Never seen the show. Best ever family show that I have seen is probably “Leave it to Beaver” in my opinion.

There are other shows that are more dramatic or more emotional, yet I found this series to target a series of story lines that were relevent without getting too extreme in any direction, and they always highlighted the challenges and successful outcomes of good parenting.

Unfortunately, since it was not too dramatic in any direction other than good content, other producers marginalized it success simply by offering a number of alternatives that distracted people? They had to compete with several shows based on single parenting or living in poverty, or some other odd ball theme?
