Yup, but he also announced that his Solution to Tyranny is Jesus/Gandhi PACIFISM.
In THAT context “puzzy” works for me.

      Maj.
I’m a big believer in “TELLING it like it IS!”
In this I follow Stanley Hauerwas, Duke’s Premier Ethicist, who says “NAME the SIN!”
Well actually, word on the GradStudent street is Stanley says “NAME the EFFN! SIN!” except he doesn’t say “effn’ if you take my meaning.
In this I also follow the 20th Century’s Greatest Philosopher when he states: “Stupid IS as Stupid DOES”, or “Poohsee is as Poohsee does.”
C.S. Lewis, says that, at bottom, ANY restriction on STYLE, which includes word choice, is a restriction (and thus a kind of censorship) on the KINDS of THINGS we may SAY and thus, by extension THINK. Now he also has some things to say about using language MERELY or PRIMARILY to SHOCK and therefore UNCHARITABLY, but there are tensions here.
More importantly what I demand be avoided is a Surrender of Definitions and Terms, and Thus, The ARGUMENT, on “civility” grounds. I reject the Mort ConDrakHe School of “Old Maid Aunt with Vapors” Journalism.
“TELL it LIKE it IS!” Then we can go from there. NO “prior restraint”.

I think Ann Coulter sees today’s political struggles as ALL OUT WAR and sees Libertarians as being Useless Eaters as far as Warriors go, something akin to the country of Switzerland during WWII: trying to stay out of the fray and off of war terms with either side…

@scruffy, i agree that’s how she sees them.
but since they vote, they are NOT neutral like Switzerland… in fact, their NOT voting contributes to losses for the GOP, whom the Libertarians overwhelmingly agree with where fiscal policy is concerned.
It’s the pesky (not for government anyway) social issues that the GOP nails down as planks that hurt them… it hurts them when they speak about it, too, saying stupid things about rape, pretending evolution is impossible instead of focusing on the fudge factor required for the most ardent evolution only supporter…

GOP candidates let left leaning media push them into making quotes that kill them instead of staying with the small government, Constitutional mantra.

      SCRUFFY and DOC,
Doc, Scruff does nail one of the Libertarians’ “achilles heel” (s).
Even stipulating that we are all somehow controlled by a Gigantic Jewish Conspiracy, the BARBARIANS are AT the GATES NOW! The RagaMuzzied SandNAZIS are out to KILL us.
Paulists simply seem FOOLS when they assure us that if we just left the Jihadis alone they would leave us alone. It’s manifest NONSENSE—NOW!—–WHATEVER the “roots” are. Saying otherwise is EXACTLY like saying “evolution is impossible” and “there are natural defenses against rape pregnancy”. Regardless of underlying Truths it is STUPID in the immediacy!
The Sanduskies NEED KILLING NOW! That is Job ONE for my CIC. I’d be happy to see a Constitutional Declaration of War too–GET me one, THEN go WIPE OUT EVERY LAST DARK AGE BARBARIAN KLANbanger on the PLANET!
Don’t CARE if “we can’t AFFORD it”, LOSING is MORE EXPENSIVE!
So Prattle on all you want, Paulists, about “unnecessary” and “unconstitutional” “interventionism” and “nation building” AND THEN GO BACK TO KILLING RAH GIES IN JOB LOTS!

but you’ve got an “achillies” of your own XRay.

XRay–you’re an educated man in a technical field. Surely you should be able to bracket out your emotions and spot the cognitive dissonance in this: “in fact, [Libertarians] NOT voting contributes to losses for the GOP, whom the Libertarians overwhelmingly agree with where fiscal policy is concerned. It’s the pesky (not for government anyway) social issues that the GOP nails down as planks that hurt them… it hurts them when they speak about it, too, saying stupid things about rape, pretending evolution is impossible instead of focusing on the fudge factor required for the most ardent evolution only supporter… making quotes that kill them instead of staying with the small government, Constitutional mantra.”
So you are saying that Libertarians would rather ENDURE Nanny Statism then vote for a Candidate with Religious Convictions and a lack of verbal discipline? How SMART does THAT make THEM?
If “small Government Constitutional[ism] is “the mantra” then WHY can’t/won’t/ DON’T THE LIBERTARIANS frame THEIR differences with the “Religious Conservatives” in THAT way! Why do the LIBERTARIANS focus on being bent out of shape to the point of “not voting” over issues THAT BY THEIR OWN STANDARDS are “nonsense”?

Then there is THIS gem: “Alienating Hispanics and the LGBT community cost us the last election.” Did you READ Coulter Wednesday “His-paniced GOP” ? How about Jan 30 “Rubio’s Amnesty Path to Oblivion for GOP.”
Are you BLIND to the FACT that Same Sex Marriage is about NOTHING but using STATISM to SILENCE anyone who DARES say “God hates perversion!”?
How are YOU “helping the cause” by alienating “Religious Value” voters by ACCUSING them of “name calling”?
Even if you are only referring to Coulter, and I do not believe you are, given the context of your own words, how are YOU helping? How is this NOT just more demands that RELIGIOUS Conservatives DUMP THEIR Values in order to Placate Prhomos and La Raza Reconquistas?
      I say SCREW that.
      And I’m calling YOU OUT.
I say YOU are a Prhomo, XDoc. What say YOU?

We all agree on this. It’s the stupidity in dealing with this that bothers us. We can take care of all of these ills in a much cheaper and more safe manner. Here it is. It’s easy.

Stay out of everybody’s business. Everybody. Then, if anyone focks with us, we tear’em a new *******. Nuke, invade, B-52′s with conventional bombs… I don’t care… but we don’t stay, unless we want what’s theirs. If we stay, they have a choice. Assimilate, slaves, or die.

Calling potential allies names does not help our cause.
Live your life in a conservative manner.
Libertarians who are truly libertarians will not want your tax dollar to fund their less conservative lifestyle.

The Right I agree has the right way to live, but will not win trying to force it upon others… especially when we do not hold the reins in the courts or educational system.

Alienating Hispanics and the LGBT community cost us the last election; with 47% on the dole, even with the say 5% who recognize that’s not where they want to be, too many opposed to what is happening chose to stay home because they buy into the lies of the Left about the Right, which the Right makes easy to believe.

Why would small government say anything about marriage, drugs, or what specifically is taught in an admittedly failed educational system?

Embrace those with similar fiscal opinions. Fix the House that is Government. Fix the fabric of our society by the way we live.

SHOCK REPORT — Veterans Receive Letters From VA Prohibiting Ownership or Purchase of Firearms
Posted by Jim Hoft on Friday, February 22, 2013, 6:11 AM

This must be Barack Obama’s way of thanking our veterans for serving.
US veterans are receiving letters from the government informing them that they are disabled and not allowed to own, purchase or possess a firearm. If the veteran does decide to purchase a firearm he will by fined, imprisoned or both.

I just TRIED sending this article to my friends on Facebook and was DENIED! I am starting to understand why FB just received a 500K tax credit and pays NO TAXES!

If you read the letter from the VA, it says:
      1. You have to be receiving some sort of VA pension, disability, aid and attendance, etc
      2. The VA determines you to be incapable of handling your own financial affairs and assigns a person to handle this for you (usually a family member. ) Reasons for this is veteran may have dementia or Alzheimers.
      3. I did not realize that under the Brady Bill, they could deny gun ownership to these veterans.
