Teen Flash Mob Shuts Down Ford City Mall in Chicago After Mindless Behavior Concert

Nineteen teenagers have been arrested following a frightening disturbance that shut down a Chicago shopping mall and left two people with minor injuries.

Chicago police spokeswoman Laura Kubiak says the teens arrested Saturday were males and females ranging in age from ages 13 to 18. Mall general manager John Sarama said the chaos involved hundreds of “somewhat organized” youth.

“It’s like a mob scene, just jumping on cars, breaking windows,” witness Moses Khativ told ABC7/WLS.

Most are charged with misdemeanor mob action, but a 16-year-old has been charged with battery of a mall security guard who was trying to evacuate the mall.

“I left my sign outside the door where it has a logo and everything, and they picked that up and threw it at people,” mall employee Jasmine Murillo said. “They were throwing it at security, police, kids, anything. Anything they found, they picked up and started throwing.”

One male teen reportedly threw a wad of small bills numbering about $100 in total, according to the Chicago Sun-Times.

“I don’t understand what the purpose of that was other than it caused a bit more commotion,” Sarama commented.

Video purporting to show the flash mob highlights a massive group of teens blocking traffic and generally wreaking havoc outside. Around 25 seconds in, the camera zooms in on a young man holding a chair.

“Throw that bi***! Throw that bi***!” someone urges him over and over. Within seconds, the young man throws the chair at the back window of a moving vehicle, shattering the glass:

“Let’s get it! Let’s get it!” the cameraman appears to yell after the glass shatters. Some in the crowd cheer on the young criminal, but most just keep walking.

According to ABC7 the destructive group dispersed from the mall to other local businesses, where they continued to cause a disturbance.

Ford City Mall senior general manager John Sarama says the incident wasn’t related to an appearance by the boy band “Mindless Behavior,” which ended about 45 minutes earlier. But some of the bystanders thought the events were at least somewhat connected.

“It’s horrible,” Murillo added. “It’s like young kids, you get an opportunity to meet one of your favorite stars, and look at how you react to that.”

He isn’t a Christian, as apparent by his actions and choices made. He wants this country to fall into an abyss that it cannot come out of.

I couldn’t help but notice how fashionable this crowd was. The girls with their hairdos and fancy nails. People with nice warm clothing on. They look young and healthy and fashionable toward their peers.

I have news for these young kids. America is going to be one tough place to survive in by the time you are in full adulthood. The old days of the 70s, 80s, and even 90s where you had second chances and 502nd chances to get your life right are over.

By the time you are in full adulthood you just might find yourself in an America where you will be too cold and too hungry to pick up and throw anything in arm’s reach. Instead of wasitng your time at a mall making yourself ever dumber, you might want to think a bit ahead for your own well-being.

As the kids these days like to say – just sayin.

Where is the outrage from the African American community? WIll they blame poverty, and pent up frustration with a racist society? Behavior such as this is the reason some people lock their car doors, move to the other side of the street, have security watch them shop etc… If you think racism exists and it needs to disappear, hold these people accountable for perpetuating and reinforcing stereotypes.

What a profound yet, unfortunately anymore, expected and now perhaps fitting end for “BIack History Month!

If that were me driving that SUV, I am pretty sure I would have been quite tempted to drop it in R and hit the gas. Until citizens decide that we will no longer will abide by the liberal laws that ties our hands yet embolden these punks to run amok without fear of getting his head bashed in or limbs broken, then they will continue to do this kind of thing.

If I or anyone was out in that with children, you don’t think the weapon of choice I wish I had wasn’t a full automatic with high capacity mag? Yeah we don’t need to have automatic weapons with high capacity magazines, what would we ever NEED that for?

All of their behavior is par for the course in Chicago, except for one thing. How often does a young black throw a handful of money into the air? Who is paying to incite this little riot? Can you imagine being anywhere near these people in a disaster? If the power ever goes out for an extended period of time in Chicago, half of them will be die by their neighbor’s hand within 2 weeks.

Note at around 1:49, it appears one of these fine “youths” (as the press will call them), appears to say: “Beat his white ass”. Most cities have around 2 cops for every 1,000 citizens. Chicago has around 4. Divide these numbers by 3 for 3 shifts in a day. Then, divide it by whatever number of police are administrative. So for kicks, let’s just say Chicago has 1 cop for every 1,000 citizens on any given shift. I would say there are less than 1,000 youth here, but let’s say we assign one cop to this lovely event to stop these fine young citizens from “beating his white ass” or from smashing cars. Anybody think it would be effective? Fact is, the uncivilized among us outnumber the police by a significant margin and nanny government cannot protect people. I’m glad to have moved out of the city.

  I don’t need to read the hand signs when i can read the T-Shirt. Also the camera man shouted “Kill Whitey” a couple of times and i don’t think that is gang slang for some kind of mating ritual.

This is the new normal since the crowning of BHO. As the economy slides further and inflation keeps ticking up, it will expand exponentially. I look for a very long hot summer in our urban areas and much hand wringing from the ruling class. The liberties that we have had for over two centuries will be a casualty. I live in a rural area and know how to protect our lives and property. Pity the the poor suburbanites suffering from the white guilt syndrome that they bestowed upon themselves. BHO loves the turmoil as it is his base. It will be ugly and I hope citizens understand the very thin line between civilization and barbarism. Prepare for the worse and hope for the best.
