Fox News Lands First Post-Election Interview With Mitt Romney

Getty Images
Former Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney will sit for his first post-election interview next week on “Fox News Sunday,” Fox News host Chris Wallace announced.
Romney will appear March 3 with wife Ann to discuss his campaign, how they dealt with defeat and what the former Massachusetts governor thinks of President Barack Obama’s agenda for his second term.
Romney is slowly re-emerging into public life following his loss to Obama in November. It was announced last week he would speak at next month’s annual Conservative Political Action Conference being held near Washington, D.C.
Romney said he was looking forward “to saying thank you to the many friends and supporters who were instrumental in helping my campaign.”

Posted on February 24, 2013 at 1:01pmGov. Romney’s agenda might not have been any better in the long, long run, but I find him – and I believe I am in no way alone in this – EMINENTLY more likeable than that silly fop of a delinquent lavishing the best of everything on himself and his beard, NOT WORKING, and playing dress-up in the Evil Office.
Watching the Romney clan during the campaign was such a breath of clean air and real hope, as opposed to the depravity we are being treated to on a daily basis now.
Gov. Romney was literally the first candidate to run for President – of EITHER party – who didn’t turn my stomach or make me roll my eyes. He’s the first candidate for whom I actually had respect.
He’s a sharp cookie, and I was looking forward to watching him and Mrs. Romney work, instead of the mind-numbing, murdering nightmare that is THAT MAN.

Even Alex Jones would disagree. He was surprised that 1 million Libertarians voted for Obama. Their reasons? To hasten the Death of America.
Iran is building Nukes. No sane Libertarian would argue otherwise. What they are arguing, is what Iran will do with those Nukes.
After dealing with whom I thought were Sons of Liberty, I realized they were of the philosophy of Marx in their behavior.
There was a difference between the American Revolution & the French Revolution.
There is a difference between Locke & Marx.
Most Libertarians don’t know the difference.
ps; Romney had the OK from the MA gun lobby to do what he did. He lowered taxes more than he raised them & on KEY TAXES.
He knew how to strategically progress a state to the right. But that is why he failed. How it all appeared.
The Eagle has Fallen. It will not rise again. Prepare for the End…sooner.

Posted on February 24, 2013 at 12:59pmMitt was more progressive than people liked but they threw their towels in and voted for him anyway. News to everyone, the lesser of two evils is still evil. It is very sad that the people of this country now look to the degree of bad/evil/progressive when making a decision on their leaders.
So this is supposed to be news – Fox being the first to interview Romney. Why is that news? Fox and the RNC elites favored him over all the other republican candidates. Fox news political hacks kept telling us the polling was flawed and Romney was really ahead. They continually tried to spin him into something he was not and it did not work.
I can not stand the Tyrant in Chief and I think he is a traitor but where would things be different today? Romney played the income redistribution game, he had no plans on addressing the budget today (ten years down the road, is just passing the buck), agreed with drones, agreed with foreign wars and intervention, agreed with arming the Syrian and Libyan rebels, agreed on TARP, agreed with stimulus spending, agreed on CISPA, agreed on NDAA, agrees with the fed and their manipulation of the market, believes in regressive laws on gun control, he is a wall street player and believes in man made climate change.
Sorry but a progressive Republican is no different than a progressive Democrat. Unfortunately our government is over-run with both.

Posted on February 24, 2013 at 12:45pmRomney LOST the election …and here’s just ONE issue WHY..!
. “I don’t line up with the NRA.” — 1994, to reporters at a campaign stop. During his 1994 Senate campaign, Romney came out in support of the Brady Bill and a ban on certain types of assault weapons.
We do have tough gun laws in Massachusetts — I support them. I won’t chip away at them. I believe they help protect us, and provide for our safety.” — Sept. 24, 2002, at a debate during the Massachusetts gubernatorial race.
Signed a permanent assault-weapons ban as governor of the Bay State. “Deadly assault weapons have no place in Massachusetts,” Romney said at the July 1, 2004, signing ceremony. “These guns are not made for recreation or self-defense. They are instruments of destruction with the sole purpose of hunting down and killing people.”
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
!!! Here comes the flip-flop !!!
Signed up for a lifetime NRA membership in August 2006.
. “I support the Second Amendment as one of the most basic and fundamental rights of every American.” — Sept. 24, 2007, in a video address at an NRA conference.
When it comes to protecting the Second Amendment, I do not support any new gun laws including any new ban on semi-automatic firearms.” — Dec. 30, 2007, in a statement.
But I still voted for him over what we have now.
I never made a big deal about his past during the election ,’when that’s all we had to oust the Marxist’. Maybe he did have a change of heart. But I find it hard to believe a person ‘changes his views on almost every issue . He’s a politician and he would have toed the party line .But his ‘past to present issue changes’ is the reason Republicans lost this last election.
Conservatives will focus on any defect in their candidate, and democrats will ignore every defect in their candidate, so guess who wins in a political election? If we survive the Obama administration as a free country, and we actually have another presidential election, “Christian” voters should consider voting for the BEST candidate, instead of not voting at all and waiting for Jesus Christ to run for public office.
The most unbelievable thing is many of them had a 40 day of prayer and fasting before the election and then stayed home. Figure that one out. Bottom line is we all get to pay the price – fear that we are faced with some really tragic days here in America. God help us all.
The United States Constitution is the enumerated list of powers given by the states and We the People. Please cite the passages that allow the federal government into healthcare and education.
Remember the past rulings of the Supreme Court; black Americans are property and segregation is OK. The last ruling that national healthcare is OK falls into that camp.
In our representative government We the People are the last word. That is way individual education is so important.
Our current education system is producing growing slums in our urban communities, rural communities that are going extinct, a falling educational standing worldwide, while our national debt is increasing.
What could possibly go wrong?
Uninformed…no. Uneducated…not by a long shot. Because I am not a mean person, I rarely call people names and try not to be judgmental. But, let’s get real…most of the people here can’t even spell. Don’t tell me who I support or what actions I support. I can tell you this — I worked at several Wall St. area investment banks. I know what business Romney was in…was there and saw it with my own eyes. I wasn’t in Benghazi and my heart goes out to those who lost their lives. I also realize that many lives were lost in Bush’s wars. Not every issue is defined by what happened in Benghazi. Fox News is listed under the entertainment wing of its parent company FOR A REASON. Rush Limbaugh is a charlatan who panders to his audience by telling him that the actual educated people are “low information” people. I guess it’s a strategy used to make undereducated people feel important. It works for him and he laughs all the way to the bank. Branch out, read books, view other news outlets, talk to people who know a thing or two and THEN get back to me.
Posted on February 24, 2013 at 5:28pmWOW needs to stop shopping for books in the propaganda section of the bookstore. Romney, for what it’s worth to you, gives anonymously.
Case in point: He’s campaigning in Massachusetts. He goes to a facility that treats vets. In the course of his tour, he asks to see their financial books. Says they run a tight ship. At the end of the tour, cameras pointed at him, Mitt asks what their biggest need is. Reply? Milk. They always had trouble supplying enough milk for the meals. Mitt makes a comment that they should teach the vets how to milk cows. Very awkward joke that rubs the facility manager the wrong way. Romney catches wind that this has offended and makes a private call the next morning to apologize.
For the next two years, Romney anonymously pays for the 7,000 pints per week of milk that the facility uses. On several occasions the facility manager begs the milk supplier to tell him who is paying for the milk. The milkman wouldn’t give up his secret. Until he is about to retire. He is asked one last time to say who pays for the milk. Finally, the milkman relents.
I would bet all I own that Obama would NEVER have the character to behave this way.
Say what you will about “evil” Romney. He puts his money where his mouth is when it counts. And I don’t mean during campaigns.
Posted on February 24, 2013 at 12:48pmC-War … I think you misunderstood the point Glenn was trying to make. He suggested that gun owners stay cool to avoid another 1990′s Ruby Ridge or Branch Davidian Seige. He’s promoting a peaceful win, rather than going to war with the gov’t. If the ATF arrives at your home, tell them you won’t give up your 2nd Amendment rights, therefore they will have to arrest you. Allow them to peacefully arrest you (while the media cameras are rolling), then ask someone to contact your local sheriff.
He compares this to Martin Luther King’s peace marches. The salivating media will eventually realize gun owners are everyday hardworking citizens who are peacefully standing up for their constitutional rights, and not members of some deranged crazy mob. Viewers will eventually become sympathetic to the cause, see the Feds as bullies, and the 2nd Amendment will once again be respected.
No one wants to be arrested, but this seems like good common sense to me.
Posted on February 24, 2013 at 12:00pmShalom,
So, who is this good man that you are talking about? The article is about Mr. Romney, the main reason manyconservatives did not vote in the election (they had no one to vote for).
Mr. Obama, the first man to sit in the oval office as president without establishing that he meets the requirements to do so, is a disaster, and might destroy this country.
If conservatives had abandoned all principle and integrity to elect Romney, simply because he was “not Obama”, then our country would have been truly lost, because those to whom we must turn for the restoration of this nation would have thrown away everything worthwhile in order to defeat Obama, instead of using everything that is worthwhile to save the nation.
What profits a man if he gain the entire world, and lose his soul? I am thankful that this country did not lose its soul for the sake of an election. If this fight is to be won, we must still have something worth fighting for.
Posted on February 24, 2013 at 12:25pmHey Rabbi, because you don’t like someone politics you think they are not a good man? You think a vote for Romney was a loss of one’s soul. All it takes for evil to prevail is that good men do nothing! Well, that’s what a lot of your conservatives did at the last election: nothing! And you think the country has lost it’s soul?
Posted on February 24, 2013 at 1:35pmTo the Rabbi, Mitt Romney was the best, most qualified man to ever run for the office of the president and I blame YOU and others like you for the horror of which we are all about to partake! Low information Obama loving voters don’t know any better, you should!! It’s YOUR fault!
Conservatives had someone to vote for, and they did, and he lost.
Extremist right-wing reactionaries had no one to vote for. They will never have a viable candidate to vote for in a National election. The population is too reasonable. The tea-party, evangelical leaders, FOX news and other propaganda outlets like Breitbart.com and WND has given paranoid reactionaries the courage and confidence to break from actual conservatism and therefore wound the Republican party. Romney was a reasonable conservative and probably electable before he had to move so far to the right to appease tea-baggers that he gave up a large slice of the moderate majority of the electorate. Huntsman and Christie are the only two Republicans who could currently win a general election, and neither could beat Hillary. But you “conservatives” will decide that they aren’t hateful enough, or plainspoken enough, or religious enough, or maybe too well educated. It’s a shame really. It’s why I left the party after almost 3 decades.
Posted on February 24, 2013 at 11:28amMitt is a good man even if he leaned toward Progressive more than I liked. There is no doubt I would much rather be putting up with him as President than Obama. We have our work cut out for us…
Posted on February 24, 2013 at 11:23amThe problem with Romney was he was too greedy…..He wanted to be President,when to become President,you have to lie cheat and steal….He wanted to become both President and keep his soul…..an impossible task…..They call him a murderer and a felon….he calls Obama a great guy…He decided to keep his soul….great for him….bad for the country.
My favorite part of the debates was “proceed governor.” And watching mitt dig that hole deeper. I still cant believe republicans this was the best choice. Well i can seeing who it was he was up against. Quite sad that he was the “best” choice.
Posted on February 24, 2013 at 11:18amSince Obama wants to continue his campaign, I hope Romney will continue to speak up and point out the error of his ways, and also explain the consequences of the last election.
