements everyday.
      Why?
Because in 1984, I weighed in one morning at 274. I was in a divorce and and wasn’t happy. By November, I wad down to 185. TRUTH! An apple and a can of tuna. Plus 15-20 beers and shots, every day.
Then got serious about it it in 1985. I am now 5’11″, and weigh 215. Carry from 12-14% body fat at any given time. Have been down to less than 10% a few years ago, but just don’t feel right.
My father died at 65 during his 2nd quadruple bypass. Never woke up.
My dad’s father died at 70 with arterial disease, but cancer got him 1st.
My mom’s dad dird at 93,. He was a full blood American Indian.
I want to avoid that, so continue this lifestyle. Now that I am retired, I still hit the gym 4-5 x a week.
In November of 2012, I dead lifted 750. two days later squatted 605 for 3 reps. Stopped benchpressing with barbells when rotator cuff ripped, but do inclines with 190lb dumbbells. I could do better 5 years ago, but still, not bad.
I am not as cut as the picture above, but could be if I go medieval for a month or two.
I did two cycles of steroids in 1996. Lost some ****, but thankfully, got my indian genetics and haven’t lost any more, since. Father and his father were Friar Tuck bald Hate that, but they did get me over a hump, and I don’t regret it.

I dunno, Jerry, from a woman’s (and former endurance athlete’s) point of view it’s refreshing to see a nicely maintained male body these days. For a 60-year-old guy, it’s obvious he’s lifting more than his fingers on a plastic computer keyboard.

Simple intense weight training will get you these results, but his body was not created like this over even a one year period. He has been devoted to weight training for more then ten years is my guess maybe more. He could let it all go for a few years and come back in his 70s and build it back up again. Look past the beard and you’ll see health in his face as well. Its real! Look up Frank Zane!

The photo is real. The problem is that most Americans are not used to seeing people who are in good shape anymore so they don’t remember what it looks like. Before anyone attacks me, I must tell you I am a good patriotic American but think we are a disgrace when it comes to health. Pull up any family photo from the 1950′s and a picture of the average family today and you will know what I mean.
