Texas GOP Chair: If Hillary Runs in 2016, Texas Won’t Be a ‘Solid Republican’ State

Texas State Republican Chair: If Hillary Runs in 2016, Texas Wont Be a Solid Republican State The Texas Republican Party is taking very seriously the possibility of Hillary Clinton running for president in 2016 — and the idea that the red state juggernaut could actually become a battleground.

In an interview with Real Clear Politics, state GOP Chairman Steve Munisteri said they’re not dismissing the idea that Texas could go blue come next election.

“If she’s the nominee, I would say that this is a ‘lean Republican’ state but not a ‘solid Republican’ state,” Munisteri said. “I don’t know anyone nationally who’s scoffing at this. The national party leadership is aware and tells me they’re taking it seriously.”

Texas Democrats are even more optimistic. Tanene Allison, the state party communications director, said Texas could “absolutely” be a swing state, just four years after former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney beat President Barack Obama by nearly 16 whole points.

“I think that in 2016 it will absolutely be considered a swing state in the sense that presidential candidates will have to campaign here, which they haven’t been doing for a long time,” Allison told Real Clear Politics. “If Hillary Clinton does run, she does really well in Texas.”

Such confidence is bolstered by a survey last month by the Democratic-leaning Public Policy Polling that showed Clinton coming out on top in hypothetical 2016 match-ups against Florida Sen. Marco Rubio, New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie and Texas’ own governor, Rick Perry.

San Antonio Mayor Julian Castro, who delivered the keynote address at the Democratic National Convention in September, was similarly optimistic about his state’s future first as a “purple” and then as a blue state in an interview with CBS News’ “Face the Nation” last month.

“In a couple of presidential cycles, you’ll be on election night, you’ll be announcing we’re calling the 38 electoral votes of Texas for the Democratic nominee for president,” Castro said.

I want to hear a sane mind explain to me how ANY GOP candidate is going to beat Hillary???

The response might be that the GOP needs the “right” candidate, but we have proven since John Wayne McCain that most of us lack discipline and long-term vision.

But, that is the only rational argument one could make and considering the enormous number of bottom-feeding voters, even the “right” GOP candidate wouldn’t be able to seal the deal.

The problem is, Marxist Care isn’t going to have burdened and screwed enough people by 2016, so what could possibly change the mood of the majority of Americans? 10% unemployment didn’t do it.

Settle in, people. Might be time to employ a boxing strategy and let the other side “punch itself out” while we “Strategerize”.

  I remember too many dirty stories she was involved in, starting in Arkansas and going on to D.C. Don’t any of you remember the stories? Look ‘em up. I still can’t get Vince Foster out of my mind wondering how his papers got in her personal office after his office was ransacked. Just as this president having his “puss” in the media running up to the election in 08, Hillary too should have hers. Commercials should be aired nationwide beginning now, detailing the corrupt and criminal past of this woman. There is plenty out there, about her nefarious past, that can be used to saturate every aspect of electronic and print media. She should have no inclination to even run for school board, let alone the Presidency.

Its inevitable that TX will turn blue. Its cities and the welfare, multicultural types and other progressives are flocking there. TX will remain red in rural parts, but metro areas are all blue. Problem is, metro areas have the votes and voter fraud, and that is what will put the Reids, Frankens, and Pelosis into its Statehouse, Governors office, and into the US Congress. Conservative Texicans may say ‘never’ or ‘get out’, but like all the other states that have been over-run by liberal cities, they will live under the rules and policies of the left. If we follow the rules and the laws, this is the unavoidable end.

I despise the Clintons, but Hillary will win in a landslide if she runs. I expect her to be president from 2017-2025. The only thing that could impact that is her health (she would be 68 taking office, 76 leaving office). The no- and low-information voter will come out in droves for her.

The GOP is clueless. It doesn’t have a strategy or focus, and it is astronomically outgunned in the information/media/propaganda war. We’re done.

There’s no doubt in my mind God himself helped forge this nation. At this point, He is the only way it could be saved. I pray God helps us return to the values and morals that made this country so great. We are far off that path.

All these America haters are going to learn one day just how great we were. They’ll see how a lone superpower in China treats the world. I’m glad I won’t live long enough to see it.

Glenn Beck just reported about the UNESCO school in Denton, TX ( a target district for Agenda 21). UNESCO is the United Nations. More and more cities and towns are being taken over (elected officials) by people with Spanish/Mexican or middle Eastern names. The liberal universities staffed with 60′s professors and responsible for taking our history, the Constitution and God out of the public schools across the state and Christians and other conservatives have “not been engaged or involved” with their own communities governance or the education of their own children. Is it any wonder that the “dumbing down” of the population in Texas would result in the political climate moving to the left of middle?   there over protected by the law to much, we have sharia law except that the men get the persecution by the law from it.
