John McCain: Hagel Will Be Confirmed
Senator John McCain (R-AZ) told CNN’s Candy Crowley on “State of the Union” today that despite his personal opposition to the confirmation of former Nebraska Senator Chuck Hagel to the post of Secretary of Defense, he expects Hagel to be confirmed.
“I do not believe that Chuck Hagel, who is a friend of mine, is qualified to be Secretary of Defense, but I do believe that elections have consequences – unfortunately – and the President of the United States was reelected,” McCain said. “The President of the United States deserves an up-or-down vote.”
However, McCain, who has been one of the administration’s fiercest critics over their response to the attack on the United States Embassy in Benghazi last year, and one of the most forceful ambassadors on behalf of keeping the issue alive in the media, signaled that he would make a point of these questions, even to the point of blocking the confirmation of John Brennan for the post of CIA Director.
“Look, I don’t want to put a hold on anybody. But the American people deserve answers about Benghazi. There are so many questions that are still out there, including what was the president doing the night Benghazi happened?” McCain said. “He needs to answer these questions. And they say, why now? It’s the only time we have maximum leverage — that’s just a fact of life around Washington.”

In CONTROL, Glenn Beck presents a passionate, fact-based case for guns that reveals why gun control isn’t really about controlling guns at all; it’s about controlling us. Posted on February 24, 2013 at 11:28pmAny republican voting for this guy in the senate needs to be voted out next election. Primary challenge. If he passes 55/45 that would be JUST fine with me. The time has come to FIGHT or die.
I think Rubio’s response woke up people on the fence, Paul made sure the base was ready. Now is the time to fight back. As for Other issues. I am a friend of Sean Smith. And if you are not a gamer you have no clue the damage done by his murder. No clue at all. I hope we finally get the answers that we the American people deserve in this travesty. An AMBASSADOR was killed. On top of everything else.

Posted on February 24, 2013 at 11:02pmThe difference between Congress and the WWE at this point are that the WWE’s story lines are more believable. Compared to Congress, professional wrestling doesn’t seem as scripted with pre-determined outcomes. John McCain did his ornery grandpa routine long enough to save face in front of the GOP establishment, and now it’s time for him to do what he was going to do in the first place and go right along with the systematic destruction of our nation.

Posted on February 24, 2013 at 10:01pmFor all of you out their wondering what Obama & people like Chuck Hagel has in mind for you? Here are some thoughts.
During a speech some years ago to the unions before he was a politician he said that in order to achieve his vision for the country he would need a police type force that was funded at the same level as the military here inside the country. Fast forward to now. He is arming & funding the homeland security almost to the military level. Now it isn’t rocket science to see that we have a self appointed dictator willing to do what ever he thinks he can decree as legal & congress is letting him get away with it. It’s not to far fetched to think he would use drones inside the US either. This kind of criminal action can only lead to civil unrest. This is the kind of thing that destroys civilizations. This song is “The Devils Song” http://www.reverbnation.com/play_now/song_10789987
These people in this administration are listening to the devils song

It’s always been interesting to me that rhinos are nearsighted, they have trouble identifying trouble on the horizon; despite looking real tough, rhinos actually have soft and sensitive skin; rhinos can leave huge piles of dung, up to about half their height; rhinos can run like the wind when startled; relative to body size, rhinos have very small brains; rhinos live in small, territorial groups; and to top it off, a group of rhinos is called a crash.
Rhinos and RINOs have a lot in common.

Anyhoo, Bush a better man picked folks that would disagree with him. Bush wanted to hear all sides of the issue before making a presidential decision.
All Obama is getting are YES MEN/WOMEN. Like minded.

Posted on February 24, 2013 at 8:42pmDear Mr. McCain, your job is to stand for principals, not keep the machine rolling? You don’t say someone is not qualified to do a mission critical position then walk away from that statement saying elections have consequences?
Would you let Gomer Pyle launch the Space Shuttle, or whatever it is you people are doing, if President Obama put him in charge? People could die? Where is this guy’s war college thesis on countering land, air and sea battles in the next 10 years? Oh, he hasn’t been to war college? But you Americans out there, you pick any one of the 500 occupations regulated by laws to DEMAND you get a LICENSE! Do I sound like Mark Levin?
Not one single ounce of pressure, not one single American in the country, can get in front the microphone, saying, I’m qualified for the job, I’m volunteering, hire me Mr. President, and if not, explain to these good people why?
Those are the kinds of words a US Senator should be saying, not that bunch of chaos (trying to be respectful and polite at the same time) Sen. McCain? You couldn’t find ANYONE to stick in front of the camera Sen. McCain? When a member of Congress inquires the military about something, do they have hours, days, or weeks, to respond?
Nobody in the press? This is why blogs like theBlaze are being so successful, the old way of doing things in Washington is NOT going to work anymore?
President Obama, its too late to give you advice, you wouldn’t take it anyway?

Posted on February 24, 2013 at 8:25pmPoor John, he’s been blathering about this Benghazi nonsense for so long that he must have actually forgotten that trying to trump up some kind of bogus scandal out of those sad events was just a dirty trick to win an election that they already lost. It’s over John. The American people saw through the Republicans’ sleazy tactics and we’re not buying it as an excuse for stalling confirming the Presidents’ appointees to important posts.
