Beck Explains Why Networks Should Carry TheBlaze

On March 13, TheBlaze will launch a new program titled “For the Record,” intended to provide news and  information to its viewers modelled in the vein of the original “60 Minutes” program from decades past. On his Monday evening broadcast, Glenn Beck said that For the Record will be must-see television.

With increasing viewer demand, markets for TheBlaze will grow exponentially, Beck said, but such growth also takes a concerted effort. What first started as an online-only network has now expanded to DISH Network and will soon be available in other mediums as well, including cable television.

Beck asked viewers to continue requesting its normal television service providers to start carrying TheBlaze, which has out-performed even DISH’s projections by over 80 percent according to the network’s head.

The audience, according to Beck “is starving for programming that caters to its values.” To answer the question some service providers may ask about why it’s important to carry TheBlaze on their program line-up, the network launched a grassroots campaign to spread the word dubbed “GetTheBlaze.com

Intended to provide TheBlaze audience with new ways of reaching out to their TV service providers and demand they bring TheBlaze to their lineup, the new initiative has sparked excitement from even within the network.

“Since we launched TheBlaze on DISH last fall we have been hearing from the audience asking when TheBlaze will be available on other TV providers,” said Carolyn Polke, president and chief operating officer of TheBlaze. “We are launching Get TheBlaze to provide the audience with the tools to connect directly with TV providers and let their voice be heard.”

“TheBlaze audience is passionate about our programming and they want to watch it on their TV,” Polke said. Get TheBlaze “is about making that demand heard by the TV providers.”

I would definitely welcome Charter picking up the Blaze. I know Glenn still visits his old friend Bill from time to time, but I think FOX would be quivering to its core if the Blaze comes on Cable. lol

The only stipulation I have is that the Blaze will continue to share the truth and not crater to the elitist politically correct crowd which forced him to go solo from Fox imo (I know it may have been a mutual understanding, but my gut still says Glenn was also under a lot of pressure to do so). There’s room for one more news channel imo, so hope Charter’s listening. :)

The new sound bite about how talk radio, (and by extension The Blaze Tv), represent the ultimate “fly swatter.” For the life of me I can’t think of a single fly you have ever actually successfully swatted….hmmmm…no not one…

Now I would potentially start watching TV if there was a wider selection of points of view, but with the constant screens that come up on the Blaze now urging us to simply line your pockets with more money…that is is just going too far in my opinion. You might want to tone it down a bit.

    Dear Mrs. D******,

We don’t carry Blaze TV right now and we don’t currently have plans to add it to our lineup.

However, I have forwarded your request to DIRECTV management.

I have the Blaze through Dish now, DVR all the programs I want to watch, Cancelled the service thru the Roku as the streaming was never optimal. I have my internet service with Comcast and called them yesterday and asked if they were going to pick up The Blaze as my Dish contract is up in April and would do better with a bundle for my phone, internet and cable. I repeated myself about 3-4 times and couldn’t even understand what she was saying….Is this a yes or no? She rambled on in some language that I guess was suppose to resemble English…I asked to speak to someone in America, I was transferred to someone in the Phillipines…..it went downhill from there. Sadly Mr. Beck, even if Comcast carried The Blaze , their customer service is as they put it “offshore” an unaware of our programming here.

I just called Verizon Fios and asked if they could add TheBlaze to their TV lineup. The Customer Service agent that I spoke with said that she had never heard of TheBlaze before. After searching her computer for about two minutes she said that Verizon doesn’t have any plans to broadcast TheBlaze in the near future. I told her that unless Verizon Fios gets the Blaze that I will be considering switching my service to the Dish Network. She said she would pass on my comments to managment.

I have DirecTv and Roku. I did not like doubling of price. Would GBTV be free on DirecTv?

My boyfriend works for a small cable system. They would like to know how to carry The Blaze TV. He tried to contact someone yesterday but couldn’t.

TV programming should at least be a part of the conservative/libertarian marketplace of ideas and information.

I called and emailed, though I can see GBTV on my computer and through HDMI connect to my television I would prefer to just tune in on my cable box. I pay a lot of money for TV and Internet. To offer those that do not have computers the opportunity to watch is a good thing. I called my carrier and asked. The response I got was “I have never heard of The Blaze, get a Roku, in time we may have it”

    Mr. Beck.

I think it will be a very good thing when I get a cable channel dedicated to conservative/libertarian programming. I am not aware of any others out there right now and have been eager to find one.
I look forward to seeing it happen.

Fox News kept me sane for a few years, but this insipid idea of Fair & Balanced drove me away 2 years ago. What is the point of “balancing” a sane person’s point of view with insanity or lies? I just don’t need it.

The main thing I will be looking for is a few fresh faces on the programming. Not GB all day, every day. Not that I don’t appreciate your thoughts too, I just can’t watch continual monologues.

Glenn Beck, thanks much for giving me the TRUTH for many months on FoxNews, and then GBTV for a long time via Roku. You lost me via Roku due to Roku not being able to provide. DISH is not my flavor, so I miss watching you on a daily basis! I have encouraged Knology (WOW) to add you to the lineup, but, no takers, as yet. Just like CNN, the FoxNews, both have become losers since you left.

This is a step backwards for The Blaze. While it is good to widen your audience, the reason many if not most of us signed up to The Blaze was because we were tired of the rules and other crap that goes along with being on cable/satellite TV. If the programming is changed at all in order to please the carriers they have won and The Blaze’s viewers have lost. People need to stop watching TV, it is a waste of money, time, and brain function.

      Totally Agree.
Cable/Satellite = You pay big $ for propaganda TV
If the Blaze can get viewers to watch, at least it’s
      better than other “programming”
Ever wonder why they call it “programming”?

I would love to see theBlaze on more channels, but if other channels are banning gun advertisements, would it make more sense to push DishTV conversions for audience members? Want to see theBlaze on DishTV but are a cable customer? No problem, use the coupon “Beck” and you get “xyz” deal? Why reward a network for helping an opinion that oppresses civil rights?

By all means, expand the blaze.
It is the bright cinder that ignited an aurora to crown the industry.
    No less.
    Thank you Mr Beck.
