Report: Obama Admin to Release E-mails on CIA’s Libya Talking Points to Senate Intelligence Committee
Amid continued controversy over the Sept. 11 terror attack in Benghazi, Libya, the Obama administration has reportedly agreed to provide e-mails surrounding the contentious CIA talking points that led to the distribution of seemingly-inaccurate information. It’s likely that there will be an investigation using this new content to explore whether the White House hid key details about the deadly assault.
A congressional source has told Fox News that the e-mails will be provided early next week to the SenateΒ IntelligenceΒ Committee following requests to review the messaging in question. What is not yet clear, however, is whether hard copies of the e-mails will be offered or whether members will read the messages on a computer or digital platform. Fox News has more:
The source noted that the committee has already seen details on how the controversial talking points were changed from their original drafting. Terms like Al Qaeda were stripped out, which led Republican lawmakers to charge the talking points were deliberately watered down — itβs unclear which versions of the talking points members of the Senate committee might see.
The intelligence communityβs talking points were provided to U.S. Ambassador to the U.N. Susan Rice and formed the basis of her controversial comments on all the major Sunday talk shows five days after the attack. During those shows, she asserted that the attack was a βspontaneousβ reaction to protests elsewhere in the region and was a demonstration that spun out of control.
The potential release of these e-mails comes as the White House is attempting to nominate counter-terrorism adviser John Brennan to direct the CIA.

Posted on February 23, 2013 at 9:00amAfter nearly six months , I would say that they have had plenty of time to “doctor up” these
talking points so that there is nothing “bad” pointing to any of the elights in the Obama camp. As I
have said before , had Obama been our President in 1941, after Pearl Harbor , he would still be investigating what happened , and war on Japan would still not be declared. And , had the Japanese been muslims , we probably never would have fought them.

Posted on February 22, 2013 at 4:40pmI think ‘watered down talking points’ was/is a lie. So they made up emails to go along with that lie. Simple
Lies to back up the lies

Posted on February 22, 2013 at 10:52amThis is asking the administration to incriminate themselves.
while you and I can no longer delete work emails thanks to government regulation, there is zero chance these will include anything that is beneficial… those emails did not occur (spoken word), were redacted entirely, or will have been so heavily censored as to be useless.
the only hope is that yet another discrepancy between what they say now happened then vs. what they said then happened then is discovered.
personally, there are already enough of those nothing this administration says is trustworthy.
i think even the press sees that now, but they’re too far down the road to change course.

He remains ” out of the loop ” of investigation ! ” See no evil, hear no evil , ” do nothing…. Of course, allowing a president to be unaccountable for the deaths of four Americans could only happen in the new Age Of Obama where there is no accountability for this president ….that is considered ” racist” and our congress is comprised of Democrat Obama robots and Republican wussies cowered by the Democrat Media Character Assassination Squad.

Posted on February 22, 2013 at 10:39amNothing that comes out of this White House can be trusted to be truthful. They have leaked ( front page of the NYT no less ) and lied for the past four years. Obama’s hidden school records are symbols for this administration who parrots the phrase ” we are the most transparent administration in American history ” while they leak , lie and cover-up. If the MSM wasn’t under their complete control, they would never be able to do this. Freedom of the press is dead in America. The radical Left suffocated it .

Posted on February 22, 2013 at 10:35amGiven the pending release of these e-mails the main questions have to be asked and considered:
How can we trust them to give authentic e-mails and all of the e-mails? How do we know these are not just fabrications or redacted to such a degree nothing is answered?
And most importantly:
How long until the treason and murder committed by the admin is decisively dealt with in the courts of law?
